I'm running on a Windows 8.1 OS, and recently it keeps getting BSODs before starting up/restarting, but it still manages to get into Windows, and it seems to run normally after that. The error message is something like PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (rtwlane.sys). I have uploaded a minidump file of the most recent BSOD on my OneDrive here.
my laptop is acer v5 471G he keep restarting when i try to shutdown it..
even when i do sleep, my laptop is not go to sleep mode.. but it restarting..
it looks like every switch in power is all becoming reboot not only that, sometimes when i doing my work.. my laptop restarting by its own and after i log in and come to start menu.. a blue screen appears and this i attached the file
Having upgraded to 8.1 yesterday, the problems I have found thus far ae:
-Restarting the computer takes about 5 mins -One of my two printers doesn't work -Internet explorer 11 is constantly freezing, then stopping responding, then quitting and re-starting
Since yesterday, I keep getting Kernel Inpage Error like every 15 mins I turnd the computer on. It runs on pre-installed Windows 8 after I bought it new a year ago. In the past, I have been getting BSOD, but it is usually after I wake it from sleep mode and the error is IRQL EQUAL OR LESS ..
Get tons of BSODs, a different explanations very time. I get Memory Management, Kernel Security Check Fail, NTFS File System, System Service Exceptions...
i started to get that BSOD after I installed windows updates few days ago.
i think i have updated all drivers but no change.. uTorrent might be the problem, because whenever i start the program, BSOD occurs in a couple of minutes afterwards.
i read similar threads but i dont have an antivirus prgram that may cause BSOD. well, at least, i dont know if i have one that not appears on program list .
I'm getting the below BSOD when connecting and using the internet at my new apartment after few minutes (usually after 10mins but sometimes less or more than that). This is not happening at my work or when using any other wireless networks.
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (wfplwfs.sys)
I'm not sure if it matters but the connection at my apartment is kind of weird... I just followed the instructions to connect to a wireless network first and then setup another broadband PPPoE connection.
I keep getting those damn BSOD's after playing for about 20 with 30 minutes. Every thing is up to date so I don't see what is wrong... The funny thing is that I get those BSOD's only when I play BF3, it doesn't even happen to BF4!
I have re installed as many drivers as i could and it seems the irql_not_less_or_equal is not happening any more but i am still getting Memory Management BSOD's.
I'm creating this topic to request the evaluation of crash dump. It usually happens after 15 or 30 minutes playing without problem and not in all games. My computer is new, about 1 month.
I am Brazilian and I used google translator to translate some of the files generated by sf diagnostics. Were partially translated (I kept the original files created in my native language Portuguese Brazil too.)
Recently i've been getting the BSOD out of nowhere. It happens roughly every 30-40 minutes for the past few hours regardless of what im doing and my laptop has become rediculously slow. The blue screen says "KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR".
I have had a long history of BSOD issues on this system, and have exhausted my patience in trying to fix it. I have done my own research to no avail, and have even utilized my warranty to get parts replaced. At this point in time I have a replaced motherboard and video card but the BSOD issues have actually increased in frequency.
For testing I have re-loaded Windows. Ran tests on the memory. Replaced the hard drive with an SSD. Updated drivers as best as I could based on the version of Windows and availability of drivers, and as mentioned I have even had the Motherboard and Video card replaced. The only hardware left to rule out is Power Supply and CPU.
I have installed windows 8.1 Update 1 after lots of issues and now this update has become a nightmare now .I have been getting BSOD from them when I play some game (Steam Dota ) most of times was getting this BSOD
My PC config is : 1. Intel Pentium Pentium CPU G630 @ 2.70GHz Socket 1155 LGA (0x1) 2. 4GB DDR3 RAM 3. 2TB Seagate HDD
I am facing a strange issues of BSOD since last 10 days. 1st I was on Windows 7 SP1 since more than 3 months and earlier on Windows 8. Suddenly my Windows 7 got corrupted after automatic indexing process by windows, in which process showed some index files corrupted and deleted. After then windows cant start, stuck into bootloop.
I formatted Windows several times but after a few hours the same condition. Then I decided to backup my HDD and Zero Level format of HDD. I did that, which took almost 6 Hrs. After then I decided to go again on Widows 8. hence, formatted and installed Windows 8.1 Update 1.
Now, again after a few minutes or hours BSOD happen again and again with random Two errors :
1. irql_not_less_or_equal (storports.sys) or 2. kernel-data-inpage-error
I am attaching herewith my CPU details alongwith logs by "dm log collector".
Over the last several days I have been attempting to update windows to 8.1. It starts, tells me that it is installing. At this point I have been unable to stay through the length of the install to see the point that the crash actually happens.
As soon as I updated to Windows 8.1 I had BSOD issues, specifically MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. Additionally Chrome was acting up, tabs weren't loading, then my system would BSOD.
After updating my Windows 8.1, I experienced a BSOD and it has yet to go away. I cannot boot into my old Windows 8.1 partition and keep getting the error message: CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED
I analysed the crash dump created and it revealed that ntdll.sys was the problem. I don't want to lose those files and my hard disk is all cluttered now with the addition of a new partition.
I've got a Vaio Fit 14E (SVF14215CLB) and since yesterday it keeps restarting after I don't use for about 5 minutes or so, every time i return it receives me with this message:
This is the debug file : GOROZPE-20_05_2014_194712_63.zip
I have been getting the BSOD every time I try to update my computer. The updates that I am trying to apply are mandatory updates, so this happens every week when my computer requires me to update.
The updates being applied are 3
Security for IE, KB 2964444 Security Update for Windows x64 based systems, KB2964757 Update Windows 8.1 for x64 based systems, KB2919355
I have just updated my laptop to Windows 8.1, it now takes about 3/4 minutes to load after entering my password, all I get is a blank screen for all that time before I see the desktop.
Ssince updating windows to windows 8.1.1 my alienware tact x mouse keep lagging on me from time to time, i checked in device manager and everything says its working properly, but it will lag out on me for a few seconds and then work just fine. What could be doing this i did not have any issue before the update.
Every five minutes I recieve the BSOD and it says critical_process_died. The weird thing is, I reset my computer back to factory settings and as soon as I booted it did it again... I got my computer to work for like 10 minutes and as soon as I thought it stopped for good, it did it again.
My PC sometimes crashes during bootup too.
Edit: I was just downloading something and halfway in it said something like "Failed to download and install files". Then the taskbar in the bottom of my screen disapeared and my computer got the BSOD saying "Critical_Process_Died"...
I am running windows 8.1 Pro. When i run uTorrent, my system crashes after a few minutes. I have tried reinstalling the OS but the problem still exists. I have attached dumps....
I've had 22 crashes since 3/19/2014 according to the event viewer. All of these have had the generic Event ID 41 for an unexpected shut down. They've been occurring daily, and I can almost guarantee that I'll get a crash within 5 minutes of turning on my computer and logging in. Once that first crash occurs, I can use my computer normally until I shut it down and then it'll happen again the next day.
These crashes usually occur within the first few minutes of logging in after a clean shutdown; however, they have also occurred at random intervals afterwards. I am not always doing anything intensive while it happens.
These crashes show no BSOD. The screens turn black and the power restarts, almost as if the power was cut and then started back up. I unfortunately do not have a spare PSU to determine if that's the root cause.
I've installed no new hardware into my computer recently, and no software at the time when this started. The only notable thing is that I setup a new router: TP-LINK TL-WDR3600.
There are no drivers on the TP-LINK webiste: TL-WDR3600 - Welcome to TP-LINK. I've let windows handle that. Yesterday I did install the USB print controller utility (there is currently no printer attached to the router), but I had a crash this morning.
I've checked my Windows folder for any dump files, and there's a memory.dmp from 11/25/13 (unrelated), and no Minidump folder.
yesterday i tried to install a free copy of camtasia 8 the video showed a way so i can register the program free the way suggested was to go to c:/windows/system32/drivers/ect/ then try to change the security properties of the host file and add a states called everyone but isn't work for me so i canceled it, then i get a free user name and serial number from friend and register the program and working properly. I restart may computer lately and its not working , its keep restating i tried refreshing the system but its said my c partition is locked i tried restoring it using troubleshooter but it's not restoring it and tell that no restore point when try to make a one the system response is "system protection is available only in online operating system. auto recovery not working too .
Since yesterday everytime I shutdown or reset my laptop(Dell XPS15) it eithewr gets stuck on the restart screen forever or just goes to blanck screen with the power still on if I shutdown. So then I have to hold the power button down to switch off in both casesI stupidly don't have any recovery option inplace and when I try and do a fresh reset or anything from Advanced system options it gets stuck on a blank screen because it can't reset properly. Also anytime I try and disable or uninstall drivers in device manager it will constantly say it's uninstalling or will go to not responding.
