I just installed this game but it stutters heavily and in the main menu i can't see the mouse. It isn't my system I have a AMD HD4850 an E8400 , even FarCry2 works perfectly. Can it be that this game isn't vista x64 proof??
View 7 RepliesI have Vista Windows and installed some updates. I hadn't updated in awhile so there were a few old updates with the new. Now I have these issues: My computer will come on but the mouse won't move. A keyboard appears on my screen (right under the box where I enter my password) I don't know if I have a bug or if the updates did this. What does it sound like to you? I'd like to do a system restore, but I'm not sure how to do that from safe mode.
View 5 Replies View RelatedHere is the chronology as I remember it... Had new PC with Vista for the first time for a month now...no problems. Installed Hitman game. When I attempted to start game, receieved error that a file was missing. From my memory, it was something like MSVLL771.dll (not accurate, but close). Vista prompted me that it could find the problem and then recommended a download. It was an update in the realm of Framework 1.1- something or other. After downloading and attempted implementation, Vista let me know this program was already on my PC. I did an internet search for the "missing" file and downloaded it specificly and placed in the game's file. The game now ran with no problem.
Yet, at the next boot up of PC it crashed to the "problem" screen. At this point I was able to use safe mode and attempt a recovery by going back to an earlier save point. Did this and reboot. Now PC crashes again and now will not start in any mode (safe, normal, safe with networking, etc) By not start, I mean I get past the prompt asking which mode to start, screen goes blank, no Vista load, just a cursor. The LED light seems to be processing, yet nothing happens from here.I placed Vista disk in to boot from it to Fix and Re-install, but this does not help. After a few steps it goes to a driver selection screen with no drivers available. Lets me browse, but I have no clue where to look for these??
i keep getting an error message saying that my computer is not configured for the game i installed. i was conned into buying this machine because my older model died. i was told buy the sales person it would play the game...it did noti was then told i had to purchase a new power supply and a nother video card and then it would play. it still has not your help area is a joke ive spent 7 hours trying to get this piece of expensive junk to work to no availe. there is no discussion/blog/community/or help topic.

Then this message pops up, Assasin's Creed Game has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is abailable. I have tried restarting the game, reinstalling it, everything I can think of.
View 8 Replies View Relatedwhile back I had a Windows XP PC but it got dumb and crashed. So I just got my new Tower Which is Windows Vista-x64(Home Premium.) On my old machine I had a game I new and loved called Rayman 2 that isn't compatible to Vista. So my only option was to install it under Microsoft VPC 2007. It did Install but It wouldn't play. Here is the issue: I go To play the game and an error pops up that said I need to install DirectX 6.0 so I did. It didnt matter tho cuz I still had the error. So then I realized the error as telling me to configure the Graphics so It had another error when I Opened The "GXSetup."
Which was this: error1.jpg It Didn't Really matter because it still let me open the exe. But HERE IS WHERE THE REAL PROBLEM STARTED. The program successfully opened! But This is what it contained: MajorError.jpg My only thought was what the f*ck I am going to scream. Because from what it looks like Virtual PC Wasn't Detecting Much or anything at all to do with Graphics (the dropdown arrows contain absolutely nothing).
i installed game spy when i got C@C tiberium wars. and the expansion. it first worked but then i dont know why but it wont work. i dont know why. i even installed the .net framework 1.1 and it told me to updated to the fram i had. it just gives me the old program ran into problem windows has colsed program window.

A problem with your video hardware caused Windows to stop working correctly. I downloaded new version of Nvidia Driver from its official website. Hp has old driver version[original]. On device manager there is no problem with both drivers. i just updated Vista. After updating drivers we get error when we start the Game saying graphic card doesnt not support Amification [or something]. what sould, we do??

Everything worked fine until, I went and used a 360 controller emulator (don't bother telling me i shouldn't have - I have that covered). I backed up all the original drivers and installed the emulator. it didn't work, so like an idiot I tried putting them in the sys directories to replace the system drivers thinking that might work.... ok bad move it didn't work, so I replaced everything back to the way it was and continued life without a 360 controller. I plugged in the Rumblepad 2 and it IS recognized by the logitech software, but the microsoft game controller control panel wouldnt start. Also the pad doesn't work in ANY game.
I tried reinstalling microsoft common controller 64bit but it gives me an error message "not enough storage available to process this command." - I've tried every work around i could find with no luck. (note: it's not the "not enough server storage..." error). Back to the joystick problem - I've also replaced the joy.cpl and direct x drivers, ran dxdiag with no errors, nothing seems to fix the joystick problem, and I can't install the common controller 64 bit without the error.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have nVidia as per title, but when I want to play HD 1080p videos through VLC player I come into problems. It starts of 1-2 second then stops, while you can hear the sound, then plays the video for another 1-2 second and stops again, while you can hear the sound.When attempts to play the video, it jumps to where video should be together with the soudn you can see pixels and very slow movements and it stops again. Almost it seems that it is buffering the video while attempting to play it in the same time. I know that max resolution is 2560x1600 which is more then enough to 1080p HD videos. I have 17" monitor, Q6600, 4GB ram. how can I play 1080p HD file without having video output start stop. Went an downloaded trial version of CoreAVC and was able to play it through Windows media player

View 4 Replies View RelatedRunning Vista Home Ult 64. I have a USB mouse, which is listed in the DMgr as "HID compliant device". There are no drivers for the mouse, which is by Kingwin.
If I wake the computer with the keybaord, the mouse functions fine. If I wake the computer with the keyboard, the mouse no longer functions. Doesn't even function after a reboot. The only way to get it to function is to unplug it from it's USB port, and then back in again. Called ASUS, and they said I do have the right amperage coming from the PSU.
Ive got vista ultimate 64. With a standard computer. My problem is that I cant configure my mouse buttons. After I install the latest 64bit mouse driver, and click on the mouse icon to configure the mouse buttons, an error pops up that says - 'Some mouse settings might not work until you connect a Microsoft mouse to a USB port on your computer or set up a Microsoft mouse that uses Bluetooth technology'.
The problem is that I have a microsoft mouse that is connected to a USB port. The mouse works fine on my spare XP computer so its not the mouse that's faulty. I tried separate microsoft mice - wheel mouse optical and the intellimouse optical, both by microsoft and both have same issue.
I tried different usb ports and same happens. I tried the ps2 port and same happens.
I uninstallled all mouse drivers and reinstalled but no help. Basic left and right click works but cant configure the wheel button. It was working a week ago, but I went for a holiday and when I came back it was faulty. All vista updates are installed, security is the windows firewall, AVG free antivirus, and windows defender, but none of these have been a problem before
After having failed to install some program, mouse, precicely 'Double Click' stopped working, then I'm forced to use 'Open Page' by clicking intended icon, i.e. 'Word' by clicking and then 'open.' Also, 'Favorites' at the top, I'm NOT able to access any web-site because mouse/'clicking' does not work. 'Start' at far left bottom, if 'classic view,' mouse is completely useless.

I have tried re-installing the mouse drivers but it made no difference. After numerous attempts to download a hotfix provided by Microsoft that I thought might fix the problem (error code 40?), I eventually managed to get the hotfix installer to work only to be informed that it was not for my system!!! I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit and a Dell Premium mouse.Has anybody else experienced this problem, and would they be able to tell me what they did to fix it? I changed my keyboard and loaded the keyboard driver and since then the keyboard or mouse will not work. I switch on the pc it boots ok but as I said KB or mouse will not work. I shut down via power switch to force the pc to ask "start normally, safe mode etc" at this point I can use the keyboard, I then select any of the above, allow the PC to boot, and same problem.
I have tried to "Repair" with Vista disk but I have a Reminder program that is "ontop" so cannot get access to the Repair window because --- thats right KB and mouse will not work. Can you give me any help please on how to access the control panel, as I feel sure that if I remove the KB driver all will be ok. I have connected the KB for which I loaded the driver no go. Replaced KB with a no frills one, no go. I was using a wireless mouse originally and have changed that also to a basic one.
I've got a custom built pc- athlonxp 3000+ ,2 gb mem, Windows Vista home basic . The problem is the wired keyboard and wireless mouse aren't working. I swapped out the wireless mouse for a wired one and the problem stayed the same.

When I physically move the mouse the light on the receiver blinks but the mouse does not move on the screen. I tried plugging the mouse into another system I have running xp and have zero problems. View 5 Replies View RelatedSometimes when i watch a movie in ect wmp or streams something on the net, then my mouse cursor often goes ape :s It turns in to a thin line or either it shows up like it has been in a blender because its messed up. Normaly it fixes with a reboot or if i am lucky then i can try click around a bit or open and close folders, then it turns normal again. I have a radeon 4800 1 gb ddram and i have tryed with uniblue, ccleaner, Seach and destroy. scandisk, defrag and clear temp folders. I tryed to update every single program and drivers, but i have a clue that it could be related to codex packs.. I use K-Lite newest. I tryed to remove and install K lite over and over, but this problems is still driving me nutz.
