Dec 14, 2012I create a DVD from mp4 digital downloads. They play on the computer but not on a stand alone DVD player. The DVD I do create, contain two folders named Audio_TS and Video_TS. Only the Video_TS contains any data, the Audio_TS folder is empty. Some of the [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue ! important]digital [COLOR=blue ! important]videos[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR] are in two parts. I edit them a bit and then join them together before burning them. I suspect I need some kind of autorun scripts installed also that will start the DVD automatically. Will anybody recommend, preferably. a [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]freeware[/COLOR][/COLOR] program that will do the job? Incidentally, I am burnig to DVD+RW disks

I ran the Microsoft FixIt application but it did not resolve the problem. Fresh install of windows 7. Brand new cdr's. Also, when I insert a blank CD, it doesn't show up in My Computer, however if I insert a CD with data on it(or music), it shows up. Also should point out I have VirtualCloneDrive installed.

Mar 10, 2011I can't seem to play DVD's using Windows Media player. I get this "Windows Media Player cannot play DVD video. You might need to adjust your Windows display settings. Open display settings in Control Panel, and then try lowering your screen resolution and color quality settings." I thought maybe it was my video driver, however, I rolled it back and it still didn't work. I installed the K-Lite mega codec pack, but that didn't work. However, the Media Player Classic which got installed with the codec pack works, although I don't really like the program. VLC wasn't working either, however, I reinstalled that and it's working fine now. I'm just curious as to why my media player won't play dvd's. It's the program that I usually used to play DVD's.
