Make Bootable Iso From Student D/l

If you get the student d/l and have 3 files :

Windows 7-HP-Retail-en-us-x64.exe or Windows 7-HP-Retail-en-us-x86.exe file for the 32-bit (x86) or 64 (x64) bit Windows 7 that you purchased

- setup1.box

- setup2.box

How To Make A Bootable ISO ?
Someone want to explain how the hell you make a bootable ISO from these leaked builds?

Everything I try is FUBAR.

Edit: Okay..nevermind..I Frankenstein it and figured it out finally..I just copied the install files onto my USB flash drive and rebooted and set to boot to USB drive.

No need for an ISO

Edit 2: ...Okay..I give up..I get an error during install saying Windows can't install the required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. bla bla

Anyone else getting this with the 32bit leaked copy that just came out?

How Can I Make My W7 Disk Bootable ?
I come with cap in hand and head bowed in shame at this, my first post - after so many months reading the knowledge that so many of you seem to have.

I seek your help if you would please. After downloading at 45k all day what I believed (and still believe to be!) was the iso image of the RC, I (merely?) have the RC content that I need to create a bootable disc.

I have used Bart's BBIE to extract a boot image file from my previous W7_7068 disc and I now have 'image1.bin' at 2k.

But from here? - How and where do I merge this bin file with my W7_RC content? (I'm using 'CDBurnerXP').

Call me a 'noob'or call me a 'knob', either way I'll cop it sweet.

Creating A Bootable DVD From The Downloaded .ISO
I downloaded the Win 7 RC .iso a couple days ago and transfered it to my wife's laptop that's running Vista.  I also downloaded Deepburner to burn a bootable DVD.  I've gone through nearly 10 DVDs and none will boot.  What do I need to do to get this to work?  Does this .iso need to be converted to an .ima?  Do I need to tell Deepburner to make this bootable...or just burn the .iso to the DVD because the .iso is already bootable?

Creating Bootable ISO For 7600.16385
So I have the RARed files for 7600.16385 and I tried adding and replacing the files from the 7600.16384 ISO with these and burning them to a DVD. I thought I had done it correctly but after installing Windows 7 again I soon discovered that I had once again installed 7600.16384.

Can anyone help me use the files I have to create a bootable ISO?

I know I can do it from a flash drive, but I really want to be able to create a DVD of this using the files I already have. Thank you in advance to anyone who helps me.

How To Make A USB Multi-Bootable Device?
I have a 16GB USB drive sitting here calling me.. I have a project I want to do with it as well.

I would like to have Windows 7 32bit, Windows 7 64bit, Hirens Boot CD 9.9, and Windows XP all on the usb drive for install.

So basically I would boot from USB a menu would pop up and a choice of one of these 4 systems would be presented. Once you pick that Disk it would bootup to the install or application selected.

I was able to make a x32 USB Windows 7 stick but im confussed how to do a menu and allows multiple bootable images on a USB drive.

How To Make A Bootable DVD From Win 7 Downloaded Files?
I've just downloaded Microsoft Windows 7 Build 7057 Ultimate x86 with a size of 2.52 GBs. Since I use a fairly slow internet connection it took me AGES to complete.

Now that I want to burn it on a DVD so I can use it as a bootable disc, I see that there is no single image file like ISO, CCD, IMG, etc. for burning. Unfortunately I face a bunch of files and folders.

I'd like to know how I am able to make a bootable DVD outta these files so I can easily clean install a new Windows 7.

Somebody told me I have to download ANOTHER TWO GIGABYTES as a 3rd party program in order to do that! Since my internet connection is badly slow I didn't even listen to what he said!!!

Is there a way I can get rid of this problem? I am unbelievably eager to experience the ALL-NEW Windows 7.

Question About Student Upgrade
I am a student with Vista Home Premium right now and I want to upgrade to 7 using the $30 student upgrade.

A couple of questions though.

If I have read this right, (Windows 7 US Online Store - Student Registration) then if I buy and install Windows 7 Home Premium I won't need to backup my files? Is this true? If so, does that mean all of my files will be in the same places? And also what about my programs like Office and all of the other many programs I have installed right now?? I am just trying to clarify this so I don't end up not backing up my data and end up losing it accidentally.

Win 7 Student Upgrade
I have the option of going for the Windows 7 student deal and have a few questions that I want to clarify before I go for it:

- Is it the retail upgrade version, not the OEM upgrade? So I'll be able to use this key on a brand new box later on down the road?

- Is a clean install of the upgrade version exactly the same as a clean install of the retail, bar the MediaBootInstall registry key being 1 instead of 0 (if the installer doesn't find any previous version of Windows)? I.e. Is it just the installer that differs, with no difference between an actual clean install of the upgrade and retail versions?

- I installed and have been using the RTM for a few weeks, can I just use the upgrade key to activate this version?

Use Student Download To Upgrade
Can an .iso of the Win 7 Student download be used to "upgrade" a new laptop with the same version of Win 7, thus getting rid of unwanted programs? In other words, do a clean install using the .iso on DVD, then using the registration key from the new Win 7 laptop?

Assuming it will work, how much problem is there likely to be with drivers?

Secondly, I want to do this so I may move my critical program files from Vista to 7. Will doing a clean install on a separate drive still format the old drive?
