I have been trying to install a new 6150 printer from Kodak. I keep getting an error that says "error 0x00000057" and also "The Arguments are Invalid". I am running Windows 7 sp1 Ultimate with Office 2010. The printer is an All in One and it sure would be nice to get it working. I have tried to install it as a network printer but gave up. Now I am trying to install it as a USB but having the same problem. I called Kodak but after about 1/2 hour of them working remotely on my computer, they decided that it is a problem with the computer.
I have tried the following on 2 new HP printers installing from CD, dwnld file, or UPnP (USB) with the same results. Win7 says the ptr dvrs were installed OK and the "device is ready for use." The icon is visible on the ctrl pnl and all options show on a r-click. But when I try to print a test page I get msg that the drivers are not installed with an error 0x00000057. Or should I just resort to a small amount of C-4? Win7 Ultimate 32-bit OS
Since 2 days I have a new Epson stylus SX235W printer,and there is my problem also. I doesn't matter what I do but I cant get the printer driver to install and print anything.I have tried the following things:
1) The usual way and follow the steps in the manual 2) Using newer drivers from the Epson site 3) Trying to install with another account 4) Clean out everything on the pc that has something to do with epson printer drivers and software,and then try reinstalling. 5) Trying to install with Norton turned of(and other security software) 6) Try to install as admin
I am on a dell XPS laptop and trying to print to the network printer in my office. I can install everyother printer on the network but the main one. Add Printer finds the one I want and tries to install it but then give be a "Windows cannot connect to the printer, Operation failed with error 0x00000057" I have downloaded and installed the driver from the Toshiba website for an e-Studio 450 and copied that driver folder into the "FileRepository" folder but that didn't seem to work either.
I get an error message when trying to download the free Kodak EasyShare in Win7. Titled "Lua Error", the dialog starts with "[]Error Evaluating if(FIRST_BUNDLE ~=nil and not offer_events.loaded ==true )...." need I go on?
how to increase my fan speed. ive downloaded riva tuner and speedfan but the options that are supposed to be there to change the fan speed are not there. ive watched Internet tutorials, but im missing some of the option under customize in riva tuner. i have an hp pavilion dv2000 and windows 7 os. nvidia geforce go 6150 chip.
I have an Asus U56E which has an Intel Centrino 6150 Wireless N + Wimax network adapter on it. This card ran fine the first few months I had it. Then I installed Ubuntu 12.04 with my windows install and ran it dual boot. The card worked fine on Windows but I had to make some configuration changes on Ubuntu for it to run. I did that and it worked fine still. Then, naively, I installed a registry cleaner (wise registry cleaner to be exact), and some time after installing it and running it regularly (usually 2-3 times a week) something went wrong and I started getting this issue with my card. What happens is the wireless will be functioning for some time, perfectly normal, and then it will just lose internet connection. I will have to disable and re-enable the adapter through device manager to get it to work but that only works sometimes, most of the time the device just won't start again and I will get the device can not start error in device manager. Also, when this happens I usually restart my computer and sometimes when I do that (or even when I just turn my laptop on or come back from putting it to sleep) the adapter is not recognized at all, doesn't even show up in device manager. What's most odd about that is that the Wimax still shows up on the list of network adapters but the wireless doesn't show up.The steps I have taken to try and remedy this issue are, re-install the drivers (by uninstalling them first) from both the asus and intel websites, do a fresh install of Windows (didn't fix the problem but made it occur a little less) and open my laptop casing and unplug and replug the network adapter.I'm not sure what to do from here, I'm assuming its the card itself at this point that is messed up and my speculations with the registry cleaner causing the issue were just a time coincidence. However, I want to be certain that is the case instead of going out and spending time and money getting a new network adapter when the problem lies elsewhere.
In the last few months I have been getting error messages in my Yahoo mail account. It will not go to next email and returns an 'Error Code 5' or recently an 'Error Code 15'. It says "Sorry for the inconvenience. You have stumbled upon an unexpected, temporary problem." This happens every other email. What are these codes and why is this happening?

i recently got a computer from my aunt, and decided to put windows 7 on it. Before I installed it, I put in a Geforce 8800 graphics card and a (2nd) cd rom drive. After 20 failed attempts to install windows 7 (it kept freezing at the completing installation part) it worked after i disconnected the new graphics card and one of the hard drives. Now, however, i keep on getting periodic blue screens with the following error messages : Memory Management, and PFN_List Corrupt. I ran a memory diagnostic and it said that the memory is fine. What is wrong with my computer? I also ran a system repair thing from the windows 7 disk, and it came up with this error: System File Integrity Check and Repair Error Code 0X490

i downloaded a disk image iso file for one of my programs. i mounted and ran the image. the setup.exe file runs fine but when i make any selction i get a "error calling shell execute. error code: 5" message and the program terminates.i tried it on a xp machine and also burned a cd but am still getting the error message

I having a popular problem 643 and I have tryied several sugestions but the problem still exist.The first of many updates that fail was on 6-10-2012 Framework4 KB2656351 plus 8 or 9 more with different numbers.I got this information by clicking on display updates, I do not know if that is the right way to get the code name for the updates or if there is other way. If there is other way to get this information please let me know, I am a work in progress.

Windows 7 will not create a backup and restore point. I have a external HD with 163 GB free and the error code says that I do not have enough space to create a system image. The moderators at Windows Answers have nothing but suggestions, no cures. Obviously MS is aware of this problem yet they have not put out a patch or update to repair this problem, any suggestions for a not-tech?
Was in the process of backing-up my computer and received the error code that back-up stopped. I installed a new hard drive two months ago due to the fact I've been having minor problems with this refurbished pc. No problem. I installed updates, Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Defender, or so I thought. When trying to use any of them as well as system restore, and error code pops up stating Microsoft Security Client , An error has occured in the program during initialization. If this problem continues, contact your system administrator. Is my pc possessed?
every 2 days i get this irritating message: "system error code 8, not enouge storage...." this happens when i try to close programs , when i try to open a program or even to open a browser. therefore, i need to restart my computer everytime and then it works fine for a day or two.....i have plenty of space in my hard disk.i tried several things ( that i read here) but it doesn't: i used registry booster program but, in vain....
I was having some issues with my pc a few weeks back. Nobody could find a fix for my problem so I took the 11 hr route and restored it back to factory settings. Everything is good except I've got a yellow exclamation point over two devices under Devices & Printers. It's bugging me and even though my initial problem is fixed, I'd like everything tip top after I just put in all this work setting it back up. The error message located in properties is Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19). One is for my printer and I assume the other is for my modem?
