Acer Aspire 7540 running windows 7 64 bit. Option 515m dongle. Up until about a week ago this worked fine. In fact, it was faster than anything I'd had before, although it sometimes used to get quite warm. Then it started displaying the message "Internet Everywhere has stopped working" every now and then. For the past two days, every time I try to connect the same message appears.
There is a windows message coming up on the middle of the screen every 5 minutes or so, warning that the "Dell Support Centre" has stopped working and that it will look for a solution. So what can I do to disable this annoyance or even all the "Not working" warnings since they are useless to me anyway
While I am working in my computer, reading email or just working in a software program, I periodically get this message that Windows Explorer has stopped working (and then an explanation that it is trying to fix it). Then it continues with another message about trying to fix it and it closes the program.I don't know why this is happening but a lot of times I am in Windows Live Mail.I have Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit (built by my computer store (Dnet Computers). I didn't put the specs in because I wasn't sure what to put in.
ive been having a problem with internet explorer crashing since i bought my laptopim using ie9 and i keep getting the msg saying internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close (i appoligize if its not the exact words). than it closes all my programs down. i dont know if it has to do with another problem i have been having while playing facebook games and watching movies using flash player. right out of the blue my game or movie (whichever im doing) freezes than either says i need to update flashplayer or it just shows a big "!" were my game or movie should be.
I use Windows 7 64 Home Premium, and I have Microsoft office 2003 installed, where I use Microsoft Outlook for my main email address. In recent months, when I close down the outlook, a Microsoft pops up states 'Microsoft word has stopped working'. If the pop up isn't closed, for some reason Microsoft word opens up, and when I do need to open Microsoft word, this freezes and takes ages to open up, also on closing, it freezes again, and it is stated in start task manager 'as not responding.
when i wanted to play games there's "X has stopped working", it occured when in the middle of the game or when the game launch. It was also occured with my Chrome, Modem, and even my anti virus. I've tried to config the DEP but, it's still not working. And for the games, i'm sure i have the minimum requirements

My computer is unable access my router. The power went out for a second and clearly that did something. I have an HP p7-1174 desk top, running Windows 7 Home Premium x64. The processor is an AMD A8-3800.
There are now several devices in the manager with yellow exclamation points, all relegated to the LAN. I get a Code 31, unable to load drivers message. I ran the sfc scan and there were no integrity violations. I tried updating drivers without any luck. My router is working fine because my laptop and iPad both work online.
The problem seems to be that Windows can't load the drivers for my 802.11n wireless LAN card. I tried updating drivers but it said the driver was up to date. I tried changing manually but the only two listed were the same and when I clicked one, it said Windows was unable to load.
Just recently I've been having some difficulties with an error that has shown itself on two programs so far, but no others. The first is Puush, and it's screenshot is here: Originally I thought my computer was having problems with just Puush, but I found another program that this happens to. It's FileHippo.com's update checker. Here is the screenshot of that one: I've tried everything I could think of, and everything I could find online. My next step I might try is to uninstall every .NET Framework on my PC, and then re-install.
Windows keep telling me that one of my programs has stopped working. Usually its either my windows gadgets that have stopped working or windows explorer. This message is also displayed with a few other programs.
without warning the avast program stopped working, Per their tech support I have to pay $119 to have then clean up my computer so the Avast Pro can work again. Something to do with incompatibility with windows 7 and several broken files on my computer.
After working flawlessly for a couple of years my hibernation now doesn't work: when I choose it, the screen goes blank and there is some hard drive activity but then it stops and just returns me to the screen I was on. Sleep still works perfectly. Two things happened before this: I installed a backup program called ShadowProtect (since uninstalled) and I had a couple of PC freezes due to a bad piece of software, which meant I had to a hard reboot.I ran Chkdsk at bootup to make sure the drive was all OK, which it was. I've also disabled and then re-enabled hibernation. I've looked at Event Viewer but I can't find any actual errors, and am not familiar with the program.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1.Have 7 standard users created in the User Accounts. Only 5 user icons displaying on welcome screen. All 7 users are required to and do have passwords set.Creating a new user does not add that new user to the welcome screen.Deleting a user does not move one of the other users onto the welcome screen..it reduced the number of user icons to 4.All users have valid User directories and if I force the login prompt instead of icons, they can login successfully. This happened about a week ago and may be the result of some software my son installed. Not sure. There is not an "Other User.." icon...just 5 valid user icons with 2 missing.
Recently my computer has been force closing applications like Photoshop and Windows Explorer. It usually happens when I right click in Explorer or try to open anything in Photoshop. When it happens, a dialogue box comes up that says "Windows Explorer has stopped working" or "Adobe Photoshop has stopped working" Under the details it displays this information:
Problem signature: Problem Event Name:APPCRASH Application Name:Explorer.EXE Application Version:6.1.7600.16768 Application Timestamp:4d688122
I was using my dell computer for 2 hours when the screen went to red and bluetriangles. After many days of messing with it I still get "display driver stopped responding and has recovered" message.
Im running Windows 7 Home on my laptop and some of my video editting software has been crashing and I get this error message."Display driver stopped responding and has recovered. Display driver NIVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 267.21 stopped responsing and has successfully recovered"Im running on the Alienware M14x, x64, 6GB RAM, quadcore processor.Video card is a Geforce GT 555M 1.5gb total video memory. It crashes when I am on Video Editting software like Adobe After Effects CS5.5.I have also noticed that my memoery usage goes up to like 85-90% which seems kind of weird. is it normal that my OS has 1.8gb on standby all the time?
When I try to download a printer driver I get the message 'cannot run program in DOS', together with pages of gibberish figures/letters. I am using Windows 7.
Is it possible to set the security level for certain programs, the "do you want this program to make changes to your computer" message is annoying to have to click on everytime I open a program.
Is this how it's supposed to be, or am I missing something here?
I have a new Lenova laptop running Windows 7 home Premium. I have loaded in a virtual type application and it was working fine. Earlier today when I tried to use it I got an error message, and it would not ru
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate x64. When I insert my Need for Speed Pro Street DVD into the drive (the drive is ASUS DRW-20B1LT), and right-click on DVD RW Drive E, the "Computer" window just freezes. Here's the description: A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows.

Is this Windows Explorer problem or Drive related? Or somesthing else?
I'm trying to install a program that has an updated patch. When I go to install the update I get an error message saying "program name (x86)...you don't have permission to save in this location contact your administrator to obtain permission. How do I get around this block. I did go into the admin setting nad played around with them but that didn't do anything. This is my computer and this account is the only one on there and it says Richard (me) is the admin so I should be able to put stuff where ever the I want. I am so sick of Windows 7 this is the worst version of windows yet. Can't we go back to MS Dos.
I recently updated from Vista to Win 7 (both 32-bit Home Premium). It was a simple upgrade, not a new install.
I've noticed with Windows 7 that when I go to do a shutdown, while the desktop is shutting down, it grays the screen and says a program is is not shutting down in a timely matter. I never saw that with Vista. It doesn't appear to tell me WHAT program is the issue. Also, it usually clears itself within a second or two, barely giving me time to check anything.
I've seen various WaitToKillApp and HungApp notes about speeding up shutdown. I'm not all that worried about making it shut down fast, but would like to know how I could find out WHICH program it is. If anything, I'd increase the time before it complains so it shuts down cleanly. I think older Windows would list the name of the program in a standard dialog box, but not this full-screen thing.
PS: I'm mixed on Windows 7. I've had to 'undo' alot of things and rely on 3rd party software like ShellFolderFix to get back 'power user' abilities.
trying to open my ATX 2012 Tax program and get the following error message Sfs.Max.Shell.Loader has stopped working, A problem caused the program to stop working correctly, Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.i have been trying for over a week
The program in question was Roxio Creator 2010. I restarted the computer to complete the process. An error message appeared " windows could not be started as CPSC Common Tools2 is missing...". I chose to cancel, but then the password request was on screen as normal, and everything seems to be OK.How can that be; do I need take further action?
Straight to the point of my issue,I opened :"Control Panel > Action Center > Maintenance tab > Right click at Privacy Policy".Then I received this error message,"There was a problem sending the command to the program.I'm not sure if I deleted something in the past that make this error occur.
