What If I Don't Have Processor With Intel VT Supported ?
Dec 31, 2009
My processor doesn't seem to have Intel VT support. I checked it by going to BIOS and I didn't see Virtulisation option there. It confirms that my processor doesn't support Intel VT right?
another question - what will I lose if I don't have VT in my laptop? My ultimate aim is to run Win Server 2008 R2 x64 in my laptop along with existing Win 7 Home Premium x64. How can I do that? Can somebody please help me in this regard?
My Windows 7 is getting freezed and also, giving blue screen memory dump errors sometimes, whenever I use M-audio Oxygen 61 with FL studio and sometimes, even during the run of FL studio 10 or Cubase... mine is 32 bit and with 4 GB... The processor is Intel and I use Yamaha external audio interface...Do you think it is the problem with the processor.. Also it happens when I browse..it happens intermittently
I bought a new Acer Aspire V3 laptop last week, with the new intel processor. Using it only for 3 days, it started to crash (blue screen). Can you help me please?I have attached the BSOD dump and the system health report. Here is the spec of my pc: x64 bit - windows OS - came pre-installed on system (OEM ) - What is the age of system (hardware)? just a week. What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) NO, it come pre-installed, and I didn't reinstall it.
I have Dell inspiron 1464 with windows 7 64 bit ultimate version..I got 4GB ram @2.13 Ghz..But still GTA san andreas running slow on my laptop...It's running good for first 10 minutes...But after it's making my entire system slow..I couldn't find a solution for it.
How do I install win 7 home premium 64 bit with an Intel Q6600 processor? My system won't allow anything other than the 32 bit installation. Adjustments to the BIOS?
I've made a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate a few days ago and I started to encounter the following problem after 30-60 minutes. It usually happens when I'm running a computer game (any game), I experience a sudden fps drop, even though before that, on maximum quality the game was running perfectly, becomes unenjoyable, quit the game. The CPU meter gadget shows 100%, and even after I close everything, browser, windows explorer, the best I get at idle is 70-80% and if I try to open anything at all, it becomes stuck at 100% again.
So I open task manager and go processes, put them in a descending order of processor usage, and see that they nowhere near add up to 100%, even though at the bottom the task manager says CPU usage is at 100%. Physical memory is usually around 20-60%, no problems with that. If I go to Performance tab, and click on resource monitor, I experience the same thing: the actual usage is nowhere near 100%, I can't see any processes that would explain for the performance drop, in fact the highest demanding process is the resource monitor itself. The problem persists until I restart the computer, shutting down takes much longer now.
It's a HP Compaq 8510w laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Build 7600 Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 (2.2 GHZ) Hewlett-Packard 30C5 (Intel PM965 (Cresline-PM) + ICH8M-E) 4GB memory nVidia Quadro FX 570M [HP] Intel 82801HB ICH8 - High Definition Audio [B1]
I've tried several suggestions: Disabling HDAC in Device Manager (High Definition Audio Controller) Disabling Audio Enhancements in Sound>Speaker Properties Installing the very newest drivers, including chipset drivers Running programs in XP compatibility mode Disabling the gadgets
I've no reason to think I've been infected by malicious software, I can't find any suspicious processes running.
error coming keyboard not present on intel orignal board having i5 processor, PS2 keyboard lights glow as soon as keyboard is plugged in the PS2 socket but it does not work, tried to connect a USB keyboard but same message is coming and problem is persisting
I bought a new laptop now and I am not so well with the technology it says: Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) Management Engine Interface so what do I need to do now?
May I know can I disable Intel® Turbo Boost Technology Monitor & Intel® Management Engine Components or not? If I disable both of them will cause any bad effect?
See, I have a AM3+ motherboard, and currently a FX 6200 clocked at 4.2GHz, thing is, I feel when I try to play say BF3 on a 32 man server, My pc run's smooth, yet come to a 64 man server, My PC feels sluggish and well fails. Now I know Its going to effect my FPS and CPU usage with what settings in game am I running, well Ultra I don't use I mainly use a mix of medium and high, to Me its all about performance before eye candy, but BF3 seems to have no performance boost the lower I turn the settings down, I mean with one card I get 98-99% usage but in SLI I get 50% on each card with v sync disabled and on ultra I have even tried with settings on low and enabling v sync, lol that is just worse! I have been told the higher the settings, the higher the usage, and my cpu seems to be lagging behind.I know there is things to take into consideration like the Ram, Graphics, Hard drives, Lag ect, But I'm running two GTX 480's, 2 Velociraptor Hdd, 16GB Corsair Dominator Ram, a Corsair HX 1050w psu and Windows 8.Come January I'm planning a upgrade, but what My dilemma is should I move to Intel has I feel my issue is a major bottleneck with the 480's and my CPU, I don't want to buy a 200 cpu (8350) and a few months down the line have to invest in a Intel because the Pile driver has failed like the Bulldozer did! Or just upgrade to a Intel i5 or i7, I mainly game but do video work as well, even considering getting a i7 2600k or 2700k,
I have been using accronis 2011 for a long while, cloning the c drive to a d drive every Saturday. For the first time I had cause to restore the clone on d to c driveI believed that acroniss clone made an exact copy of a drive to another. Since I did this I can't get into windows explore, my computer or any of the right hand sde of the start screen, programs are no problem.. When I try to get in I get the meassage " No such interace supported"
I just got a new cord, that connects your laptop to a tv. So I already figured out how to connect the screens in dual, but everytime I just want the screen to show up on my tv, it says not supported?
I just turned on my sony vaio laptop that runs windows 7 home premium and when I try to run any type of application, it shows an error saying "No such interface supported" I've tried everything in the forum and nothings working. I can't get into regedit.exe to fix the registry and the error pops up when i try to do a recovery, and also I don't have a back up. The weird thing is that it can run programs through other ways. I was able to open itunes by manually clicking a song, and I had to manually turn on my wireless hardware to get internet connection.
I uninstalled a couple of toolbars for Firefox the other day using the Uninstaller in Advanced System Care 5. I think it was the Power Clean utility which has caused the problem. Now I cant access any of my folders or shortcuts on my desktop or in the Start Menu (Control Panel, My Computer, Documents etc.) the msg 'no such interface supported' pops up. The USB connections are not working either. All non windows programs are working fine such as Mozilla, Bit Torrent, Picasa and Wifi. Do I need to reinstall Windows 7to fix the problem and will reinstalling Windows wipe all my data of my hard drives? I returned the computer to the previous restore point but it had no effect
Prior to purchasing a Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade for $220, I downloaded and ran the compatibility/upgrade adviser program and found no problems. While running the Windows 7 Install disk, the installation stopped dead with the message that I must update the driver for my Adaptec 29160N SCSI hard disk storage controller. However it could not find a newer driver than the one I am currently using under Vista, version 6.5.645.100, dated 1/31/2007.

is there anyway to fix these errors im experiencing. also if there no soloution to these errors ,if i reinstalled using upgrade would i keep all my games and folders.
It fits the socket but does it have to support the CPU as well? I want to buy a cooler and i see in the description that other than the socket they also list what CPUs are supported, but some just say the socket, i'm confused.
I recently purchased HP Envy which comes with 7690M XT graphic card. The driver which came pre-installed is dated 28/11/2011. I've tried latest catalyst software to update but it gives error of unknown graphic card and driver not supported.
My samsung 830 120GB SSD arrived today. I plugged it into my thinkpad as an external drive using the provided adaptor, and used Norton Ghost to copy the entire drive onto the SSD. I then installed my SSD into the laptop and booted.Firstly, I get the "Preparing your desktop" screen which hangs for about 3 mins. Then I have nothing but a blue screen with the build number in the corner and a message saying Windows is not genuine. I started explorer.exe from task manager and got a start menu, but when I try to open control panel, my computer etc I get the error message "No such interface supported".
