The following issues are preventing Windows from upgrading. Cancel the upgrade, complete each task, and then restart the upgrade to continue.
Windows needs to be restarted so necessary changes to system files can be made before continuing.
For these items, make the following changes: Uninstall these programs. Open Control Panel and search for "uninstall a program". CxVCap, Video Capture Driver
while trying to upgrade windows7 with new version. i saw on net that some people have the same problem, but no solution.
well the problem was in my tv card (or it can be with some other capture device).
i solved it by manually deleting sys files from system32/drivers that are related to my tv card. in my case it was cxavsvid.sys (with mouse over you can see file description) and after that it worked!
it seems so simple but after hours and hours searching for solution and trying everything, uninstalling drivers, apps, cleaning drivers, finnally i tried this and it worked.
i tried the hands on driver in the russian website but it didn't work. pls. send me a link or something...
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am having trouble running the ComproDTV 4 on Windows 7 RE, build 7100.Windows Media Center has no problem showing all channels but ComproDTV won't run. It comes up with a message saying "No Video capture device found, please reinstall the driver again".I reinstalled the driver again, this time from Compro's website, still get the same message. I know the E700's driver is working but why ComproDTV won't run. I like the app because i can share the recorded filew it in native form with PS3.ComproDTV4 is not picking up the TV tuner card.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI could hold down the Fn key, a large black bar with symbols in it would drop down from the top edge of the screen, I never paid much attention to what was in that, but then I would hit the Prtsc button. Then when I pasted it into Paint, it was ONLY the active window. Now when I hit the Fn key, the black bar does not drop down and when I hit the Prtsc button the entire screen is copied, not just the active window. I really want this ability back. Any ideas on how to get it to function againmorlaine morlaine has chosen the best answer to his/her question.Click here to view the answer that was selected.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to capture screen flow in video or image on windows 7 64 bits system, with NVidia Quadro 600 graphic card (driver is up to date). I use lib vlc for video capture, or "print screen" button for image capture. When I try to capture a fullscreen opengl application, or a QML application, or WPF application, the captured image is black. It seems that graphic card content can't be acquired. It is the same for each computer which is under windows 7. This manipulation worked on windows XP.
Question:
What are the changes on screen capturing between windows XP and windows 7?
Is there any option to activate in system?
Is there any software which could work (with an API)?

i usually record PC games using fraps and it got me thinking to how do people record console footage and then put it on the computer. The problem is i dont know the first thing about gaming capture cards and how they work, i do know however that some of them are PCI cards.
1. if a console is connected to a T.V how is the footage captured from the console to a PC?
2. Does using capture cards also provide audio or do you need certain cables (3.5 jacks, hdmis, etc)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am curious, Mac's have a feature I saw someone at work use where you can capture a screen shot by dragging out a square (I think they used Cmd+Shift+4 or something) and saving the image inside the square as a capture - Does Windows 7 have anything like that? Or is there an app I can download to allow me to do that?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI upgraded from XP to 7 about a year or so ago, and just noticed that the few home DV videos I captured since then were in AVI format, and about 12 GB each, compared to the former ones on XP which were WMV and not quite 1GB each. I have tried in vain to set the automatic capture on Windows Movie Maker to WMV as default, but it doesn't seem to allow it. These AVI files are just too big for my storage space over time.
