I have windows 7 live mail. Works well but I can't delete multiple messages ,, only by deleting singly.Tried ALT but only get options excluding EDIT (which is what I think I want).How can I permanently delete all the old messages from the deleted folder ?
View 1 RepliesOver time I delete lots of files and folders. I usually use the 'Control-Delete' trick to "permanently" delete the files. However my understanding is that although this method may remove the file reference from the Windows file catalog, they files still may exist on the hard drive. And appropriate tools can recover these lost files. For example, using Recuva, one can see lots of references to files that I had previously deleted using the 'Control-Delete' trick. I would like to delete all of these references. Is there a tool that can scan the system and delete all references to these deleted files? I tried using Ccleaner, but this tool does not delete these references (unless I am using it incorrectly?).

All of a sudden whenever I delete a message on the server it is deleted from outlook as well. (This include messages manually deleted from the server and automatically deleted from Trash folder on the server).

've got a problem getting offline folder permissions to stick after restarts in our domain. Here's what I do:Go to MC>shared folders>shares>C$ (as an example)>properties>offline settings> and then I change "only files and folders users specify..." to "All files...". Apply and done.It works like a champ for what I'm trying to do (enable Restore Previous Versions of files to actually work- I learned that RPV fix from another thread here at seven), but after each restart the settings are restored to default. I'm assuming there's a group policy I can implement that'll auto-set those permissions permanently but I can't find any 'offline' shared folder permissions options anywhere

Once it was empty I deleted it but every time I open my internet browser it pops up again. I am using Mozilla Firefox and have checked the download settings but this folder is not named in any path that I can see. I also checked WMP but it doesn't appear there either. The only other program I used this folder with was Movavi to convert the video files to MP4 but it's not showing up there either.
