If so how do I do that? Is "logmeinrescue" a bad program? Also can the following events be solved? A lot are from "Bonjour Service". Should I be worried about these?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm running Dell Inspiron 1525 Windows 7 64-bit and having problems with my beatuful dell touchpad, which works just fine except horizontal and vertical scrolling. I have already read some materials on the web and have downloaded of couble of useless stuff but the problems hasn't gone. I like my Dell Inspiron 1525, but the 64-bit drivers really suck.
On another partiiton I'm running SuSE and it looks much better than Windows 7.
I have a dell inspiron 1525 with 2gb ran dual core and i downloaded the upgrade advisor for windows 7 and it said that it has all the requirements to run windows 7 but I just want to make sure...
View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to do a clean installation of Windows 7 x86 on my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop that I bought in July 2008. It's been running Windows Vista 32-bit without any trouble. Yesterday I purchased the Windows 7 Professional 32-bit upgrade from Digital River and downloaded the ISO. I've burned it onto two separate DVDs using different software and a different computer each time (the second time I used Alcohol 120% and made sure that it was on the slowest setting). Now I'm downloading the iso again.
Each time I try to install it (which has been many times, now, trying different configurations of partitions, etc) I get the error message "Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x80070570"
I've read through just about every thread I could find on this site and others and nothing seems to help. The only thing I haven't done is mess with the RAM, but I'd prefer not to do that as I don't have any experience opening up laptops (although I have built three desktops).
Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?
are there any windows7 drivers available for dell inspiron 1525 ?

In the dell's web site isn't officially supported, but you can try with the vista drivers, sometimes are the same for win 7.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been a having a problem with my inspiron 1525 with windows 7 32-bit loaded on it. Whenever I play any DVD it either locks up the drive, explorer and the wait chain says that its waiting for network io or the playback comes out garbled. Usually this happens if I boot up the PC and then warm reboot it and the drive won't even eject. I have forced ejected it with a paper clip but explorer doesn't even recognize that it just finally starts to spin up the drive outside the pc. and an attempted bios update but that almost fried my motherboard but it flashed itself back to A13 from A17 automatically. the Drive I am using is pbds dvd+-rw ds-8w1p

View 2 Replies View RelatedI built myself a new PC and everything was running fine. Then I decided to change the graphics card from an ASUS Radeon HD 6770 to an ASUS Radeon HD6850 1GB.Upon restart and every restart since, the Aero effects do not work. At first I just figured I hadnt got the right drivers. Games were working fine so I left it alone. Now I've updated all the drivers to the latest ones from the ATI website, 12.4, but the Aero effects still do not work.

I just wanted to know how can my computer is able get windows aero support.
As i am not aware of using which type of graphics cards is supporting aero.
I am considering upgrading to Windows 7. My current system is Pentium D @3 GHZ w/2 GB ram. Win 7 upgrade advisor tells me my NVIDIA GeForce 7300LE will not support Aero. Any advice on what graphics card would be a good upgrade would be appreciated.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAs time goes on and a product catalog grows, it's not unusual for a company to reduce and eventually eliminate support for older products. In the case of ATI, AMD's graphics division, a new decision to reduce support for older graphics chips is about to take effect. To date, ATI has provided a new WHQL certified driver every month to nearly every graphics card capable of DirectX 9 acceleration. That includes cards all the way back to 2002's Radeon 9700 Pro. After this month's Catalyst 9.3 release, that will not be the case.
After Catalyst 9.3, products prior to the R6xx generation of graphics cards (that go by the Radeon HD 2000 series brand names) will be changed to "legacy support status." This means that these products will get quarterly WHQL driver updates, instead of monthly updates. AMD assures us that these products will still receive critical "hotfix" drivers if high-priority fixes are needed.
I am trying to setup dual monitors will the graphics card support that function:
Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family
