I have a Pioneer BDC-207DBK BD-ROM drive and I cannot play Blu Rays. I have bought Roxio CinePlayer and downloaded a trial version of PowerDVD and neither of them will play the disc. Windows recognises the disc but when I double click it in My Computerit doesnt play it and I can only view the files on the disc
View 7 RepliesI have VLC version 2.0.4, so I'm up to date, but cannot play blu rays. I know this version can , but I cannot for some reason. I do use powerdvd to play blu rays, but I realized that if I paused them for close to 10 mins, it'll stop, then an error message will appear saying that it won't play. I want to use VLC as a alternative way to play BDs. I heard about dl-ing a cfg file and a dll file that involves going to appdata; but I wanted to ask around before I screw around in my VLC folder(s).

View 25 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem with my pioneer dvr-s19lbk with windows 7 ultimate 32bit.The drive shows up fine in my bios, but windows 7 has a problem with it. In my computer it shows up as dvd-rw, but in device manager it shows as a cd-rom. When i put a disk in the drive the autoplay comes up as normal, but when insert a blank disk nothing happens, no autoplay. For some reason its not seeing any blank media and i am unable to burn any disks, even though nero shows the drive with its full model number and firmware version.However many times i try to update the driver i just get the same message : (Windows had deternimed the driver software for your device is up to date).I have searched online and have found the latest firmware from pioneer, but as my drive is the latest model it already has this version and there does not seem to be any driver for this device even though it says on the box that its compatible with Windows 7 and i don't understand why its not working.

got myself a little pc that im using as a HTPC... I initially purchased a DisplayPort to HDMI cable to connect the htpc to the pioneer amp and then to the tv the video signal works perfectly, but i couldn't get any sound coming through, so then i tried adding a audio jack from the htpc to the amp, still no luck...i have test the sound from the htpc and the sound come out from there, but when connect to either the amp or tv, via the audio jack it doesnt work HP Compaq 8200 Elite Ultra-slim PC specifications - HP Small & Medium Business products?

View 1 Replies View RelatedHoping someone can help here.... running Beta 7000 on a Quadcore Q9450 with 4GB of RAM. The DVD drive is a Pioneer DVR-215 but Windows 7 will not show it in Explorer and I can't access it at all. Device manager shows the yellow warning and says this:
"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"
I've tried uninstalling the driver and letting Windows 7 reinstall it but it always installs the same one and says it's running the correct driver – yet it still won't let me use the drive.... anyone got any idea what I need to do to fix this?
I've search for this but not seen anyone with this exact problem (i.e: where Windows 7 reinstalls the same driver but still won't allow use of the device.)
how can I play a video in jet audio (or any other media program) on one monitor while I play a fullscreen game on the other. I can get it to work with streams off of website like own3d.tv and twitch.tv, and I can even run the streams in full screen. However when I try to run a movie through jet audio or even just play music through zune player, they freeze up. The audio will still come through, but either the picture is frozen in place or the zune player seems to get frozen.

My mouse pointer would start refreshing/flickering every 5 minutes or so and it would slow down anything I was watching or playing at the time. It doesn't really bother me when I watch movies because I can just shake the mouse and it would stop but when I play games I can't do anything about it and so I can't really play any games. I asked my repair man, he also has Windows 7 but he didn't know how to fix it.

I ran the Microsoft FixIt application but it did not resolve the problem. Fresh install of windows 7. Brand new cdr's. Also, when I insert a blank CD, it doesn't show up in My Computer, however if I insert a CD with data on it(or music), it shows up. Also should point out I have VirtualCloneDrive installed.
I recently bought an ASUS laptop with this configuration: AMD Brazos Dual Core E350, 2GB ram memory which 1.6GB are usable and I guess that the rest it's for video and AMD Radeon HD 6310M graphic card, but i can't play 1080p movies. I have read some reviews and it says that can play smoothly 1080p movies...and i wonder why this isn't work.
