Change An Email Address From One Computer To Another?
Feb 5, 2013
how to change my new email address over to the old computer ..the older computer still has the previous email address on it Now that server has closed so I need to rid the old computer of the old email address?
The husband uses Windows Live as his email client and the wife uses direct Road Runner. They both use the same computer.hen the husband tries to send email to his wife's email acct, she never receives it.Yet he can send emails to me and I am a Road Runner email address. So I know that his Windows Live is set up correctly. His wife's email is working fine directly through Road Runner as she can send and receive emails.SO... Seems to me the issue has something to do with using the same computer and he never signs out of Windows Live. (I personally use Outlook as I am a business and am not familiar with Windows Live)
Someone is sending spam from my e-mail address to my e-mail contacts. I only know this because people are asking and some e-mail are being returned as not delivered. I don't use a password, but I guess it's too late for that now.I recently started using Thunderbird for my e-mail. I was using Yahoo.
when I send an email to this certain address it comes back with the following error message.host cds056.dcs.int.inet[10.0.122.44] said: 552 5.2.2 Over quota (in reply to end of DATA command)windows 7 pro, windows firewall, MSE, windows live mail.
So for about a week now some guy has been calling my wife and when she answers he does not talk, just breathes into the phone. ( obviously this started to scare her ) then she had a guy at her work answer when he called again, this time he just hung up no breathing into the phone.A few minutes latter she gets an email.[Title: Phone Etiquette "Rule # 1It is impolite to have someone else answer the phone for you."/]is email is from gmail and it seems gmail does not include the ip address in the header. I've also tried the reverse look up for the phone numbers ( it's been 2-3 diff numbers all (210) 353-XXXXIs there a way to get the ip address from a gmail account or find name/address of the phone number ( they are land lines not cell )
Every time I go to set someone up with a live mail account and use their in existing email address the wretched program will not accept the address they already have and keeps requesting that it has to be set up as a hotmail one. If I ask it to use their own address it comes with some rubbish aboout being in anaothe domain or something. Am absolutely sick of this program why in the name of reason cannot the damn thing just accept the persons existing address. I mean no one wants to start letting everyone else a new address to send to them especially if they have a lot of contacts. I set my own up so what is the go with it now and this one and only feature makes cleaning up someones machine a nightmare.
I use Windows Live Mail Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3538.0513)
Wanted to forward an email and clicked on the To box. I got the following message:
"none of your contacts have an email address defined".Then tried to send a regular email and got the same situation.I obviously need to get all my email addresses back. What happened and how do I correct the issue?
Will all my current rules apply to the mail I receive at present from different people after they have updated there info with my new address? Or will I have to delete the rules and start again as and when I receive the mails? I am thinking probably the latter will apply though.
does anyone know a way to copy or export outlook autocomplete email address's (the address comes up automatically as you type the first few letters) form a computer with xp with outlook 2003 to a windows 7 computer with outlook 2003?
I have a 91-year old senior citizen friend who lives several miles from me, and his kids just bought him a new computer with Windows 7. He was used to using the Outlook Express (?) on his old Windows XP machine, but now he doesn't have his old e-mail address book.
I'm wondering if there is a way somebody could go over there and cable up his old computer to the new one and import his old e-mail address book into the new computer (dumb question, I know) some where. Right now, he is using his Verizon web-mail for e-mail, and if he had the old address book imported to the new computer, perhaps there's a way to export it to the Version web-mail?
Here's what I want to do: I probably type my email address 50 times a day (kind of long address) to log in to email, online shopping log in, forums, etc. Is there any way to simply click in the box where it wants my email address and do a right click (or something quick like that) and be able to create a selection list with email addresses or login names and I simlply just click on it to fill in the email address/login field? It doesn't have to be exactly that method, I'm just looking for some way to keep my email address on a permanant clipboard so I can just select it or do a keyboard shortcut to fill in email address fieldAnyone have any ideas? Seems like a fairly simple request so I have to believe there is someway to do this.
Using Windows 7 Home Prem; latest version. When I look in my "Contacts" I see "Ed Wiens" ONCE only. When I compose a new email, I see "Ed Wiens" TWICE; once is his current addy and once for his old addy. I need to delete the old one but it won't show in the Contacts to be deleted. How can this happen and how can I delete the old one?
I have a specific email contact who can be reached directly through my Gmail on Google but every time I send directly from Outlook 2010 the email dies as "Invalid Recipient". This applies even if I am replying to a received email from that person so it is not a typo or similar personal error and it is the only contact which behaves like this.
Is it possible to have say a 3 key sequence that will write out your password or e-mail. Saving the need to type, my pass word are pretty long and can become hectic if you need to type them out a few times. But is it possible ?
When multiple accounts are added on Outlook 2010 and you create a new email, autocomplete in the 'to' field shows suggestions from every account. Is it possible to only show suggestions relevant to the account the email is being sent from. For example, if I had my personal account and a customer services account, when I go to send an email from my personal account, every email address who has ever communicated with the customer services account shows which is quite risky.
I really want to change my ip address. Not the ipv4 one, but the actual one e.g. the one when i go to [URL].I am Running Virgin Media Broadband, and recently got a brand new Hub [URL] along with a new ip and i was told that it is "dynamic". But if i reboot it etc it still stays the same? what can i do to change it? im on Windows 7... and im on a laptop with wireless.
