I have been having a number of apparently unconnected Microsoft Office 2007 problems recently (running on a Windows 7 Home 64 bit system). I will post these separately over the next few days. The first is a real puzzle. After I boot up my system and start Outlook, I hit the send/receive button and will sometime get a box with a message "Outlook has stopped working" after which I close Outlook, restart it and everything seems to work ok. This only seems to happen the first time I try to seed/receive email each morning. In the event Viewer I have noticed the following errors showing up regularly (every day):- Failed to get the Crawl Scope Manager with error=0x80070002. [code]

I used outlook 2007 for years on XP with same account settings and no issues. I got a new pc with windows 7 and now it is constantly stops working. I have 8 IMAP accounts, and it is always a different one that causes it. For instance, 1 day i can look at 7 account, but as soon as i look at an 8th outlook stops working. The only way to fix it is remove the account and reconfigure it all over again. then a day or two later a different account will start doing the same thing. So basically, i am having to re configure my accounts every couple of days.
Log Name: Application
Source: Application Error

Event ID: 1000

I've been using the same outlook 2010 for over a year now, with no problems..2 days ago I started getting 'Microsoft Outlook has stopped working' messages. The message pops up every time after about 30 seconds from starting Outlook. I've made another outlook account under a different windows profile and it works just fine..so not sure what the problem is. I've tried to make a new acct on the original profile, but still doesnt work.

regarding the contacts being synchronized with Outlook. All my contacts have their first names under 'First Name', but their last names under 'Middle Name'. I want to copy the middle names of everyone to the 'Last Name' box. There are more than 700 contacts and I can't be doing this individually for each contact.

I use Windows 7 64 Home Premium, and I have Microsoft office 2003 installed, where I use Microsoft Outlook for my main email address. In recent months, when I close down the outlook, a Microsoft pops up states 'Microsoft word has stopped working'. If the pop up isn't closed, for some reason Microsoft word opens up, and when I do need to open Microsoft word, this freezes and takes ages to open up, also on closing, it freezes again, and it is stated in start task manager 'as not responding.

I have an old XP laptop which I was using Outlook Express for one of my mail accounts (a work account). I also ran regular Outlook for another (personal). I want to have both of these accounts on my new PC.
My new PC is running Windows 7 wiht Office 2007. I used the Windows transfer cable and things worked failry well. My regular Outlook files all came over well, but nothing for Outlook Express.
I really would like to take this time to somehow export my OE files into my Outlook 2007. I would really like to keep the account which imported in on Outlook seperate.
Question 1: Is there a way to import my OE files into Outlook 2007?
Question 2: Is there a way to have two seperate email accounts in Outlook without combining them? Basically I want to have a work email and a personal and keep them seperate.
If I can't have two seperate emails with Outlook, can anyone suggest something which would allow me to export my old Outlook (the old personal emails) into another program so that I can at least use my work email on Outlook 2007?

My .com domain expired but I had it reactivated the next day. Now when I try to connect either with Outlook 2007 or Webmail using Xp or Windows 7 on some pc's it will not connect but on some other machines it will connect. What could be the issue with the pc's that will not connect to the login window using webmail or to the pop3 address using Outlook 2007?

Today I found a particularity that may indicate I need to fully uninstall Office 2007/Outlook 2007 and reinstall fresh. I wanted to export > excel the Contacts. What I ended up with were the titles: Subject, Address, Name and so forth. Not one address out of hundreds showed up. The export failed to create a list of Contacts.I then did a export > csv . Nothing.
I looked at my earlier backups from months ago and they are complete to that point in time. There are particularities with this incarnation of Outlook 2007 such as the inability to export > to do a decent auto complete. Little annoying things that I never experienced in Outlook 2003. I feel I should remove Office 2007 and reinstall fresh.I think the Outlook 2007 is damaged. The way to prove true would be a reinstall.I did the diag and repair and nothing came up. All scores came up with a pass.
