Memory has been testing using program from [URL].I'm trying to install Windows 7 64-bit.I built another machine with the same motherboard, processor and RAM which works fine. The differences being between the two machines the Harddisks and Graphics card.On the machine Im having problems with I have two Seagate ST32000542AS 2TB setup as RAID harddisks and a Gigabyte graphics card.Windows 7 installs but after the first boot from the HDD it displays "Starting Windows" and then resets or displays the blue crash screen. I tried running in safe mode list drivers as it is booting. After disk.sys is loaded the computer freezes.Ive tried using the latest AMD RAID drivers from the gigabyte website for this motherboard during the installation, but now Im starting to think this maybe a graphics card driver problem are there any known issues with the Gigabyte graphics card Im using and Windows 7?Is there a way of loading the Graphics card driver automatically.
I installed windows 7 on a fresh, quick formatted Ocz Agility 3 hard drive. Everything worked fine until first reboot then during checking of register files it rebooted and got error bootmgr missing. What can be the cause of this?I tried repair with the install disk, and when the repair console searches for windows 7 versions it find two versions one with zero size and the other 110000 something bytes.I tried bootrec/ScanOs, no Os shows up maybe reflecting the zero size version. How can i resolve this issue?
I recently had a virus on my computer and did a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate. Now it seems that randomly my processes will stop responding, usually if I have a couple things running at once. I cant seem to burn a DVD because every time it will crash during it. Usually when it happens all the processes wont respong, task manager wont come up and a couple minutes later my system restarts. I have run a memtest and it turned up with no errors.
One of the schools we work in uses a resource called Primary Resources. It includes downloadable files that can be used for teaching. Here is a link:Primary Resources: English: Word Level: Spelling & PhonicsThe teaches are trying to download the .DOC files on the web page but they are getting a popup in IE to save saying the file may be corrupted. In the background word crashes and has a box saying "Word cannot close because there is an active dialog box open". You then have to end the process to be able to use word again.
I built a brand new PC and installed XP on it fine. I want to give Windows 7 a shot - but I cannot get it installed. When I boot the windows 7 loader loads fine and stars the process, I get the nice blue picture background that says Loading - then I get this error 1 2..It is a Samsung Drive, model TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S223C - I cannot find drivers for it I think they are generic but I can find firmware and have installed the latest versions.
I have a new Dell Precision T3400 which the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor says I can run the 64 bit version of Windows 7 on.I am running XP pro 32 bit version on it. Dell told me I would need to run my 64 bit disc by hitting F12 when rebooting to boot to the disk. The computer then asks me if I want to run from my array or from a usb or cdrom. I choose the cdrom and then is says it cannot start from that drive or some such error. Dell and I did these things:made sure the dvd was an option as a boot drive in Setup.Updated the bios on the drive and the computer itself. this did not work so they replaced the dvd drive. It still will not boot the disk. I tried my xp disk, and the computer WILL boot from it. Dell said its the disk.

I recently completed a clean install of Windows 7 on my laptop (Toshiba Satellite l655-s5150). However, I am unable to update my drivers as my computer cannot identify most of my hardware. Under device manager it has "Other Devices" listed as "Ethernet Controller", "Network Controller", and "PCI Simple Communications Controller". All three have a yellow exclamation mark next to them and Manufacturer: Unknown.

1. Look/search the computer to see what patches are installed
2. After it searches the computer to see what patches are installed and missing, it will automatically install the missing patch

I purchased Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit about a year ago and finally decided to install it on one of my systems. It installed without any problems however, when I tried to set it up for the classic view, (which is the way I like to see my files and folders,) I couldn't find the way to set the classic view up.Then, I tried to install files into a game I installed but Windows 7 would only let me install them alphabetically and I was not able to install them randomly. Is there a way, and how do I set Windows 7 up to look the way I want it too and install the files the way I want them to install?

I am attempting to install Windows 7(32) onto my computer (currently running Windows Vista32). I have been unable to do so because the setup claims that I have no harddrives in which to install windows. It will not detect them during the installation process.
The compatibility check states that my computer is capable of running Windows 7(32) I am curious if there is anything I could do to get the installation to detect my harddrive.
My computer specs are:

Ok, i built a "whitebox" for a friend at work and they wanted to windows 7 64bit. So, i built the machine and have been trying to figure out how to get it to recognize the HD for the past 4 hours... mainly thanks to Samsung for making impossible to find drivers on their website for the Spinpoint F1 HD102UJ 1TB hard drive and i am also having problems finding drivers from the Gigabyte website... Anyway, suggestions? I gone through all the suggestions about checking the BIOS for RAID settings, but there is only 1 drive in this machine.
Furthermore, after trying to find the drivers online for about 2 hours...i ended up reformatting the drive from the utility disk that samsung had on their website..
I just switched form Win 7 32 bit to 64 bit. I performed a backup and was able to get 64 bit installed and working properly, however I can't find my backup of MS Office 2010.I've looked through my backup and also Windows old file and can't seem to find it. Will I have to reinstall Office from the disk?
