Samsung SyncMaster SA 100 Colors Do Not Print Matching Yellow Image On Screen
Dec 16, 2012
The color that is displayed on my screen does not print out the same. The yellow which should be bright and is bright on the screen comes out as with an orance tint.
Does anyone know where I can download the drivers adn the magic tune software for this monitor Samsung Sync Master T240 LCD? Or do they know if samsung are going to write drivers for windows 7?
I own a Samsung SyncMaster 913v, and I am missing its driver for Windows 7 but , when I check the website for download, it's only available for Windows XP, does it means I won't be able to find a suitable driver for it?
i just purchased this monitor, and to keep this simple, windows 7 doesnt recognise my monitor as a samsung. it just says generic pnp, but wont let me go above a resolution of 1280 x 720. the native resolution on this monitor is 2048 x 1152. i have a BFG GTX 280 video card so thats no issue there. all my drivers are up to date, and i also tried forcing a driver thats pre loaded with windows, but nothing works. anyone have any ideas?
EDIT: also tried forcing a custom rez through NVIDIA CP- no go.
My monitor: Samsung Syncmaster 933SN won't display at it's native resolution which is 1360 x 768. It will only display at 1024 x 768 which only takes up 2/3rd's of the screen real estate!
I have the most updated driver for the monitor, 3.0.0.0 from Samsung, which says it works on XP, and VISTA 32/64, but for some reason Windows 7 isn't recognizing the native resolution. It was recognized easily on Windows Xp when I bought it a few months ago, so what can I do?
I have a HIS ATI Radeon HD 4770 graphics card and a Samsung SyncMaster 2243NW monitor (native resolution of 1680x1050 @ 60 Hz) and I can't choose resolutions higher than 1600x1200.
I've installed the latest ATI driver but I can't find a Windows 7 driver for my monitor... Any solutions?
I have an old HP Pavilion t730m desktop pc. It has an onboard Intel 82865 G Graphics Controller, with a 19" Samsung SyncMaster 943NW lcd monitor and 2.0 GB Ram and Pentium 4. Currently it is running on Windows Vista Ultimate without Aero Effects, but everything else is working perfectly.
I would like to upgrade to Windows 7, as a matter of fact I've done it twice now, but whenever I do it I have monitor resolution problems, either I'm stuck with an 800X600 resolution or other options but not the current resolution of 1440x900 that looks great. So I have restored my backup of the Vista installation.
Sometimes when I change the monitor resolution, I get an incomplete screen display and a black bar on the right end of the monitor.
I would really like to upgrade to Windows 7 since my computer seems to run better than with Vista, but the screen resolution is very annoying.
I noticed when I try take a picture in a game such as assassins creed brotherhood, sc2, bfbc2 and use print screen and paste it in paint the image comes out black. I tried doing it on the desktop it works fine.
I really hope that you can help me. I installed Windows 7 RC and after install my monitor resolution is set to 800x600. If I try to raise it, I get just one more option and when selecting it, I get a black vertical bar on the right of the monitor with still very bad resolution.
My Display Adapter is listed as Intel (R) 82865 G Graphics Controller (Microsoft Corporation XDDM)
and my Monitor is: SyncMaster 943 NW/943 NWX/ NW 1943/NWX 1943.
Recently, I've got a Samsung SyncMaster 2043NWX monitor. It's an used one, but it did work. My computer is an Acer Aspire M3920 (desktop), a more complete configuration can be found in my profile.
My desktop PC connects to my main monitor, an Acer P196HQV via an HDMI to DVI connnector, and my desktop PC connects to my second monitor, the SyncMaster, via VGA.
The problem is, however, the second monitor doesn't work. Windows 7 does detect a monitor connected via VGA in Control Panel > Appearance and Personalisation > Display > Adjust Screen Resolution, it says in the display box: Code: 2. Display Device on: VGA. In the Device Manager it only detected my Acer monitor, but after I downloaded the SyncMaster driver from the official site of Samsung, it detects the SyncMaster instead of the Acer monitor! This isn't the case in Adjust Screen Resolution.
The SyncMaster shows nothing at all, the blue LED, where I can tell the monitor is turned on from, flickers all the time, but the screen doesn't show anything.
I have tried reinstalling the driver, restarting my computer, installing the newest updates for Windows 7, making the SyncMaster my main monitor, turning off the Acer monitor, but nothing works.
I have a little window that pops up sometimes when opening websites. It says message from webpage 2nd line yellow triangle [object Error].The only way to get it off is to restart.Anybody know what it is?
so i've had this problem before but this time i want to handle it myself, so i have these wierd dots on the screen, Where it used to be white its not pink dots, and where it used to be black, it's green.i can still use my computer, but it's really annoying.i tryed to use Acer eRecovery but that didnt work.
I have a problem with installing a fresh copy of Windows 7 Pro on a Shuttle XPC SN27P2 and was wondering if anyone else had seen the same thing?
Problem:
When I boot from the Windows 7 DVD the installation screen comes up in 8 colours only and the screen res looks like 640x480 on a screen that normally runs at 1600 x 1024 (this is what the original Windows XP installation ran).
Windows XP ran fine and did not have any of these problems (with the installer).
I am reluctant to proceed with the installer as I would prefer to iron out this problem before pushing on with the complete install.
I have a HP Pavilion dm1 laptop. When I switch to battery I lose colors. Light greys turn to white etc. I think this is a power saving measure but it is really annoying. This does not occur when I am using my power adapter.
Does anyone know what this is and where I can disable it?
While using Windows 7, my screen just turns opaque, and i have to reset my pc.
This happened :
1. Twice in Fifa 10 (exactly at kickoff, green screen)
2. Using uTorrent (White Screen)
3. As soon as i move mouse after boot up ( White)
The main problem is that my monitor goes into power-saving mode upon reset after this screen, and it does not get out of it. I have to wait a few hours everytime this happens to use my pc again. Its not my monitor, cause Ubuntu and Hackintosh work just fine. Today i got a similar black screen with XP. I have also restore factory settings in BIOS. Pls Help.
EDIT : Happened in Hackintosh as well, maybe ill restore BIOS to version that came with my PC.
EDIT : Found out a possible solution thanks to google (Damn! Why does BING even try?), Some RAM settings set to AUTO in BIOS. Will just have to give it the original frequency!
How do i fix a laptop LCD screen with distorted colors like the screen has a mix of red dots on desktop, it happens randomly last time now its persistent.
I have just installed a dual monitor set-up on my PC. 1 connected with DVI and the other with HDMI. While using both screens 1 has a yellow tint (the right screen) but when I switch back to using just the single monitor (left screen) then that screen has the yellow tint?
I cannot print .gif email attachments (text, not image). The print spooler shuts down and I have to go through the exercice of deleting all files in the printers folder and restarting the spooler before I can print any other file type. It happens every time. I think these files were sent by i-phone.
I have 22" 1080p monitor which I use for gaming, but I also have a cheapo 19" 1440x900 monitor that I use for IRC, Vent etc.My problem is that everything looks larger on the smaller monitor due lower resolution. For example, dragging a window from 1080p monitor to the 1440x900 makes makes it increase in size by ~1/3. Also, you can only move your mouse to the smaller screen if it's within the top 900 pixels of the 1080p monitor. This make sense, but doesn't make it any less annoying.I thought of finding a way to force a higher resolution to the smaller monitor, though from searching around it seems very difficult/impossible. And If achieved it could also be dangerous to the monitor and the graphics card? reduce the scale of the second monitor so that the things are the same size and make the mouse pass between screens without being restricted to the upper 900p pixels on the 1080p monitor?
Is there a way (and has windows 7 done it) to make the print-screen button to make a .JPG in a specific folder or any folder for that matter. so if you were to take 100 print-screens they would number off in a folder and be 100 files not the latest print-screen on the clipboard.
