Adware Delete Trojan Horse But It Comes Back ?
Dec 4, 2005I think my computer has a worm. I've been using A2 and Ad-aware to try to clean it up, unsuccessfully. It says it found trojan horses and eliminated them but they're always back.
- My automatic updates are shut off, can't fix it.
- My service Pack 2 disappeared, along with the firewall.
- Sophos became disabled.
- My CD drive is only recognized periodically
Adware Not Able To Delete Trojan Horse - C:/windows/system32/test3adll
Jul 20, 2005while running a scan with ad-aware it seemed to trigger an alert from norton antivirus(i know) that a virus had been detected, the ad-aware scan came up clean as did a spybot scan but im still left with the virus which is a trojan horse called c:/windows/system32/test3adll, now im not exactly sure what the best course of action should be, would i be right in entering the file details in the search bar of the start menu, making a floppy of the file just in case its needed for some other purpose, switching off system restore while i delete it and immediately switching system restore back on, any advice/help in dealing with this problem will be much appreciated

Apr 1, 2006I have windows xp, i have avg antivirus and have run the tests in pc pitstop and done a regular search thru windows for the Trojan-Dropper.VBS.Inor.cz but can't locate it on my pc. My IE browser freezes everytime i go to a particular site and yet when i ask if anyone else has trouble with that site only a very few people say yes. The solution they give me is to download Mozilla and use it for that site. That doesn't protect me from the trojan completely infecting me does it? Can anyone tell me how to delete this trojan?

Aug 9, 2005I have AVG free edition and it found 8 trojan horse viruses. Funny that the free program picked it up but my Zone Alarm Pro hasn't said a word.I can't cut and paste the paths bu one is C:program files/dell/R61444.exe and another isC:i386/CISVC.EXE, C:windows/$NtServicePackUninstall$cisvc.exe and several more It says they aren't healable and the source is a back up copy. Back up copy of what I do not know, I don't remember using a back up copy of anything. When I tried to put one it detected this morning in the vault it said if I did that it might cause something to become unstable.I did get another error message that said something about copies of something had been replaced with unauthenticated (I think) versions, and that something could be unstable (this was after AVG ran and said I had the viruses)and to insert the xp home edition disk. I did that and pretty much didn't know what to do after that so I took it out again.

Mar 31, 2005i have a packard bell laptop which is about 2.5 years old and has windows XP home pre loaded i have got infected by 3 worm viruses w32 spybot worm ,w32spybot worm KHC and trojan dropper. in an attempt to remove i decided to use the pc restore disk to restore all setting to factory settings however i have now done this twice and still appear to have the viruses is this normal or am i doing something wrong.

Apr 6, 2006I will like to know from the Cnet uses that use windows xp sp2 to tell me how many viruses that they has on their pc. My record number is 105 viruses when doing a full system scan with the full paid version and updated version of Norton anti-virus 2004! I was surprised that i had that many viruses when i had been running norton for 3 or 4 months running full system scans once a week and a quick scan once everyday. I later then uninstalled norton becuase my computer was going too slow and installed avast antivirus. The first scan that i ran with avast as soon as i installed it found another 24 viruses. That is a total of 129 viruses.

Sep 13, 2005it seems that every year when norton internet security is nearing renewal our computer starts having major problems.
this year i delayed renewing til five days (sept. 10th) before expiration (sept. 15th).
1) the modem would dial up but only at 7kbps, 9kbps, but finally would get to a normal amount of kbps. a couple days later, all the settings for internet dial up were getting screwed up and upon correcting it all-they'd get screwed up again.
2) i called our internet's tech support a few times, followed their suggestions, finally being told that the modem most likely has gone bad. we have an old external modem, which i decided to hook up
