Replaced Graphic Card because of over heating but error form before I placed it. Ram is set to 1600MHz and 1.5v like the manufacturer website says.

Applications Crashing Upon Connecting Headphones
Aug 22, 2012I'm struggling to fix an issue, where upon connecting headphones both to the back and the front panel, applications begin to crash. One of them is a game. It's something to do with the sound. Because games and applications run fine, with no issues when headphones are disconnected from the jack. I am currently on Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate and my motherboard Gigabyte Z77-D3H operates a VIA HD drivers, which are up to date. Both back panel and front panel operate on the motherboard's sound card.
Additionally, I have a Sound Blaster Audigy SE soundcard, to which my speakers are connected. When I input the headphones into the Audigy SE's separate back panel from the mobo, I input them into an orange jack, as this seem to work - only however partially. In the game, I can hear sound effects, but I can't hear any system sounds, music, in game music. I tried changing the settings on Windows 7 default sounds menu, where you can configure Speakers to be Stereo, 5.1 Surround, 7.1 Surround and so on, but none of these seem to do the trick either.
Sony Vaio Applications Constantly Crashing/sound Lags?
Mar 24, 2012A few days ago my computer started acting a bit wonky, certain applications running slowly and eventually crashing. I assumed this was caused by some sort of Trojan or other virus and I scanned my computer with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and MSE. Nothing came up for MBAM but there were three issues with MSE, two I then rooting in some java app. I thought this was the issue but it continued. The computer starts up fine and I haven't had BSOD so far, but not application, even explorer browsers, freeze up within 30 seconds of use. The issue with the sound lagging was just at first noticed with a few games I played. The announced messages would stutter for a minute even though it was a 3 second phrase.I'm posting this from my phone because I'm running a chkdsk scan on my computer again, but nothing showed up the first time.

Jan 23, 2012It appears my PC is encountering problems when running demanding applications, like new games such as LA Noire, Skyrim and occasionally even old games. The BSODs that occur appear to be completely random to me, but I seem to be able to reduce crashes when reducing resolution from 1920x1080 to 1366x768. However, this is not satisfactory for this new pc which I bought because of its capabilities.The BSODs have got several different error names "PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA" and "IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL". And came acros this site several times.I've tried several things, like a memory check (12h, no errors found), temperature log (60 �C stable on highest strain). Installed new drivers, deleted old ones and reinstalled. Reinstalled DirectX. Called the manufacturer, but they would like to repair the pc for free, but over 15 days. Preferably, I don't have to send away my pc, of course. Their and my guess would be that the power supply is not sufficient, if so, I would certainly know so for sure, so I can demand a better power supply. My installation: - 64-bit - The original installation - OEM-version - PC was bought three months back (november 2011) - I have not reinstalled Windows?

Apr 21, 2012My Dell XPS 420 has a problem now and again whereby everything stops working, but I can still move the mouse. If I try to click somewhere it'll say not responding. It locked up again just now, and if you look at the log, the time where the PC locked up was around the time of the error 21/4/12 12:54:32PM.I have no idea what is causing the issue as I'm not high level enough to interpret event logs. All I will say is that I have running on my PC: avast, adaware, malware antibytes and advanced system care pro for maintenance so I keep my PC in good health (or not it seems!)I have run the trial version of active smart (hard drive utility) and no errors are being reported for any of my drives. Check disk etc reports no issues.In the past my Crucial Ballistix memory has failed a couple of times, but those were BSOD errors that I identified and fixed by replacing the memory.

May 28, 2011This is not a problem occurring in any browser or in the BIOS or during the boot screens. It doesn't seem to affect any normal windows software (by which I mean microsoft products included with Win7.) I notice it primarily in things like Malwarebyte's, Spybot S&D, Alcohol 120%, and a few others. I'm hoping it's a font issue or something but I can't seem to get any reasonable search results anywhere. The problem is the text displayed by the above programs is often covered in random dots; sometimes just one or two and sometimes enough to obscure whole words. They change if you highlight a word and they move as the text changes (as it does during a scan.) I saw a mention about dots and a crappy set-up video card with no external power; just the PCI-e slot power. I have a Sapphire HD4670 1GB card that I am disappointed with anyway. I used to run an older nVidia 8600GT... other specs Gigabyte 785G series board with a Phenom II x 2 550 BE, 12GB DDR3 1333mhz RAM, Win 7 Pro x64 with SP1 (problem existed with 4GB RAM and pre-SP1)

Dec 1, 2011a few weeks ago my computer starting experiencing a few crashes. these initially only took place when playing a computer game such as world of warcraft. the crashes intially caused the monitor to go black losing connection, however the sound loops for about 10 - 15 seconds before finally stopping.
however in the last few weeks, the problem seems to have grown since it is crashing simply when the browser is open on such sites as Internet. the time between the crashes has also become more frequent.

Feb 26, 2012I reformatted my computer multiple times, yet my computer seems to BSOD randomly.What happenes is that everything becomes unresponsive; cant alt+tab, cant ctrl+alt+del etc etc. everything freezes randomly... then boom, BSOD. its happened twice, with no apparent pattern.And then, when it restarts, it tries booting but then it goes into the boot selection screen and my SSD is nowhere to be found. I have to power off then power on again for it to boot up and log in.

Sep 29, 2012My friend's computer have many crash always with bug check code 0x00000124. For example today he has 8 BSOD! I've attach here the dump analyze from MEMORY.DMP (500mb of it) and SF Diagnostic Logs. I've run a Prime95 test and appear pass it. I've reinstall the OS (Windows 7 Ultimate x64) with all update drivers, and update the firmware too. At the moment I can't run Memtest because don't have an empty CD / USB.

New Seagate HDD - BSOD From Torrent Applications
Dec 24, 2012I've been having a lot of problems with torrenting lately. I tried to figure out why I kept getting BSOD's from simply installing the torrent applications on my computer. It all started when I needed a new hard drive. I bought a Seagate HDD at Best Buy back in October. After installing everything that I needed to on my computer, I started having problems. I would constantly get blue screens which I couldn't figure out for a long time.
I've got two laptops. The one I'm primarily using is a Samsung QX411 with Windows 7 64-bit and the other is an ASUS X53U with Windows 7 64-bit. Both not running torrents and ended up with constant BSOD's. I took the Samsung in to Best Buy and they told me I had 29 viruses, even with my virus protector giving me no warning of having a single virus on my computer. After downloading uTorrent, I apparently had this weird uTorrent toolbar, which, I believed, at the time, that what was driving the viruses. I've never had a single problem with torrents or uTorrent ever up until now.
I downloaded uTorrent off of their website. I even tried Bittorrent but that ended up with these apparent "viruses" as well. Somehow, this StartNow toolbar, known for vicious viruses, had been added to my computer without my knowledge and this other strange toolbar that gave me a weird homepage with virus ads below a Bing search bar in the center.
Evidently, the new Seagate HDD I bought for the Samsung did fail and I ended up having to get a new one replaced and installed. I lost everything on my computer. Now I'm using a the 2nd new HDD and it's already given me problems with BSODs. I wanted to see if I could transfer the uTorrent over from the ASUS since it's no longer having torrent or blue screen issues instead of downloading it from uTorrent's website and it still gave me another BSOD.
I took it back into Best Buy recently and they told me that I had 49 viruses this time completely out of no where since everything on my computer was completely brand new and they removed uTorrent off of my computer once again. I haven't had a single problem since they removed it but I just don't understand what I can do about the Blue Screening. I can't use these Blue Screen applications to recognize what's causing the problem since every time I get a BSOD, it says failed to create dump files.

Random BSOD, Random Codes, While Using And While Away?
May 18, 2012A couple weeks ago I started having random BSOD and restarts, I have researched several different solutions to no avail. At one point, I thought the problem was solved after restoring a restore point, however, the dreaded BSOD is back after a couple of days.
- Restored the earliest restore point
- Ran chkdsk with no errors
- Ran full scan AV (just in case) using MSSE.
- Updated all Windows and drivers updates.
I believe this is related to a driver issue, however, I'm not sure which one.Attached is both the BSOD App and System Health data.

Dec 15, 2012This started happening last night while i was playing Borderlands 2, it has happened at idle, playing just about any game in my library, during downloads and just browsing the web. I changed all of my accessible drivers, and it continued to happen, so i moved all of my personal files onto my external HDD. I re installed windows on my SSD (did not reformat) and reformatted my HDD. I re installed my drivers, re-enabled SLI and it ran fine for about an hour, just downloading WoW, and then happened again twice.

Sep 12, 2011I have a Intel Quad Core HP elite Desktop M8190a everything is as manufactured except i upgraded the ram to 4GB.Originally running Vista .. Last week while playing a mp3 file from an external HDD a loud "ticking" occured then the computer crashed. Restarted automatically then a BSOD appeared stating something about a BAD_POOL_CALLER.

For the last week it has kept crashing daily so i decided to do a full system format to take it back to factory settings. Seemed all was going well, until i got a message stating "bad system configuration, unable to install windows". So i decided to do a fresh clean install of windows 7 64bit (genuine) that i had purchased and had been meaning to do for months. All went well .. connected to the internet fine, activated windows 7. I then installed my printer and all seemed fine. But the second i hooked up my external HDD (which is not new, ive had it as a backup since i purchased the pc 4yrs ago) .. BSOD !!! AGAIN!!! Not sure if it was a coinsidence or not .. but now the pc will not load past the windows screen it just keeps restarting .. so i cant even see the minidump problem .. Also there is no option to use SAFE MODE .. which seems odd. Only options are "Start Windows normally" or "Lauch repair" as this is a fresh OS install attempt there is no last known good configuration .. also i did notice just before one of the crashes that windows was saying it wasnt a "Genuine Version" - but i did purchase it from a store.
