I have a hp laptop with 1GB dedicated Graphic, 4GB Ram, but when I install my windows 7, it shares 1.5GB of my RAM to my Graphic, and I need this 1.5GB for my daily works, please help me to unshared this 1.5gb of ram from my graphic.
I share a folder once. By adding "everyone" to the list of "people to share with." Then, I unshare it. All of a sudden it has a "lock icon" on it that I can't get rid of.
how to convert a shared video memory into dedicated video memory and system video memory? me and my friend have the same specs computers but the same game runs slow in my computer but it runs smoothly in his computer?
I'm searching and searching for a free / opensource program that can convert most video formats (MOV, WMV, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 etc) to H.264 or vise versa. And with such options as data rate of 2000 / 5000 kbps but not limited to only that option.
Why do video files in windows 7 always appear at least twice in the video folder? Deleting the surplus ones means that all (with the same name) vanish. I'd be grateful for the explanation that enables me to have just one of each.
I have AVS Video Converter and what I'm trying to do is download 1920x1080 (I don't want 720p) video clips, converting them from mp4 to wmv and setting them as my desktop background. I use this converter because it is the first converter I tried that gives me lossless conversion to wmv. My screen resolution is 1280x800.I use the 1920x1080 video and leave all the settings except for aspect ratio which I set to 16:9 and the resolution to encode the video at 1280x800.When I set it as my desktop background, the video is still 1920x1080 and if you compare the original to the desktop background, the video is "protruding" from the screen, so I can't see some areas.I've tried setting windows background to center, tile and all options but still nothing.
I am looking for a video editor that can split the video into parts (preferably free). Most of my vidoes are in the .wmv format and sizes range from a few mb up to 4 gb. In most circumstances, it would be used to remove the beginning and end of the video.
My DVD drive suddenly stopped reading Movie DVDs. If I load data CD and data DVD it reads successfully. But when I load redbox or netflix dvd it does not read atall.
I tried changing the registry entries as described in this forum but no effect. I am stuck. Tried re-installing the device driver too but no effect. Still the same.
I recently installed Skype on Win 8 and my video shows a black screen. However in Win 7 my Skype video shows whole environment clearly (no black screen).
All video's work for every website except The Weather Channel. I use Windows 7. In Firefox I click on a video, it opens a black screen and just sits there with a little circle-du going round and round. In IE It will play the commercial then give me a black screen. I have tried to get help from TWC but they never reply. This problem started when they "upgraded" their video player.TWC videos work fine on XP but I prefer to only use XP for gaming. I have updated to the latest flash player.
Were dealing with a Toshiba Satelite L455D-S5976 running windows 7 home premium. The issue in detail.Ran unspecified windows updates that required a reboot. On reboot I have bios, I have windows logo and animation, and just as the windows should be displaying the desktop the screen goes a sort of very bright black.I can toggle the caps lock lights on and off. I have tried to boot into safe mode but it does the exact same thing.I have tried last known good configuration but it does the same thing.I have tried hooking an external monitor to the VGA out and it does the same thing.I have tried to use the function keys to toggle brightness up, switch the video from LCD to VGA, been in the bios and reset factory defaults. All which end in exactly the same results, a sort of brightly lit black screen. As far as I can tell, windows is actually booted up. I just can't see it.I can't blame the LCD panel or the inverter because I have perfect brightness in bios, and the windows boot logo looks fine.

So I have a laptop with 2,2 GB video memory. And ingame only 512mb is used, and as it says on Can You Run It, only 512 mb of dedicated video RAM... how can i make this like.. 1 GB?
Well I read somewhere that my laptop has a video-card connected to the motherboard so I cant replace it with a better one, and since I don't have the money to buy a new computer all-together I thought maybe someone tech-savey kind person could help me make my current video-card work better. Anyway I recently read somewhere that the main reason why my Video-card is so cr@ppy is becuase it has very low dedicated video ram(128mb to be exact) and I think that is extremely low for a laptop bought in 2009, and there should be a way to raise it. [code]
[code] so i know i need more ram for video editing but what should i upgrade to 8gb and add another 2gb in or max out to 16gb.i know a ssd hard drive would be good but can;t afford at the moment.
I get no video either in Media Center or Media Player. I do get the audio however. Right now I'm using VLC for my dvd playback. I like the zoom in Media Center though.
Anyone ever had this problem. I'm using 64-bit windows 7.
Just installed 7 on an older machine, and it is running great but something is wrong with WMC video playback. I also have a TV tuner card, and am able to watch live TV with WinTv7, and able to watch videos in it as well as WMP. But when I try to watch Live TV, or Videos in WMC 7 I get the following error:
" VIDEO ERROR - Files needed to display video are not installed or not working correctly. Please restart Media Center and/or restart the computer.
I just connected my DV camera to Win 7 and discovered that the only format that Win 7's Import Video utility will import to is AVI. There does not appear to be any format option other than AVI (which are HUGE). What happened to WMV? It was there in Vista?
has anybody else had a problem with video being upside down in windows 7?
everyone of my webcam apps (yahoo messenger, fwink, webcamXP, everyone of them had the upside down video complex. it doesn't happen to me in vista - i dual boot on this asus G50Vt. all the latest drivers and every thing's up to date, as far as devices go.
so I'm at a complete loss as to what could be going on here. any suggestions?
