View 4 Repliesproblem with self-registration of my dll.The dll fails with an error - "The following files did not self-register or unregister ---- Access is Denied". I am the administrator of the machine.I have turned off the UAC. I have registry rights too.The dll has been developed by us and it is working fine in XP. The installation package has been build using InstallShield_7.01 on a Windows 7 machine. The software has been working fine on Windows XP without any issue for years now but on Windows 7 it is having problem with registration of the dll components. Is it an issue of some protected registry keys of windows 7 on which i might not have permission. If so how to access those registry. On manually registering the dll using the regsvr32, we are able to register the dll and the software works fine.I want to know how can i correct this error without manually using the regsvr32.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have Windows 7 Home Preimium and use a Logitech g35 headset. I use the headset as default for audio and speakers, and actually broadcast a Internet Radio Show with it weekly for the past number of years, as well as using it for other high end audio recording and voice overs. I have gone through the Wizard for the voice recognition and it refuses to register or see the microphone when it comes to reading the script. I have tested the microphone on Audacity and it records properly. Sound is working properly, just not being accepted by voice recognition.

I have found what DLL it is exactly, it's wltrynt.dll. I have used many, MANY different codes to register it, but NONE work. Both in Run and CMD. I have a Dell laptop with Windows 7 64-bit. RegSvr helper won't even run at all, and as usual with Windows, it gives you a random error with no help whatsoever. -_-
make me a correct code to register it? wltrynt.dll is in C:WindowsSystem32wltrynt.dll

Have a website (url) with a simple structure, starting with index.html.Whenever I update some files this works fine, but when I try to replace index.html still the old version is shown, even when I just renameit to index.htmlBAK.I suppose it's some sort of refreshing thing, but I can't seem to find an option in Firefox 11 nor in IE.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWe have a new Windows 7 machine on which Ctrl + Alt + C doesn't register, at all. When trying to assign that keystroke within an application, MS Word for instance, and we click in the text box that "captures" the keystroke NOTHING happens in the text box. Its almost as if the operating system is intercepting that keystroke before it gets to the apps.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is on one of my computers running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. It's only started happening recently (past 2 days), whenever I try to open Mozilla Firefox I get "Microsoft(C) Register Server has stopped working". The details show
that the event name is "BEX",
app name is "regsvr32.exe",
module name is "msvcr100.dll",
exception offset is "8a3f6",
exception code is c0000417.
I've tried turning off DEP for regsvr32.exe but still no change. Internet Explorer doesn't work either, when I try to open it nothing happens.
The Intel(R) 82579LM Gigabit Network adapter works about 40% of the time. The other 60% it says there is a hardware issue and it cannot connect. I then generally fiddle around with the ethernet cable ie unplug it plug it back in move it around again and restart. This sometimes works and I have no problems. Then when I restart my computer its a whole game on whether I can get it working again or not.
I have the latest drivers, and it is not a firewall/security issue.
had some virus problems which i mannaged to fix using Malewarebytes antimaleware.after the removal i tried to install and update a mcafee antivirus. while trying to update it i got an error message, for which the solution was supposed to be runing the following code:Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\Ole32.dll but i got an error message saying something like (it's not in english originally) The module c:\Windows\System32\Ole32.dll was loaded but calling Dll Register Server failed with error code 0x800070005.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently plugged in a gamepad I had used on my old (vista) computer. Windows installed drivers that sort of worked but weren't as functional as my old ones. I copied the gamepad's DLL/instal folder over to this (7) computer and tried to register the dlls. Regsvr32 gave me the error: The module "name and location of dll.dll" was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found. Make sure that "name and location of dll.dl" is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again.None of the .exe files seem to do anything.I can't find the original installation file on the internet anywhere but the old driver name/version was: "TWIN PS TO PC CONVERTER Driver Version: 3.51(2007.01)"

I tested the accounts from home and they work? The office computers are running office 2003-2010 so its not a problem with versions. All computers run off the same network which doesnt have a server or any external firewall. They all run off a home style network.
