Acer Aspire 7540 running windows 7 64 bit. Option 515m dongle. Up until about a week ago this worked fine. In fact, it was faster than anything I'd had before, although it sometimes used to get quite warm. Then it started displaying the message "Internet Everywhere has stopped working" every now and then. For the past two days, every time I try to connect the same message appears.
ive been having a problem with internet explorer crashing since i bought my laptopim using ie9 and i keep getting the msg saying internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close (i appoligize if its not the exact words). than it closes all my programs down. i dont know if it has to do with another problem i have been having while playing facebook games and watching movies using flash player. right out of the blue my game or movie (whichever im doing) freezes than either says i need to update flashplayer or it just shows a big "!" were my game or movie should be.
There is a windows message coming up on the middle of the screen every 5 minutes or so, warning that the "Dell Support Centre" has stopped working and that it will look for a solution. So what can I do to disable this annoyance or even all the "Not working" warnings since they are useless to me anyway
While I am working in my computer, reading email or just working in a software program, I periodically get this message that Windows Explorer has stopped working (and then an explanation that it is trying to fix it). Then it continues with another message about trying to fix it and it closes the program.I don't know why this is happening but a lot of times I am in Windows Live Mail.I have Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit (built by my computer store (Dnet Computers). I didn't put the specs in because I wasn't sure what to put in.
I use Windows 7 64 Home Premium, and I have Microsoft office 2003 installed, where I use Microsoft Outlook for my main email address. In recent months, when I close down the outlook, a Microsoft pops up states 'Microsoft word has stopped working'. If the pop up isn't closed, for some reason Microsoft word opens up, and when I do need to open Microsoft word, this freezes and takes ages to open up, also on closing, it freezes again, and it is stated in start task manager 'as not responding.

My computer is unable access my router. The power went out for a second and clearly that did something. I have an HP p7-1174 desk top, running Windows 7 Home Premium x64. The processor is an AMD A8-3800.
There are now several devices in the manager with yellow exclamation points, all relegated to the LAN. I get a Code 31, unable to load drivers message. I ran the sfc scan and there were no integrity violations. I tried updating drivers without any luck. My router is working fine because my laptop and iPad both work online.
The problem seems to be that Windows can't load the drivers for my 802.11n wireless LAN card. I tried updating drivers but it said the driver was up to date. I tried changing manually but the only two listed were the same and when I clicked one, it said Windows was unable to load.
although Facebook runs ok ( I cant expand the chat though) I use WINDOWS 7 but when I want to use google it says ' interent has stopped working'. i have tried an earlier resolution but cannot find the RUN program- can you advice me where it is on the Start menu. Internet explorer has stopped working, Internet explorer is restarting.windows explorer has stopped working, windows explorer is restarting. I have emailed Microsoft 3 times and they have given me MANY things to try but I am a computer tech, so I had already tried them all.It is all over the internet so my computer details should not matter. It is ALL over the Internet about this problem and no one seems to know the answer.Of course, you can format but that is not a "fix" for it or how to stop it from happening.
I have a new laptop with windows 7 installed and Internet Explorer 9 being used.I have checked various options thats other have posted but they do not appear to be resolving the problem.Typical example f the problem....I get an email with a link, click and the link opens within browser. If the link then has a document witin it to open (I think they are PDF'S) the browser comes up with the following message:A problem caused prog to stop working - it then asks you to close the page.
I'm having problems with Windows, every time I open internet explorer, I get the message: "Internet Explorer has stopped working. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available". I click close or X on the notice and it just keeps popping up.....I have to restart my computer to stop it. I can only get to google chrome. How do I correct this....
My sister was on my laptop, when the screen froze, she pushed the power-off button to turn it off. When I tried to restart it later, there was this green screen giving me the option of making a backup or to restore. I chose to restore, and after that was completed, my computer would load normally, except now it says msn "stopped working" and when I go to my homepage (google) it loads normally, but when I tryto search something, it says Internet explorer stopped working and tells me to close the program.
I just ran combo fix and I need to understand my log results...keep getting a popup window that says: "internet explorer has stopped working" so I assume I have a worm/virus/bug...etc...
I was on my laptop on Friday and the internet would connect when I turned on my laptop. So I just thought I needed to retype the security key. Nope. So after that I reboted my router. (Sorry for my horrible spelling). That didn't work either. So I came here and saw a number of people had the same problem. I tried every thing pluging my laptop into the router, netsh winsock reset, disable and enable the network.
I have upgraded to Internet explorer 9 a long time ago. When it first came out as a matter of fact but now when I use ANYTHING that I want to print out (Like MapQuest.com)It will not print any more. I can fire up Fire fox and all printing works just fine. It didn't work even when I had didn't Fire Fox Installed. I just installed Fire Fox to try to see if it would work for my printing needs.why Internet explorer has stoped printing? Right after not printing the web page crashes also.
Suddenly internet has stopped working on my system Dell inspiron N5010. I tried installing Lan drivers for the above series but still its not workling.
I've been using TechTracker for years, but today I hit a wall with the VLC Player update from ver. 2.0.1 to ver. 2.0.2. I am using Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit system and have no problems with anything else. When the download from CNET ended, I got an error msg. saying the download failed. So, I opened up VLC Player, checked for updates, got the notice that a major update was available and downloaded it. When the download completed, VLC Player crashed and asked if I wanted to send in a crash report. I clicked on "Yes" and immediately got a new popup window saying that it failed to reach the FTP server.
had a virus last year with an underlying update problem. the virus got sorted but i was told the only way to sort the update was to reinstall windows. basically every time the laptop was turned off it was have to reinstall all the updates as they dont seem to save when it shuts off. i left it at the time as it was only 25 or so updates. it is now at over 90 updates and i am missing some security updates. when i try updating manually it comes up with code 80071A91-windows update encountered an unknown error.
i am using windows 7 with 2 gb ram and 500 gb hardisk. After booting up, in a few minutes it starts giving not responding message. I even could not start the task manager. In fact windows is stuck. I used to restart my system to continue my work
I have a Dell Inspiron 14 that I bought last April. The hard drive crashed before Christmas and I had to send it to Dell of replacement. Obviously all other software applications on the computer were gone when we got the computer back from Dell. I have since reinstalled all software using my last license to do so. Now I am having major issues with internet explorer giving me an "Object Error" on some websites. All indications I have to reinstall windows 7. How do I do this and not loose all of my other applications that are on this computer?
Recently my computer has been force closing applications like Photoshop and Windows Explorer. It usually happens when I right click in Explorer or try to open anything in Photoshop. When it happens, a dialogue box comes up that says "Windows Explorer has stopped working" or "Adobe Photoshop has stopped working" Under the details it displays this information:
Problem signature: Problem Event Name:APPCRASH Application Name:Explorer.EXE Application Version:6.1.7600.16768 Application Timestamp:4d688122
I was using my dell computer for 2 hours when the screen went to red and bluetriangles. After many days of messing with it I still get "display driver stopped responding and has recovered" message.
