Max Nighthawk X9 Keyboard Drivers Not Found
Dec 26, 2012
Max Keyboard Blog | BEYOND LIMITS for anyone who wishes to browse their site to find an answer.
Got myself an x9 for christmas, went to put it on my Desktop (Windows 7 64bit) and the backlighting turned on but the keyboard would not respond to typing. Went and tried it on my Thinkpad x131e (Windows 8) and it works perfectly on there.
Ok the keyboard is working, good. Now time to fix it on my desktop.
Uninstalled my old keyboard drivers (K120 Logitech,) restarted, then plugged in the x9. Hardware found noise turns on. Searches for drivers, done. Try to type with it, doesn't work.
If I navigate to Start -> Control Panel -> Devices and Printers I see a device called "Gaming Keyboard" which is the x9 with a (!) trouble shoot icon. If I run through the troubleshooting it searches for the drivers but it cannot find them. Turned off my firewall, removed MSE and turned off defender, uninstalled my virus checkers. Nothing, still doesn't want to fetch the drivers.

just got my new build, which i got the shop i bought it from to put together. when i try and load windows 7 on it, i get to the screen where it says 'where do you want windows installed' and on the list nothing there. so it says click 'load drivers' so i did but cant find any drivers there... i went on the seagate site for my harddrive but they said they 'Seagate does not supply drivers for SATA drives because hard drives themselves do not require specific device drivers'. does this mean that it could be a faulty harddrive? because i took one of my brothers hardrives with windows 7 loaded on it already and plugged it in and it worked fine...

Windows 7 refuses to install new devices by USB. I've tried all usb fixes that were supposed to work --- unplug for 5-10 minutes, remove the battery, check if any plug-and-play services are disabled (none are), removing all the USB hubs in device manager and have to install them upon reboot ... nope. My computer is running Windows 7 Home (64 bit). I'm trying to install the Igrabber for mac and PC.
I installed the x64 drivers for the Igrabber and when I plug the igrabber into my USB port, windows says "installing device driver software", but never finds it. In device manager, it's listed as "USB Device." Tried updating the device driver with the driver CD, didn't work.
Tried manually inputting the directory where the drivers were installed into "search my computer for driver software" ... and then it looks as if it's going to install, but never does, just says: "Windows Found the driver software but encountered an error when trying to install it ... the system cannot find the file specified". I have problems with other USB devices too, for example my flash drive --- when I plug it in, windows ignores it as if I didn't do anything.
How do I get my device to install? usually windows will see these devices automatically and install whatever is neccessary to make them work. I don't see why this is such an issue ... it's been this way since the format. Everything works fine except for USB ports.

Windows XP-32bit > 7-64bit
I have now spent many hours now on this and this is the latest error message i get after redownloading and going through all this malarky. I am getting very frustrated and heartly sick of MS. They are every example of a monopoly for the economist and will be for years.
It is an absolute disgrace that they never even got 10 students to try and download when they uploaded; it's just basic. The money I have spent buying it have been long exceeded at a personal cost in time. I feel cheated.

I completely formatted my computer to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, I put in the correct product key and then when I attempted to connect to the internet I couldn't because I don't have the correct drivers. Back when I used to use Windows XP I put a little CD in and then installed the drivers from Device Manager but now with Windows 7, I put the CD in and I can't install the drivers. They show up with a tiny symbol with a yellow exclamation mark on it (it was like this too back when I used XP, but I had no problems then,).

To start, I had Windows 7 Home Premium x64 installed with internet connectivity working perfectly. I decided to place ultimate x64 version on, but now there is no network adapter, no drivers to be found. I really don't even know where to start with getting this fixed. And for some reason two copies of windows 7 appear on start up despite both versions being the same - ultimate x64 editions.

I am having A "HUGE" Issue I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit. It installed the window VGA drivers and seems to not even see my Nvidia 9400GT 1GIG card. I have tried installing with the card in then reinstalled windows without the card in and restarted put the card in and the drivers bump'd right in and hide my card? Any help?????
I downloaded them right from Nvidia, and it gave me this here is a pic attached of what it said. This happened with both sets of drivers advised from Nvidia. I tried "191.07 WHQL" and "nv19045_Win7Vista32"...
I have even set them to install in compatibility "vista" mode and restarted into safe mode. Please any help would be amazing. I really love Windows 7 so far and do not want to go back to XP. Is there something I can do in the registry keys or something?

When I try to install windows 7 it asks me where to install but it comes up with "No drives were found. Click Load Drivers to provide a mass storage driver for installation".My pc is a Acer Aspire ax3300 Desktop. In the Advanced BIOS Features the 1st Boot Device shows: HDD :P1 -WDC WD6400AkS-22A7B2,I am trying to install windows because I tried factory restoring and the upstairs electric switch just happened to switch off and when i turned back on i got the following message on the black screen:/Windows/system32/winload.exe.I managed to get it up and running with usb booting and then I started to install the drivers as the Hard drive deleted everything on it, so it did not have any Acer software. When I installed a few drivers it started to crash every 30 seconds and would take 1 minute until I could move the mouse, then it would do the exact thing. I don't know what I can do but I have took the SATA cables? out of the hard drive and waited 20 minutes, put them back in but the same thing happens. I have clicked the load Default settings on the CMOS Set up Utility but that hasn't done anything either.

I bought a W7 Home Premium, the discounted version for students, and I'm trying to install it on my Acer 6930G (500GB, ram 4GB, ...right stuff for W7).
I'm actually running W Vista x86, and I know that in order to run W7 x64 (the one I bought) I must do a custom installation from the boot. And I'm doing so, well trying to...
After the window asking for my location and keyboard input, I continue but then I get stuck.
A new window pops up asking me for a device driver...it stated "device driver not found"...
I read a lot on the internet, but that's driving me mad...
how can I solve the problem and having that OS running?!
I'm going to sue Microsoft if that OS is not gonna run... xD

I had been using internet with the help of USB CDMA Modem whose image have been attached below, in my PC with Windows XP SP3 (x32) previously. I don't actually remember the name of the manufacturer's; may be its 1X CDMA Modem! Now I purchased a Dell Laptop with x64 core i5 processor and now the software provided with the modem (in its driver CD) isn't compatible with my Windows 7 Home Premium. So I can't use internet in my new laptop...and I don't want to continue using internet in my old PC which has very inferior configuration! In fact even the dialler software provided in the same CD was not installed unless I disabled my anti-virus i.e. Microsoft Security Essentials!

Tolerance here, new to the forums as some of you may notice. Anyways I'm trying to install Windows 7 ultimate package on a PC that previously had Windows Vista. I've already ran the Windows Adviser program, and my PC seems fine so i went ahead and tried to install. First i tried using a burned ISO file to a DVD, with this i made my primary boot device the DVD drive, and my setup started normally. But after i selected the language, then a custom installation, and was directed to select the driver in which Windows 7 would be installed on i would get an error that reads, No device drivers were found. Make sure the installation media contains the correct drivers then click OK."
I've browsed these forums looking for someone with similar problems, and i did find them, and a lot of the threads were really annoying seeing as how so many people decided to reply with long irrelevant comments. Based on the answers from those threads I've tried burning the ISO file with a different burner (which was suggested often), but still with no prevail. So i was wondering if there was a problem with my system, or maybe my C: drive.

This problem is 2 years old and no-where have I found a solution. I am pretty good with pcs and in fact I had another one with Vista which I upgraded to Win 7 and the drivers worked instantly! Yet on this Hewitt Packard with the 64 bit Win 7 it has refused for 2 years to recognise the same drivers. I have un-installed dozen times and re-installed. And yes I have the 64bit drivers in the correct file ie cjq3500-4500Win7en.exe but every install says drivers not found. Wireless connection also won't work, and trying to update drivers is impossible as it's greyed out by windows and not selectable. Under general tab, it even says Manufacturer unknown! I believe this is a problem with 64bit Win 7, where as 32 bit installed (on the other pc) with no trouble. It could be time to throw something away, but there's nothing wrong with the printer

I purchased a drawing tablet that connects via USB to my windows 7 machine. I installed the drivers and I see the proper ones on Device Manager. Yet after it is installed, Windows 7 does an extra step and searches for the drivers. It says that the drivers could not be found. But the drivers are installed. I am looking right at them. I uninstalled that "unknown other device" manually from the device manager and restart the computer. The device works. The computer recognizes the drawing tablet and it works for a little while. But again, Windows 7 begins its automatic search thing. It does something that makes the tablet not work anymore.

I recently built a desktop so that I could play SWTOR, all the parts were salvaged from other computers, but they are all working and compatible, to the best of my knowledge, except for the hard drive, which was broken, so I went out and bought a Western Digital 1 TB hard drive and a new copy of Windows 7 Home Edition. When I got home I plugged the hard drive, a SATA drive, in and popped the install disk in, only right after I got to the "Install Now" button and clicked it did I get this message; No device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click OKFollowed by;A required CD/DVD drive device is missing. if you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now.Note: If the Windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step

If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now. Note: If the Windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step." <Browse> <OK> <Cancel>When I browse and point it to the Boot folder, this message comes:No device drivers were found. I've been searching for an our or so all over trying to find something that helps me with this problem, but nothing seems to be working. I have an HP dv6780se Pavillion Laptop.
I put a new hard drive in it to restore and the restore disks are working correctly. It will install windows vista, but then when it starts installing all the bloatware the computer restarts and says OS not found.
So, I figured I'd install windows 7 since I was planning on doing it anyway.
My problem now is that I'm wondering since restore disks only install vista and don't finish the other hp stuff that the drivers aren't getting installed for vista...hence when I try and do a clean install of Windows 7 it says no drivers found. Any idea what I can do to get my install going?

I'm trying to create a dual boot with win7 and ubuntu. I want to install win7 first and then the other os. So, using Gparted, if I create a partition, formatted or not, win7 setup will not recognize my hdd and i get the above error message. "No device drivers found". If I set my hdd space as unallocated, it gets recognized, but setup tells me it's unable to install windows into any of the drives. No further information is delivered.
The thing is I can easily install ubuntu and set it up. So there's nothing wrong with my hdd. Why would windows not recognize it and request for the drivers? I went to the Hitachi website, but they tell me there are no drivers available, since all OSs already have that information. I wonder why I'm having such a hard time installing win7. Ubuntu clearly works and installs smoothly and no errors occur.
More info:
- Installing Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
- HDD (500gb) is empty, expect for one OEM recovery partition (12gb)

I have only one problem with my laptop and that is at the start-up. I open up my laptop, and what I see is that there are several drivers that Windows is searching for, but cannot find.
So, as a pretty advanced user, I simply downloaded the required drivers and installed them. But when I re-started my computer, the "Searching for Drivers" pop up came up again.
So, I took the software approach. I downloaded Driver Genius, and then Driver Robot to install drivers that are supposedly missing. They installed the drivers, but when I re-started the computer, the deplorable screen cam up again.
I realised then, that the drivers are actually installed, but Windows cannot seem to be able to find them at all....
UPDATE:
The Driver that the System cannot find is Intel 5 Series Chipset 3400 - SMBus SB30. I hate tried re-installing the Chipset, but it does not install for some reason.

[code] So I get the Comp built, and did not have a windows iso yet, so I put Ubuntu 11.04 on it. When I tried to put on Windows 7 64-bit, via live USB, I get to the Install Windows button (very early in the process), before it gives me the error LOAD DRIVER: No device drivers were found. Make Sure the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click OK.So I can browse for drivers, and I have downloaded the Windows drivers for the Sata and AMD 970 chipset from Gigabyte, but the install windows screen does not pick them up. I hit browse and then find the folder i saved them in and hit ok, yet it finds nothing. My bios have been changed from AHCI to IDE with no luck.
