Why Windows 7 Computer Cannot Read Photo Canon Memory Card
Jun 28, 2011
I have a Canon PowerShot SX210IS & a HP Photosmart C5180 All-in-one. The memory card from the camera is not recognized by the printer nor does it show on the "Device Menu" of My Computer (Windows 7). Have no trouble with any of my other SD cards from any other cameras (I have another Canon as well). I can download from the camera with a USB but not directly from the card.
Have a micro SD card. I keep getting memory card read error. I have many pic's on there I still want. There has got to be some type of program out there to retrieve them with this error.
Every time I upload photos to my external drive using windows live photo gallery, when I move the external drive to another computer, I can't read the files due to some sort of default read protection placed on the uploaded files. I can't figure out how to make photo gallery make all the photos un-readonly.
how to download music from my computer to a memory card to put the music on my cell phone i need step by step instruction ..I have tried to do it alone but no luck?
When i connect the first USB Stick (1 GB Kingston) everything it's ok, it shows up in Explorer, but when i try to connect the other one (i have two) it wont show up, but i can access it if i just type the drive letter in the address bar (J:).Also if i try to connect my phone as a USB device or any other memory stick, same problem...not showing up in Computer window.
All of the sudden, I cannot view any (and I've tried many) images using Windows Photo Viewer. When I double click on an image, Photo Viewer pops up with the following message:"Windows Photo Viewer can't display this picture because there might not be enough memory available on your computer. Close some programs that you aren't using or free some hard disk space (if it's almost full), and then try again."First off, I have never been even close to low on ram or disk space at any point I have tried to view an image, and in the past I could be running SolidWorks with huge assemblies open, and I could have large images open in viewer without a problem. (is this really just more of a bug?) I saw some "solutions" regarding settings in color management, but none of them worked. The only other thing that might be relevant is, I do frequently plug the HDMI output into my TV, during which it switches to just a solo monitor output to the TV. I still get the same error when using the TV though. And in case it matters, I'm running 64 bit Windows 7 on a Samsung RC512 with 6G of ram and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M.
I changed from Vista to Windows 7 32 bitMy Gateway model MD7329u laptop now does not display under My Computer, the Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo camera card when insterted into the Gateway card reader slot.
Can anyone please let me know how the one may read files from virtual memory(pagefile.sys)? Is there a software to read all files from this file in human readable form?
i turned on bitlocker on my a-data flash memory and after a couple of days turned it off but after that the flash is read only and im unable to format it or delete anything and i cant even turn the bitlocker on again on it
well it seems windows 7 x64 doesnt like old programs anymore despite numerous attaempts at repatching one of my favourite old games i cant seem to get it to work since an update caused me 2 BSOD in a row, the game is legacy of kain 1 and as far
When I try to go to my computer I get an error (explorer.exe - application error. The instruction at 0x774bc5f7 reference memory at 0x48e44c59. The memory could not be read.) I ran my norton 360 scan and malwarebytes scan and no virus/spyware detected. Also I ran memtest to see if my rams were bad and everything seems find. I also try to do a system restore and it fails too.
My hdd started showing bad sectors, so I bought a new drive to install windows. I disconnected the old drive, connected the new one, plopped in my GENUINE, bought from the store Windows 7 disc and set the dvd drive to boot first in my bios menu. The computer just kept asking me to insert bootable media, so I plugged my old drive back in, so at least I'd have a computer. I tried accessing the dvd from My Computer, but it says to inset a disc. So I tried another disc. The dvd read the other random disc without issue. I checked device manager, drivers are updated, no errors to troubleshoot. Tried the Windows dvd, and again, I got "please insert disc."There are no apparent scratches on my windows dvd that would render it unreadable. It was in its case, there's no reason for it to get damaged, and it's not that old. I actually used the same disc in the same drive to repair a windows problem only a few weeks ago.
Recently, when I inserted my phone memory card in my laptop, Windows 7 asks me to format my NOKIA Micro SD card before I could use it. My problem is all my data such as contacts and msgs are all in the m. card and when I insert it back into my phone (Nokia N80) it hangs right away and stops responding as well. When eject the card, ny phone becomes fine. I know enough to understand that the card has some form of virus. Unfornately, I badly need the data in it.
I'm trying to reformat my computer with the original windows 7 disk but i'm having issues. when i insert the disk and i go to "My Computer" it doesn't show up as a windows 7 disk and has no folders or files when i 'explore' it. i checked the device manager and it shows the dvd rom is working fine, i updated the driver anyways and it said it was already up to date. after i tried rebooting the computer and it doesn't give me the option to 'press any key to start disk' that it normally does. i went into bios and set it to where the dvd rom was first priority followed by the hard drive (nothing), then made it the only priority with all others disabled. it then said "insert disk and press enter", i pulled the disk out then put it back in but it won't boot. i made sure the disk drive was working by inserting another disk in it and it worked fine and booted up and everything. then i tried putting the windows 7 disk into another computer i have and it also booted up normally and worked fine.
Is there any photo editing software comparable to the old Adobe PhotoDeluxe. I have tried Gimp, Picasso and paid for other versions of Adobe. None are as user friendly and have the editing tools that PhotoDeluxe had.
