Downloadng Stationery Can't Find

Windows Mail gives you some pretty nice stationery but in the "Help" section it also tells you how you can download a lot more stationery. I followed the directions: Tools, Options, Compose, Stationery then Download More. When a new page comes up, I click on "Click on Download More Stationery Here" and I follow the directions. I must have tried this 5 times and I don't know where the stationery I chose goes. I can't find it anywhere. Where should I look for it and am I doing anything wrong? I have Windows Vista and use Windows Mail and Verizon if my ISP if you have to know these thing

I recently upgraded to VISTA and discovered I didn't like Windows Mail because of the way the autofill thing works for the addresses. So, someone in this group told me to upgrade to Windows Live Mail. I did that and so far have been very happy with it. Except that, I can't find new stationery for the program. I love using cloudeight stationery and it was working on the windows mail, but not on windows live mail. I emailed and asked them about this and the following is their reply to me. Is this true? Is Windows Live Mail really Hotmail? I look forward to hearing back from someone about this.

I've downloaded several stationeries from Microsoft Windows Mail, but when I go to my stationery folder, none of the new stationery is there. Where is it and how to I find it?

I'm trying to download some Windows Mail Stationery from the Microsoft site. showing up on my computer after I install it. At first I was just clicking on what I wanted, and then selecting to run. It went through and seemed to install normally. Note: I have UAC turned off. Also even though the download page says Windows Mail when it finishes installing it says Outlook Express. I have also tried installing it via clicking to save and then running after, along with right clicking it once downloaded and selecting to run as adminstrator (even though I am the administrator).
I know about the different storage folders. (I have the hidden folders viewable.) I have looked in both folders and the stationery that I just downloaded is nowhere to be found. Just to be sure I tried two different files and they both seem to install fine but don't show up anywhere. I have downloaded other Windows Mail stationery from another site and it puts it right where it's supposed to go and works fine. Is there something I'm missing here? Could there be another folder that it's installing into other than the two I know about? (the one under common files and the one under appdata - don't feel like typing the whole paths) I did see something about a Windows Live stationery folder but I don't appear to have that one on my computer.

I just bought a new laptop and am now using Windows Mail instead of Outlook Express. I have a backup of my stationery I used with Outlook Express. How can I add it to the Windows Mail stationery folder? I think I copied and pasted it in the wrong place because when I open up a new email, go to Format, stationery, I do not see my old stationeries there at all.

This was the path to my stationery folder before I used Revo unstaller to uninstall the program "malwarebot remover" C:UsersOwnerAppDataLocalMicrosoftWindows MailStationery. Now AppData no longer appears and the Local folder is empty. Did the uninstaller cause this and is it necessary to have these items in the list? I now access my stationery folder in this way: C:program filescommon filesmicrosoft sharedstationery. Just curious about why the original path is no longer there and if AppData and Local folders are necessary for anything. If so, how do I get them back? I have a new computer an Emachine with Vista Home Basic and I use Windows Mail.

If you use stationery in Win Mail it seems to use Aerial whatever font you may have selected for Mail.

In windows mail, when selecting new stationery, a small applet would allow you to choose.
Something has changed on my m/c as now that applet opens in full screen, with no means of resizing the window.

I have a simple text file with a certain word in it. I try to find this text file, but vista won't find it. Windows 2000, linked by network, finds it within a second.
I have tried all available options.
"include non-indexed"
"always search file names and contents"
"find partial matches"
"include subfolders"
etc
etc
It just doesn't work. Why is there not a simple search function that actually works like in windows2000? I am using Vista Ultimate 64 bit. But not having a working search function doesn't look that "ultimate" to me.

I'm using Vista Home Premium - I generally use Outlook 2007 for my e-mail and organising but recently went to Windows Mail to find a Newsgroup (unavailable in Outlook). However, no Newgroups were visible. Unable to find a way to find them I clicked on "Help" and the advice includes "Click the Tools menu, and then click Newsgroups." However, there is no "Newsgroups" option in the Tools menu that displays. The Windows Mail I have is version 6.0.6000....

I have been searching for a built-in replacement for net send in vista, and found that is was supposed to have msg.exe. I cannot find it, and neither could a complete search. Does msg.exe really come with vista home premium 32bit? cmd tells me it doesnt recognize it as an internal/external command

I 've an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 + Vista HP 64 bit. I've seen on INTEL site that this mobo don't have Intel Virtualization Technology infact I've tried by VirtualBox (and other similar SW) to guest Windows 7 with negative result. I'd like to know if with this mobo is impossible or I have to find the right sw?

issue started today, when I go to print a page or anything off the internet explorer I get an error message. Error message is " [Window Title] Windows Internet Explorer [Content] Cannot find 'file:///C:/Users/username/AppData/Local/Temp/Low/CJ30HFE8.htm'. Make sure the path or Internet address is correct. [OK] When I go to a different website to see if I could print that I get same erorr but with a different .htm file. The printer I have is a Lexmark x8350

I have a problem that everytime when I open a folder with mpeg-file the windows gives an error message about that host process stopped (rundll32) so it seems that I have an error with codec lmpgspl.ax. This problem started when I downloaded the ACE Mega Codecs pack and I have HP lap top. The update from HP website didnīt work.
I have read through the threads about this problem and it seems that the solution is to rename the file, because I wasnīt able to unregister the file. Problem is that I canīt find the file from my computer. I have changed the option from control panel to show all the hidden files, but still my searches are without results. In one post Malke recommended to find the dll-file from system32, but I only find rundll32.exe, but I havenīt had the guts to rename that file because I believe that is the wrong one.
I have already tried all the other solutions that windows and many others have posted on these forums, but really donno what to do.

I have a Toshiba Satellite A215 laptop with FUJITSU MHY2250BH ATA device disc drive. When I go to 'My computer' the drive is there, as soon as I enter a game or a cd of any kind into the drive there is no auto play and the disc drive disappears completely from 'My Computer' I went to device manager and it is there, said its working properly. I tried to update drivers and it all up to date.

I just migrated from a Win98 system to Vista Home Premium. All new hardware. In Win98 I had to delete the .tmp files every week before I backed up. I can't find the .tmp files in Vista. Can someone tell me where they are & do I need to clean them out.

I have Vista and use Windows Mail. I was typing (a long email) and the power went off! I had hoped that when I restarted puter, I would get a notice of the unsaved email but did not. I can't find it any where either. Do you know where it would have gone? I did the 'search' with no luck.

I installed a Lexmark 6200 printer on a Acer Laptop runing Vista Home Premium. The installation took a long time but went to completion. I used the Lexmark disk for the install. The 6200 displays on the Control Panel screen as "Ready." I made it the default. The printer is pluged into one of the USB ports.
The problem: nothing prints. I sometimes get in an error message - can't find printer. But typically, when I do File>Print nothing prints. I have tried using Works, NotePad and Open Office Writer with the same results.

I may not understand how Windows Explorer's Search (W/E Search) is supposed to work. I know how the Find in the DOS Window works, so let me start with an example using FIND. My expectation that both have similar capabilities is perhaps misplaced. In the "search for content" thread below I describe the steps I took to make sure the .DAT extension is in the index control panel, and re-indexed several times to insure that .DAT files are in the index.
I have a folder named TPL which I think has been indexed. It has about 5000 text files in it most of which happen to have the extension .DAT, and several other text files, some of which have the extensions .INC and .TXT. I know some of the files have the phrase GRID in them, some multiple times. I go to the folder I want in DOS, and get to the point where the cursor is:............

When you get a spam email, the address automatically goes into your address "Select Recipients" of your email addresses. I cannot find a way to delete this name out. If I got to New Contacts, and delete the name out, then it wants me to put in another. If I do not. I get a "Unknown" in my addresses.

For the last 5 or 6 days ,I have had to restore my computer to an earlier point to be able to access the internet. I get a cannot find server that comes up then I click on my fire fox icon on my desk top to access my cox.net and it gives the can't find server. I called cox and the could see that there was no problem with the server.

I received a notice from Facebook that a movie was taken of me at my neice's wedding, and so I went to the You Tube to view it but I was advised to download the latest version of Adobe. I did so, with no apparent result. The next time I rebooted my computer, One Care Firewall told me that the program ld08.exe was trying to access the Internet. I blocked it from doing so, and Googled ld08.exe to find out it is a virus. I can not find it (ld08.exe) in my computer anywhere, but every time I start my computer, One Care Firewall advises that it has blocked the program ld08.exe again. I can see it in my Task Manager listed in 'Processes' but I do not know enough about computers to end it.
