I have Dell inspiron 1525 .. every thing ok except
1.Touch-pad driver .. always give error at startup
2.Graphic driver ... can play alot of games like pro evolution 2009 as the game see the vga card as 64 but it is 128 .. if any one can give me a link to this driver ..

Bluetooth DUN Modem Error :: IVT Bluesoleil
IVT Bluesoleil works fine. But when I try to connect to internet using dial-up, it gives me error "Can't create bluetooth DUN modem". It appears for a second. Else other services like file transfer etc. work fine without any problem. So, please say something about it. Has somebody faced the same problem? Is there any hotfix or suggestion for this problem?

Well firstly i forgot the command to entered in RUN which brings up the info box which has every thing about my graphic memory along with other suff so can any one tell me the code? and what is the shortcut key for RUN? and Also i will ask again where to find the right drivers after i am done seeing what driver i need XD..

Synaptics Touchpad Drivers
I installed Windows 7 on my laptop, and let it use the default drivers in most cases. The downside is that I lost the scroll functionality on my touchpad, which I can't see to get back any other way than using the Synaptics software. The drivers I have on CD are quite old, but the ones from the Synaptics website seem to work fine (plus there are 32 bit and 64 bit editions): http://www.synaptics.com/support/drivers

Graphic Drivers Problem Of Win7
I have recently done Windows 7 Ultimate in my PC. Unforunately, the beautiful graphics are not turned on in this Window. I mean the crystal shape of every window and probably aero desktop functionality in not ON. After searching on Internet, I found that all graphic divers of Windows 7 are not installed. Please tell me about all graphic drivers of Windows 7. I found one which is wddm 1.0. Unfortunately I am unable to download this driver yet. Acer Netbook Touchpad Drivers
I put Win7 on my Netbok (Acer D150) and it runs extremely well, probably because of the extra 1GB of RAM that I put in it. It actually runs better than XP. My only gripe with having Win7 on it is that I cannot use the scroll feature on the touch pad. It's not really important but its nice to use when I am a touchpad fanatic.

Drivers For Old Hardware Audio, Graphic, Video, Chipset
i do have a PC that i bought 6 years ago and at the moment is running on XP, i never installed Vista. this week i was able to install Win 7 but when i tried to play a video from it the sound was not coming out. i tried to install the drivers compatible for XP but it gave an error(expected that one) that the OS was not supported. any thought on how to solve this problem or at least does anybody knows if the third hardware company are going to post any driver for old hardware ?

i had xp windows and i create my game on it,my lap was infected so i format it now it's windows 7i download c #express and xna setup 3.1 and when i create a new game project and run it it tell me that my graphic device is not suitable and pixel shader must be at least 1.1 before today my graphic card was working now it tell me that it's not work my graphic card is mobile intel R(915GM/910ML/915MS Graphic. any one know any thing about windows 7? maybe i must download other graphic driver any one know where can i find drivers ?if i open hp drivers either windows xp or vista but no windows 7?other drivers like sound and network it works but i don't if my graphic driver cause the problem for me, PEOPLE say that windows 7 increase the performance for gaming . please tell me what to do where can i found drivers for my graphic card?or is it possible that windows 7 doesn't suit this card?

Acer Aspire 5920 Touchpad Drivers
I am about to install Windows 7 on my Acer Aspire 5920 but don't know if the touchpad drivers will work on Windows 7. I know that the touchpad will work but worried about the scroll down/up feature of the touchpad. Which you can only make work with Acer software, but they don't support Windows 7 right now.

LCD TV Flashes When Drivers Are Installed For NVidia Graphic Card
Whenever I load the Windows 7 VGA drivers for the graphics card, it runs properly but the LCD TV (Connected through VGA cable) flashes almost every 10 seconds. the screen becomes blank for 1-1.5 seconds and the screen reappears. The resolution of the screen is set to 1360x768@ 60Hz. With Windows drivers for NVidia GeForce 6100, when I connect to the CRT monitor, there is no flashing even @ higher resolutions and also Aero works fine. This phenomenon doesnot happen if i install Win-XP drivers for the graphic card on the same operating system. PC: AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 1.8 GHz NVidia GeForce 6100 Monitor: 32" LCD TV with resolution 1360 x 768 @ 60 Hz OS: Windows 7 Build 7100

Dell Inspiron 1526 Touchpad Drivers And Problems
I am aware that there is another thread relating to scrolling issues that includes some of the problem that I am having but it does not solve all my questions. I am running Windows 7 64 bit on my Dell Inspiron 1526. However my touchpad does not have it's same functionality. The scroll does not work and I cannot disable it. In Vista 32 my touchpad used to disable automatically when I plugged in a mouse. I found an ALPS driver (from the previous thread) that enables me to scroll without bugs but it does not let me modify my touchpad in anyway. I also found a Synaptics driver that lets me disable my touchpad manually, but it will not scroll. My touchpad is not actually recognized as a touchpad but as a "Standard Pointing Device". I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a driver that would grant me the same functionality that I had in Vista 32 or at least let my touchpad actually be recognized on my computer. It is rather annoying constantly having to switch drivers.

Video And Touchpad Drivers Wont Load On Every Other Boot
Im running into a very strange situation. Im running 7 Ultimate on a Lenovo 3000 N100 Laptop that I use for work. Originally I had the RTM that i revieved from work (HP). Once 7 was released to the public I purchased the Ultimate anytime Upgrade to make my copy of 7 my own. Here is my issue, With the RTM installed I had no problems. But once I entered my new key I started having boot problems. Every other boot, when I get to the login screen It seem that my graphics driver and my touchpad driver did not load and I must shut down and reboot. when I reboot it then works fine. i have done a Fresh Install 3 times, Downloaded updated drivers for my chipset, graphics, and touchpad. Could it be a BioS issue? I was wondering if anybody has ever encountered this or knows how to remedy this.

I have just installed a brand new genuine Windows 7 Professional. (Yeepee). now thanks to this wonderful forum i'll try the Radeon x1400 driver posted here. (Hopefully I have the x1400 and not the x1300)... Now, i'm missing the Synaptics Touchpad drivers so I can't scroll anything. do you think the Vista 32 bit drivers on the Dell website should work?

Dell Vostro 1320 Touchpad Drivers Issue
I have just purchased a Dell computer (vostro 1320), with Windows 7. Everything was working just fine, when I started to get those blue screens errors. I seeked help from Dell, which told me to install WinDbg, to find out the problem. After analyzing what caused the error, this program pointed the error was in a driver from Dell touchpad. I contacted Dell, which said the problem was in the software, which was conflicting with windows, and then they told me to format the pc. I am very reluctant in doing so, mainly because the pc is brand new, and every time I formatted my old pc, it never was the same, and the old problems always returned. So, my question is: is there another solution for my problem? Maybe an alternative driver, which can substitute the one from Dell and does not conflict with windows!

Graphic Or Driver Problems
I'm having a problem that appeared one morning. I didn't install/remove anyting before, it just happened. The problem : I see graphics problems when i'm playing games, when i'm surfing on the web or even watching a movie. It can go from the windows task bar going all pink to a complete black screen (for 1 second). I even have , sometimes, the blue screen and it automaticly reboots. I was using 185.xx driver and I thought updating that would fix my problems. So I've unistalled them , then reboot and my PC freeze when I'm trying to install the latest one. Forcing me to restart my computer (and it automaticly install some old driver 181.xx , I think). After a few try, I manage to install the latest drivers. Yet, I always have the same graphics problems and always this message appears: It says that the driver wasn't responding and it was "restore". I'm writing from the same OS but in safe mode with network and I don't see any graphic problem so far. If you have any idea what is the problem and how to fix it.

I have a Evga 9600gt graphic card, when i am on my computer everything is running fine. When i am off my computer and it goes into sleep mode my graphic card fan runs at full speed. This does not happen on my other hard drive with XP operating system.

Hybrid Graphic Cards
I have Lenovo W500 with hybrid graphic cards. Windows sucsessfuly detected both (Mobile Intel 45 chipset and ATIMobility Radeon HD 3650). However it uses only Intel chipset (which is low end card), rather then ATI and it not seemed any way to switch it. Can anybody tell how to switch graphic cards (this worked in Vista as four monitors, each one with it own graphic adapter).

Graphic Card Recommendation
Currently I'm working on an rather old PC with an onboard graphic-chip. I just installed Win 7 and it works great - the only problem is, areo isn't working on this machine... and now I'm looking for an cheap graphic card that meets the necessary requirements for aero. I don't play games or use graphic programs, so I really don't need a good graphic card - all I want is areo to work. So, if there are any recommendations on which graphic card I can buy, I'd very much appreciate any hints!

I know that to change the Graphics Card, we have to remove(uninstall) the previous drivers, replace the Card, and re-install the new drivers. On my inspiron 1545 laptop is seems finger tracking on the touchpad stops responding sometimes. I'm using Windows 7 default drivers. Do you think it is a driver problem? Can I use a Vista driver? Also on a side note is there a way I can disable the tap for mouse click on the touchpad?

TouchPad On Scrolling
On Window Vista I could just touch my mouse touch pad and pull my finger down and the it would scroll through a web page or in my pictures and etc.. and it would go down. I was not double clicking, I could rub my finger on the touch pad and go horizontal. On Windows 7, I notice I could not do this and I was wondering does anyone know how to activate this feature. I was not double clicking at all adn on Vista I do not remember messing with any functions to get this to work..

Cant Turn Off Touchpad
Okay i have a toshiba satellite A135-S2266 laptop.. i have have had vista home basic for a while and i just recently upgraded to windows 7... i love it except the fact that i cant figure out how to turn off this stupid touch pad and i keep accidentally moving and dragging files into different folders and such... as you can imagine this is very annoying as i am not a gentle person... the FN+ F9 trick is not working and i am close to throwing this thing thru the window (no pun intended)... please help, i am new here but i have found solutions here before just browsing thru others comments..
