In windows 7 , whenever i open the images and rotates it any direction , it shows as " saving", but the images are not present in the respective direcotry, , i am not able to view the images after making changes.Kindly let me know in windows 7 where does all the images gets saved.

I also use the Virtual PC for XP.I am the administrator.I have a "Guest" login and I would like to restrict access to programmes and files within the admin area. I presume this is possible but after searching I am not able to find the solution.

I am constantly moving screens between monitors, but instead of dragging them "from one monitor" to "the other" in a straight motion, I have to drag in the opposite direction, away from the second monitor, to have it appear there.
Okay, petty I know, but it drives me nuts!
Anyone know where the setting is located?
I am running two windows machines, 7x64 in a LAN using Groups. They both have static IP's. If I transfer a file from one machine to the other, the rate is over 100MB per second which is very good. Going the other way, it slows to only 16KB per second.PS: Firewalls and AV turned off.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI imported my photos from my SDCard to my PC using Picasa 3, and everything was going smoothly... until I tried to take a look at the photos! all of the photos that I've imported using this method for some reason all became greyed out! Viewing them on Picasa3, all you can see is a grey rectangle, in place of the photos. However, when using the windows explorer folder, i can see that the photos were imported correctly (it's not just a grey box, but the actual photos), but when I try to open it (using any program: Paint, Picasa3, etc), it is still a grey rectangle instead of the photos. I tried to upload the image and send it via email, and I get the same result.In my mistake, I chose to "delete the uploaded photos after uploading" option..it's my vacation photos from Croatia I'm not sure if there were any errors when I imported it... i stepped out for a bit while I was waiting for it to import. I looked around my SD card, and looked at the "Lost.dir" folder, and copied all of what's in there.I did use Glarysoft to recover the images, and I'm using a Windows 7 laptop as my computer. Also, are there other alternatives? I did save the lost.dir with all of the photo files in it, both in my SD Card, and on my laptop.

I tried to move the photo folders & files from "My Pictures" to "Pictures" but Window's geniouses did not give us that option. I do not need to click to "My Pictures" since they are ALL MY pictures. So are we stuck with this decision or is there a way which I can get rid of 1 of the folders? Same with "Documents" & "Videos".

View 4 Replies View RelatedI started out thinking it was only an IE issue, but now I know I have something else going on. In applications using some unknown software, pictures do not display. This includes internet explorer and some other software also(H&R Block tax software for example). Strangely, I downloaded Chrome after I had the issue and it works flawlessly. The problem appears to be a windows based issue not an Internet Explorer issue. I have chased firewalls, anti virus software and checked boxes and nothing seems to be wrong.

As far as I can tell, it changes my background at 1pm and 1am everyday. But what I want to do is to choose the time it changes, e.g., 8pm and 8am. Does anyone know if this is possible?

I had no problem in the past but all of a sudden it's only alllowing me this one.I have tried clearing /cookies/cache all the stuff others said to do and it's not working. Should I let the store where I purchased it look at it? I'm still under warrenty. I don't want to have to use Paint Shop to do each and every photo. Please help. I thought it will fix itself, but it hasn't what can I do to fix it??? an exaple of what is happening is that my movies and pictures used to show in the folder before you opened it and now it doesn't. I am unable to send pictures or documents in Windows Live Mail. I can select to pictures and select e-mail. I get the dialog box but when I hit add it just goes blank. Windows Live Mail is my default e-mail program. I am running windows 7, 64 bit.

I take hundreds of pictures and its really important to me to be able to re-organize them within the same folder in the order I need and then rename them within that folder. I have found threads with info on downloading and making the windows allow you to do this, and have tried for hours. I'm either doing something wrong, or its not working. I have the newest version of home premium and maybe that's the problem. My computer is a Toshiba Satellite L775-S7352.
