Sep 28, 2009from the internet (with an internet address location) into a WinMail Email message? I used to do this in OE6. The image box used to pop open and then I pasted the address location into the box.

Sep 21, 2009I have gotten a new computer with Windows Vista which I'm not familiar with. When I upload my photos, they go to the Windows Live picture place instead of just to "my pictures" like they did with XP. When I try to email pictures, they can only be emailed as attachments. This is a huge pain to have to individually open each picture. How can I make my pictures appear in the body of the email so recipients don't have to click to open each picture?

Dec 4, 2009I have downloaded Smiley Central but every time I send an email through Windows Mail I get the message "one or more of the pictures in this message could not be found" and the smiley won`t attach. I suspect I have a pop-up blocker on somewhere, but only found one and despite turning it off, the smiley still won`t send/attach. What am I doing wrong. Apr 21, 2008I have a partition on my laptop with Vista 64-bit as my main OS. The second partition is an XP build (32-bit). I want to resize the XP partition but the built in Vista disk management controls keep bringing back an error. I'm thinking about reformatting and putting on a 32-bit Vista. Aug 4, 2009That devious trick did not work for me. Here is what I did;
1. Create a pps ( many slides included ).
2. Open new ppt > Insert > Object > click Create from file >Browse and locate my pps > OK
3. Resize my pps to cover the whole screen, set Animations as Automatically after 3 seconds.
4. Save it as pps.
When I tried to view, it only show the 1st slide and exited. What step did I missed

Click on the Start Button and right click on Computer and select Manage.
Expand the Storage section and select Disk Management.
Then just right click on any partition and select either Expand or Shrink to change the size of the partition....

Mar 26, 2008I want to do a true clean re-install of Vista Ultimate, and wipe out all data on my hard drive (not a clean lite re-install). When I select drive D I'm told it's too small to use for the install. I'm unable to resize this drive.

May 27, 2008I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 Core 2 2.0G Duo Processor, 2 Gig of ram and a 256MB ATI Mobility X1400 video card. I am running Windows Vista. Whenever I play a Divx movie with WMP it skips. Sometimes the sound plays good but the picture becomes slows down. After about 30 sec? min, the picture takes off and catches up to the sound. I have tried other players and I get the same results. The only one that seems to work is VLC player. I talked to a fella in a computer shop today and he suggested more ram. Is 2 gig of ram not enough, or should I have more? I have another computer that is also an Inspiron 6400 with the exact same hardware but it has XP on it. It does not have any problems with it. Is this a vista problem or do I need to upgrade it already?

Jul 29, 2009I use Vista Windows Mail. My cousin just got a new computer with Vista and uses Windows Mail. I have no problem receiving pictures from others and no problem with my emails that I send. When I receive emails from her it shows there is an attachment, but the picture comes thru as the box with a red X. There is no yellow line above it to click on. Right clicking the red X doesn't work. As long as her emails show there is an attachment, why aren't her pictures coming through?

I must have unchecked a box that turns off the display of picture properties as you hover the pointer over the picture. I don't even remember what it is called anymore so it makes it hard to find out where i must have unchecked it at.
