I am recieving 2 different error messages. the 1st is "Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180 faulting module gtcodec.dll, version 1.10.0.0, fault address 0x00001e49". The 2nd is "Fault bucket 173850670" can anyone help me to fix this, if i try to open a folder they come up and close everything and make all my stuff disappear in the icon tray by my clock.
I have Flight Sim 2004 and it will start to the first open of TITLE PAGE then get Error screen. I got back to the ERROR LISTS and this is what appears. "Faulting Application fs9.exe, version 9.0.0.30612, Faulting module fsui dll, version 9.0.0.30612, fault address 0x00032ef0. Cannot get anywhere with M/Soft Help. I have a massive amount of added planes, scenery, textures gauges etc and would hate to loose it all and have to reload the original. The files are to big to backup so I hope that there is a way to repair the fault address item.
Getting this error message all the time: Internet explorer has encountered a problem and will shut down, blah, blah, blah. send report-don't send report. Sometimes it closes all the tabs I have opened, sometimes only part of the page comes up or it does recover but I keep getting the message. I often have to start all over and it's so frustrating and irritating. I'm using windows XP.
I've been getting a lot of Internet explorer errors. It's say Internet explorer needs to close. Also, I've been freezing on multiple sites or it never loads. I've had to ctrl+alt+delete to get off the net. Clearing cookies and temp. internet files seems to help for about 20 mins.
After using Windows Explorer to view files and folders I get the following error message:Proxy Desktop - explorer.exe - Application error. The instruction 0x01f24213 referenced memory at 0x018dad58. The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program.I am using Win XP Home Ed with Service Pack 2 installed on a Dell Dimension 8200 with 512 MB memory. What is the simplest course for recovering from this problem. The program seems to work anyway.
Good morning, I have a couple of problems and I can't figure out how to get my computer back to where it used to be. I think it has something to do with updating windows. I get messages everytime I try to open a photo or a file. One message is Explorer EXE-Application Error, The instruction of ox600470a4 referenced memory at ox600470a4. The memory could not be written. Click on ok to terminate the program, click on cancel to debug the program. I clicked on debug and the program I got a message about Dr. Watson trying to communicate with ? and I clicked ok. Then the photo closed and all the icons disappeared and the reappeared. When I opened the same photo again, I got the following message. Data Execution Prevention-Microsoft Windows to help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program and also Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close, etc. Again the program shuts down. Basically, I can't open anything without the error messages. I can't copy cd's either as I have in the past with Nero. The program starts and then I get a read message or the cd just will not copy. Is there a way that I can do a restore and have my computer back to where it was 3 weeks ago? I could do that with my old computer Windows 98se. I have a HP Media M7060n now and I have XP home edition. Up to now I have had no problems. This computer is very different from my old one and I have no clue how I would do a restore. I just want a restore from 3 weeks ago, not a complete restore. I think the problem has to do with a windows update. I think I did one just before these problems occured. I lost my virus protection and had to reinstall it. I thought maybe that was the problem so I uninstalled it, but that wasn't it. So..here I am very frustrated. I know this post is long and I apologize. Thank you~Liz
I have a serious problem with my laptop. I have a Windows XP Home Edition Compaq laptop and there is a message that keeps me from accessing my computer files that states the following:explorer.exe -Application Error: The instruction at "0x700000000" referenced memory at "0x700000000". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program Click on CANCEL to debug the program Then when I click on either choice, the desktop goes blank and I cannot access my start menu because whenever I try to do so, the message comes up again and sometimes the drwtsn32.dll (I think that's it) pops up on the screen. I would like some help and advice to fix this problem.

I updated my Win XP drivers, and after updating them I was prompted to restart my PC, when restarting i got the BSOD with 0x0000008E and 0x0000005 error messages.
I recently reformatted due to slowing of my computer and things have been great, playing alot of Battlefield 2142 and it looks amazing on my rig, however today I was playing and things were going excruciatingly show, and eventually just stopped. I had to unplug it and turn it back on. I noticed problems immediately after XP loaded up and got on my user. Resolution was to a minumum, my AIM, Steam, and just about everything crashed and gave me the error report message. Everytime I load AIM or Firefox(IE too), it gives me an error report screen, however there really isn't a problem, i just move the error window to the corner of my screen and I'm able to browse freely.
I"ve just come from PC Pitstop for a computer scan ....this after I'd done disc cleanup, defrag, and spyware clean-up.....to find out why my computer's so darned slow. I got a score of 675 out of a possible 720, but the yellow flag was on the internet ("adjust your IE cache") connection. THEN, a little window popped up and here's what it says: "Messenger Service Message FROM to TO on 7/1/2006 2:38:41 PM STOP! WINDOWS REQUIRES IMMEDIATE ATTENTION Windows has found 55 Critical System Errors. To fix the errors please do the following: 1.Download Registry Update from "www.regfixit.com" 2. Install Registry Update 3. Run Registry Update 4. Reboot your computer. FAILURE TO ACT NOW MAY LEAD TO SYSTEM FAILURE!
