I have a probleme, lately I figure out that when i log on ot the internet, I got this message " program not responding " and I have two option send roport or don't send it, then I have to start over, and the same thing keep going on.

Whenever I go to my computer/win explorer and try to right click on any item, i get an error in Windows Explorer with the send report and dont send option buttons. Im not able to do many things due to that. and this is not a virus or something I guess because I have a good AV software and I was using my PC throughout till yesterday evening when I shifted it from 1 room to another. And thats when it happened for the first time.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am running XP SP2 and when I try to run Disk Cleanup (from menu or command prompt) I immediately get a popup telling me "Disk Space Cleanup Manager for Windows has encountered a problem and needs to close" with the option to send and error report to Microsoft. This started happening after I added additional memory to my PC. I am not having any problems with other programs. I successfully ran a Disk Cleanup late last week. I tried removing the VolumeCaches entry from the registry and that did not fix the problem.

When I open Outlook Express {email} I keep getting messages that "Outlook Express has encountered a problem and needs to close".....and it does close when I click on send error report. At times when it does work for awhile, when I click to delete a email, that email won't show as deleted from inbox, but when I then go to the deleted folder it shows up there....checking back at the inbox the email is now gone from the inbox.

However, if I click on a file within any of these folders, the send to option is blank. I have been "playing around" with folder and file permissions to solve a problem related to sending files over my home network. I just can't seem to get the right combination of permissions to have the send to option work for all folders and files.I run XP Home (SP2) up to date with all security updates.Two screen shots are attached; the first shows the advanced security settings for a folder for which the right click/send to works.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI used to be able to go into Start menu and My Pictures in XP and select a picture and click on "email this file" and it would give me an option to "make picture smaller" or leave it the same size, and having chosen to make it smaller it would attach the smaller picture into Outlook Express and voila!I have not got this option box anymore! Can anyone tell me why I have lost this facility? When I click email this picture, it does slightly reduce the size, but not enough - like previously small, medium or large.

First you must limit the range of port that ICQ use for send. In icq, click on Main, Preferences, User tab, click on 'Not using proxy' and choose 'Use the following TCP listen port for incoming event from 1030 to 1030'. (use port number of your choice, 1030 is only for exemple)2. After, go into control panel & network connections2. Right click on your connection and select 'properties'3. 3. Then tried sending a file to to this new shortcut and it came up with "this is a read only CD" (which is not true as I can load normally from the DVD drive)

They seem to have received them, at least most people, and there is nothing shown in my Outbox. HOWEVER, I CANNOT SEND ANY EMAILS.
