View 9 Replies View RelatedI was using Windows 8 Pro, but because of some driver problems, I decided to rollback to Windows 7. I installed it at the same partition, without formating, but for some reason, the windows.old directory wasn't created. I stated that first because the hdd should be almost full, and second because there's no windows.old directory. I ran Recuva for some minutes, and it did found some files that where on the last installation, with many of them not overwritten. I would like to restore some of the files without using Recuva, as that will give me much work. There's any way to make windows.old show up?

I used until now a virtual printer who makes PDF files and send them direct to an editor. It's called BoD_easyprint_de.It always worked on XP and now I was told that it works on Windows 7 64x. Just on my Windows 7 64x Laptop doesn't work. I can download the program and start installing it. Right at the end the installation stops, shows a problem by installing the driver and error 216 and closes the installation.

View 2 Replies View Relatedanyway to use an ethernet cable to directly connect my printer to my computer or is there no such thing?
I have an older printer which has no USB connection. My new computer also does not have the old style printer port which is required for this printer.
My printer does however have an ethernet port and I was wondering if there is anyway to connect directly to my computer using an ethernet cable.
I realise I can connect my printer to my router but this sits on the otherside of my house and it is not practical for me to have my printer so far from my computer.
I have an Epson multi function printer which I am trying to install in XP mode. The reason I am doing this is because the scanner wont work in Windows x64 bit, so I have tried to install it in XP mode. I went to the Epson website and got the x32 bit drivers and downloaded both the printer and scanner driver. The thing is though when I try to install them I get a message saying that I need to install the printer driver manually but I don't know what port it should go in.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI know there are a couple threads on this, but I am having a lot more issues than others (or so i believe). Whenever I attempt to install iTunes, or any other programs, a window pops up telling about an error 2503, and then another window pops up telling me about an error 2502. Keep in mind, all the users on my computer have ownership of files (I'm pretty sure).
