I have to sign in each time, several times a day, even though the "sign on auto" is checked. I never log off. No help from hotmail just the obvious, do the above. Would appreciate a solution. Use XP Pro.

Perhaps someone here has a clue:This is a new problem over about the last 2 months (not a problem before):On Windows XP, Internet Explorer 7 (though happened also with Internet Explorer 6 before I upgraded):Every time I open Hotmail via Internet Explorer, I sign in with username and password, it comes up that username and/or password is incorrect (even though it IS correct). I then sign on a second time, and log in successfully.If I clear all cookies and Temp internet files, I can sign on the first time I try after that, but if I then close Internet Explorer and reopen & try again, or open a second Internet explorer window without closing the first, the problem reappears.

When the Inbox and Junk links do show, momentarily, they are shown as double images printed over the existing words "Related Places, Today, Contact List, and Calender" since they changed to the new Hotmail version last week, which makes it impossible to open the Inbox and Junk links.

So I tried using Outlook at home and put my two hotmail accounts into it and everytime I try to use it, it freezes. I have two hotmail accounts, one for business and one for just goofy stuff. Are the two accounts conflicting when I try to use Outlook? If so, why doesn't it happen when I use Outlook Express

Problem is, if I load a CD or DVD into the Drive they dont auto run they just spin up, and to launch I have to do it through explorer, Similarly with my Digital Camera, when I plug it in its supose to ask me what i want to do with the files but the same happens the Nikon program does not auto run, have tried the solutions mentioned here bon this board but still no go.

I solved that problem before by removing the computer from server, joining a workgroup, then rejoining the domain. Only problem is that this time, when I joined a workgroup, I forgot the password to sign on locally, and Last Known Good Configuration won't help in this case. Is there anyway to sign on to the local machine? Even if I'd have to create another account, that's fine. Or is there a way to get the computer to give me the option to log on to a domain? Maybe I should have named this thread "Cannot Log On To XP"
