I have recentley purchased a desktop with windows 7 on it. Going down the programs I found one I did not recognise and deleted it,now my games wont start and probabley theres more. I think it was something to do with 3D devices,but I am not sure

I know under the properties you have "Store and display recently opened programs in the Start menu", but this is what controls both.
I'm figuring theres probably some registry entry that will let me control them individually.
I noticed that there were 2 program files folders. After installing a few programs, I noticed they were all going to X86 folder, so I thought this was an install error on the shipping companies part, and deleted the unnumbered program files folder. Is there a way to fix my messup ? will it affect performance ?

And all my files recognize as virus. I just think in that time maybe I install bad program and in there is virus. I remember that virus was: $e. So I just done mistake and delete them. After that I open folder and all my photos and documents was damage.
Kaspersky not have option BackUp my deleted virus. I try Restore point and no luck. So what I use Recovery programs. I try 3. But only from one I get files back. So my question is, can I recover my files with program or with other option? Or This is it and I not have any option recover? Here is one photo how look recovered files. And two files I give in here.
I downloaded Adobe Photoshop (Portable) and installed it. Then I wanted to change the location where it was saved. I tried to move it but it couldn�t be moved so I copied and pasted it into a new location. I know I should uninstall but since I just wanted 1 copy, I deleted one. After that, most of the other Adobe programs were affected. When I opened some, they would say that some files are missing or my license has expired. Some started asking for serial number or to register.When I opened Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 it said Photoshop Elements Help was missing and there were missing icons on the right side. I uninstalled and reinstalled the programs. I downloaded some but they can�t be installed. It always says some files are missing.

1) Since i didn't back up my encryption key, where is the original one located? (if i use some recovery program to restore it)

3) I remember the password i used to encrypt the files, so can i just make a new encryption key and kind of import it to my present windows to decrypt those files?
4) Does "Advanced EFS Data Recovery" or some other encryption key recovery tool work for my problem?
I am scanning docs to my inbox. I then open, rename and save to a specific folder. My old computer used to remember the path I chose after the 1st time. Now I have to select the directory, then go through several folders & subfolders to get to the correct folder every time . This is very time consuming. Can I set it so that the path is remembered and takes me directly to the folder?

The problem is that I do not have a password on my computer and windows 7 is constantly trying to login to the network share with the username and no password on each boot. I have to manually enter my username and password each time I boot and the "remember the password" checkbox doesn't work.One solution is to have a VBScript remove the network share and readd it using the username and password on each boot, but I wonder if there is a more elegant way of doing it than that?

I don't mind autoplay, it's not that I want it disabled. I just want it to remember my choice. I always choose 'open explorer to view files' but the choice is forgotten next time, and there's no checkbox to remember it. Found this tool for XP, might it work on 7?

I have to manually assign the drive latter everytime i plug in the drive in disk management. Its not a big issue but a bit irritating what should i do?

have to enter it at every start up.
I have an ad-hoc wireless connection set up on my Verizon XV6800 phone. I am able to connect to it and use the internet with no problem; however, Windows 7 will not remember the connection. Every time I restart the computer I have to click the network SSID on the list and choose "Connect" and the it prompts me for the network key. (It remembers the connection settings for a regular wireless network properly.)
