Aug 18, 2012Can't find DVD driver for new Windows 7 install. During initial Windows 7 setup, it says it needs a DVD driver but I can't find one for my Samsung SH-222BB/RSBS.

Sep 1, 2010I have computer with Phoenix award bios utility v1.3 (945 platinum w7176ims v1.3). Im trying to install windows 7 but I keep getting "a required cd/dvd drive device driver is missing." this is after I press install now. Im stuck in select the driver to be installed window. I have 2 hdd 1 is 500gb and the other is 130gb. I try to browse and select the c drive or the d drive.

Apr 10, 2011I am attempting to install Windows 7(32) onto my computer (currently running Windows Vista32). I have been unable to do so because the setup claims that I have no harddrives in which to install windows. It will not detect them during the installation process.
The compatibility check states that my computer is capable of running Windows 7(32) I am curious if there is anything I could do to get the installation to detect my harddrive.
My computer specs are:
Nvidia GTS 450
Intel Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz
4.00gb Ram
Dell XPS720
PLDS DVD+RW DH-16A6S SCSI CdRom (driver up to date)
I attempted to format my C: as well, as per a friends suggestion, and was unable to do so recieving an error message stating "system partition is not allowed to be formatted" . I do not recall partitioning my system.

I performed a backup and was able to get 64 bit installed and working properly, however I can't find my backup of MS Office 2010.I've looked through my backup and also Windows old file and can't seem to find it. Will I have to reinstall Office from the disk?

When installing Windows you obviously get to the aprt where you need to load the floppy drivers to locate the drives...
I have downloaded ever driver from the Gigabyte support drive and loaded them onto a USB, not one driver can be seen when the USB is "Browsed" too...
How important is it that the drivers are on a floppy, as I do not have a floppy drive or access to a floppy and drives. Also what driver should be downloading as I tried the 3.2.1540.17 one and that was not seen, so I just downloaded them all in an attempt for success.

The installation works for a few minutes but then it tells me that Windows can't find the driver for the DVD drive, an LG GH22NS50 DVD Writer, and prompts me to browse for it. The driver is supposed to be plug'n'play, so there's no CD and I can't find it online. I don't know how the installation has worked at all without the driver, but I seemingly can't get past this point without pointing Windows to a driver.

Windows Could Not Find Driver For Network Adapter
Dec 29, 2012I recently installed Windows 7 x64 onto my PC where I run my internet to it via an ethernet cord. Trouble being, the PC doesn't read a network adapter and I cannot connect to the internet to do a DriverTuner search for updates, etc. I've got a CPU of AMD Phenom II X6. Would their website best to check? I've browsed it and cannot find anything on it, and anything I can burn to a disk to try to run from this laptop I'm on over to my PC requires internet connection to scan for the necessary missing devices.
