After deleting atdmt, IE9 stopped remembering all my logon information for all web pages. I have search the web for a solution but have not fixed the problem. I created a new user profile and it then remembered the logon info. Is there a way to copy all my old desktop icons and settings to my new user profile?

I have uninstalled IE8 reinstalled it, restored advanced settings and reset internet explorer it worked for a short while after i did this now its playing up again.I get the usual diagnose internet connection and of course ther is nothing wrong with it. I forgot to say its windows 7 pro I am running, I would update to IE9 but I hate it if only they kept the layout the same as IE8
View 4 Replies View Relatedi unable to signin my yahoo messenger, skype and even cannot load to yahoo mail website. but i still can surf other website normally. i noticed that some of the page that required password are unable to load. the will be an error that ask to check the intrnet conection. im using LAN connection. i tried to login yahoo mail, and signin skype and ym by using my friends pc in my home and i can login/singin without any trouble. we using the same internet connction.i already reformat my laptop cause i thought there is laptop problem. but there is still no luck. same problem still occur. i scaned my lappy with updated antvrus (btdefender) but no virus detected. i also tried unable the firewall in my system but no changed.

I had entered the proxy address a few times and have read on the web that this is server address. A Windows 7 HP 32bit.We can login locally i think to a local user KB_SUF/User (where KB_SUF is the name of the computer)however whenever the UAC comes up when installing anything, we cannot proceed because it keeps saying "There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request" The thing is they sent us the computer without removing it from the domain Now I cant install the programs i need to work and it doesnt seem like theres a local admin on this computer. I tried removing this computer from the domain but it requires going through UAC.Is there any way to make this computer a Local only PC?The company that sent us the computer is in another country and they say they can send someone over in 6 months which is longer than i can wait.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI ripped my personal CD collection to .WAV as I have the space and thought it was best quality. I used WMP. Everything ripped fine for a while, the first song of each album kept 'losing' its track information. I would use the Find Album Info feature of WMP to fix this. Track info currently displays perfect in Windows Media Player Library or when browing using Windows Media Center. However, if I view the files in Windows Explorer, or use another program like Winamp to play the files (which i generally prefer), the first track of all my ripped CDs in WAV format has no track information, Unknown Album, title, even tho' it displays fine in WMP Library. I cannot EDIT the track in Windows Explorer, and I can't find a track editor freeware that supports .WAV.

When I right click on an icon on the desktop, I have less choices than normal (cannot rename, deletesee properties, ect). I cannot see anything in my control panel, my computer folder shows up, however there are no words, just pictures.
