I have a HP Compaq CQ57 notebook that came with windows 7 starter. I installed Win 7 Ultimate but when I try to install the drivers, it say that the computer does not meet the minimum specifications. I think it is something that I have not loaded because it gives this error with every driver, even the wireless network driver

Specs of this PC:
Cyrix MII @ ~300 MHz
768 MB (256 x 3) 100 MHz SDRAM (not DDR) ATI Rage 128 AGP graphics card
80 GB SATA HDD (upgraded, with PCI card for the SATA)
I put the specs of most concern in bold. As for the video card, I can upgrade that if need be. What I'm really wondering is... can the Cyrix II even process the instructions for Windows 7 (albeit extremely slowly, of course) or is its instruction set simply too old?
i have installed win7 on my mgs one notebook and the vga and the network drivers are not installed. i have downloaded them and when i tried to install them, it saying that '' this computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software''. i have try my best but nothing happen. The thing is that the machine was running win7 before and it gave some error when i have compressed the system disk c. i have also the drivers cd for the machine the one that was with the machine when i bought it.

Then, just now, I got this other message saying this process couldn't be ignored any longer along with these specifications: proces-id=0xd00 (3328), thread-id=0x1d90 (7568). Giving me the options to terminate this process or to cancel. This is seriously bugging me as my anti virus couldn't find anything either.

I can do this very easely, but i can't add data corresponding the columns to a file.The goal is to have a list of different file-types like word, excel, pdf, ... in one folder. Those files have to contain the information corresponding the columns, e.g.:"A.1.1 _ P090402/1 _ title of the original file _ 27/06/1950 _ CocaCola _ windows-name _ mail etc".this seems to be impossible because every file is different: the one let you insert one of the specifications (but often not all...), the other doesn't accept changes (like pdf).
This happened after I installed Comodo firewall. I'm not sure if that is relevant though. Anyway, I tried running the command "sfc /snannow" in the command prompt (in admin mode) but to no avail even after I restarted the system. Also, I can no longer create a system restore point manually. Which when clicked "create a restore point", they will show me these errors.

Runs quite well, even with glass on and MSE running in the background.Now, my mom needs her computer reformatted. It's currently running Windows XP, and I wonder if it can make the jump to 7: Celeron 1.2 GHz (I do believe it's a Tualatin, though; if it is, that makes it as good or better than Pentium 4 Willamettes) 512 MB PC133 SDRAM, and some newer nVidia PCI card.Can it manage it? After upgraded into Windows 7, I still can play the game normally, but after reinstall the game in the same Partition, i meet this problem when playing DotA Allstars in Garena. When I try to turn it on a cmd window opens and ofter a couple of minutes I get a white screen with big red letters saying Error. At the top I can read: "BCDEdit display order default meet error!!" I've tried to fix this problem with my Windows 7 Installation DVD but automatic repair won't work. I've also tried some cmd lines: Bootrec commands can't find any Windows Installation Disk part List Disk shows: "there are no fixed disks to show" I'm really desperate trying to fix this, i used me notebook for 2 weeks only.

According to the system (after fist shrink) the c drive is 204gb free of 295gb, but I can't shrink it further. I've done a disc clean up and emptied the recycle bin. What can I do to shrink this to a minimum?
