View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently set a password for my user account in Vista Home Premium, which worked fine when I locked the account and unlocked it again to try it out. After restarting, however, it wouldn't accept the password! There's only my account and a disabled guest account, and I use the password for some of my online accounts, so I know I got the password right. I got back into Windows by using the password reset on my USB-stick, but it's weird... and it gets better! Today I locked the account while I was in the library, and when I got back I couldn't log back in! Switching users, however, and then logging in with the locked account worked... so password and user account are fine, it just doesn't always get accepted.

View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen i use the tools drop down menu in windows mail and open up the various tabs the "accept" key or "Ok" key is missing - which prevents me from making changes to my settings. (i only learned of this when I tried to fix a problem with the email spell checker following advice on this community to open tools and spelling. i was
able to see the languages but could not then accept the change - because the accept key was not on view in the dialogue box. I tried to drag the box around on screen to bring the accept key into view but could not).
