Ddr3 Going To Lower In Price?
Apr 12, 2008right now ddr3 is a lil bit better than ddr2 but its so much higher in prices.

Remove Upper/lower Filters (Lower Filters Were Missing), Switching The Sata Ports From Were The Device Was Connected
Dec 15, 2009As i already stated, my drive doesn't read any dvd's anymore. I've already tried to:
-Remove Upper/lower filters (Lower filters were missing, could this be the problem?)
-Switching the sata ports from were the device was connected.
-Upgrading the firmware of the dvd player
-Upgrading the Bios
-Asked here
-Some stupid things.
Windows and the bios do see this drive and give it the correct name. I've already tried this with an other drive and she had this problem to.

Mar 12, 2008i recently bought a new laptop with Windows Home Premium and Office pre installed i have activated the 60 day trial period but i can't find the price of the full product do i have to pay the full price or do i get any discount as i have paid for the Home Premium.

Dec 24, 2009how do i get my computer to run at a lower Memory use..... my mem will run at 3.00GB max. now it's sitting at 1.11GB and the lowest i could get it was 563MB a couple of days ago. the cpu is jumping beetween 71 and 57....... must be doing something.....if you have any tips on how to lower Memory use i would love to know.

Nov 10, 2009One of my Intel Core 2 Quad processor cores has a temperature consistently lower than the other 3 cores, WHY? I have a question. I need to know the reason why one of my cores (Core 2) is running about 3-4 degrees below the temperatures of the other 3 cores on my Intel Core 2 Quad processor. Restarting and rebooting seems not to help, it is always the same core with the lower temperature. Is there something wrong with that particular core or something overly defective with the processor itself??? It rarely ever fluctuates and stays at 33 degrees Celsius. The other core temperatures are around 36-37 degrees at rest/idle and do frequently go up when an action is performed on the computer.
Please let me know what is going on with this consistent core 2 temperature and please provide me with a reason why this is happening. Is it something that is beginning to go with this processor? Is there anything that can be done about it to get all four (4) core temperatures in balance.
Lower Wattage Charger Stopped Working
Jun 17, 2009my laptop uses a 90 watts dell charger. lately it stopped working to im trying to get it replaced. in the mean time a friend burrowed me a spare one but it's 65 watts. when ever i use my laptop on power it moves really slow. is there anyway or any setting that cud be changed to allow my laptop to work normal with the 65 watts charger untill i get my 90 watts charger replaced?

The CPU consumes less energy and the fans consume less energy from a cooler thermal load. Dec 15, 2008I have a really weird issue, here are the details.Firstly, as stated in the title i do have Vista 64 bit. Recently bought 2x2 Gig DDR3 1600 (corsair TW3X4G1600C9DH) with timings 9-9-9-24. My motherboard is an Asus P5Q3 Deluxe. This chipset (Intel P45) has know issues with DDR3 running at higher than 1066, but this has supposedly been rectified with a BIOS update which i have flashed, so not sure if that is relevant as my problem is not speed related.
Under system properties the ram is shown as 4 Gigs but in task manager it says: Physical Memory, Total: 2046. The usage graph shows about 1.1 used and is just over half-way full. Not sure if this is valid but i have a pre-release SP2, not sure if this could cause such a problem. CPU-z shows both modules are there, but shows total 4 gigs, however Everest only shows 2 Gigs. Screenshot below, hope this is not too big, but theres a lot of info to squeeze in.

Jun 9, 2008I have Vista 6.0 (Build 6001; service pack 1) I'm also running Norton Internet Security. When I go to a website like MySpace most of the pictures are blank and have x's in them. Also if I click on a link before the page finishes loading I get a small icon on the lower left side of with a yellow error flag.

The problem can occur around the time when I am installing something but I dont think its always this way. I have read forums where it could be the hardrives performing self diagnostics. I have all the latest patches for vista.
