When I cange my buffer size and hit apply it goes back to the same number. Each time I try to something like a story or new clip it can only play a little at a time because buffer to small?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI made a mistake when installing Windows 7 on a 150GB hard drive which previously had three partitions.I formatted all three and chose to install the OS to a 75 gb partition.
Everything installed ok but I am 75 GB down on hard disc space.
Is there any simple ways to amalgamate the other 75GB partition to give me back my original size of 150GB?
Installed Virtual PC with WindowsXPMode. Seems to have gone fine but, when I start an application there, it appears in a very small window - too small to really use the application. In WindowsXP if you press Alt-Enter the application goes fullscreen but this doesn't work , neither does dragging the sides or corner.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have installed Windows 7 as a VM in vmware player (recommended by an acquaintance) so I could then run Adobe Lightroom as a windowed application in OpenSuse, I rather stupidly (it now appears) created the VM with a 15GB drive. When working with more than a coupe of images at a time I get out of memory errors in the VM, presumably due to the lack of free space for temp files in Lightroom and swap file usage. Is there an easy way to increase the VM drive or would it be simpler to delete the VM and set it up again with a larger drive.

View 11 Replies View Relatedi have got some problem on the mouse pointer, after start the windows, and run few minutes, the size of the pointer just changed bigger itself, i haven't do anything, just use my PC as normal (e.g. after restart just open firefox and get onto internet), but few minutes later it just become bigger, i have try to go to system to set the Scheme but it just stay the same. can anyone help?
p.s. i'm not sure about this, but seems this happened when i use firefox when i scroll up and down on it, it was fine yesterday, but today i had few changing on my PC, first is i have change my display card from 2600 pro to 5700, second is firefox updated to 3.5.5, i'm not sure whether those effect anything.

I reimaged my computer because I was having a whole bunch of trubble with it (no of which really matter now). After reimaging I tried to access some of the files I saved on my external hard drive, but no matter what I tried I could not get access to the files.The drive appears in device Manager and in the USB Device pages, and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drive. According to the FAQ on steam this is caused by a lack of paged pool memory which is reserved for apps like direct3d.
To get round this issue its recommended that you remove a line form the boot.ini which unlocks the page pool memory. The line is /3GB /Userva=2900
Does anyone know where this line is in windows 7 or how I can unlock the paged pool memory as I'm finding the crashes are starting to interfere with my enjoyment of gaming.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI purchased a 2TB Seagate GoFlex Desk External HDD and Windows did not auto-detect it.So I went under Device Manager and under Other Devices, the Seagate drive was listed with the yellow exclamation. It shows that the driver is not found. I had windows search online and it found nothing. The only way I know to get it back is to do a repair/restore of windows? I am afraid to do this as I have to much to risk losing. Is there any other way to obtain this driver. I plugged the device into another computer also running Windows 7 (only home not pro) and it auto-detected right away. So I know for sure the device works.My computer though is most definitely missing the driver.
