how to increase my fan speed. ive downloaded riva tuner and speedfan but the options that are supposed to be there to change the fan speed are not there. ive watched Internet tutorials, but im missing some of the option under customize in riva tuner. i have an hp pavilion dv2000 and windows 7 os. nvidia geforce go 6150 chip.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to install a new 6150 printer from Kodak. I keep getting an error that says "error 0x00000057" and also "The Arguments are Invalid". I am running Windows 7 sp1 Ultimate with Office 2010. The printer is an All in One and it sure would be nice to get it working. I have tried to install it as a network printer but gave up. Now I am trying to install it as a USB but having the same problem. I called Kodak but after about 1/2 hour of them working remotely on my computer, they decided that it is a problem with the computer.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have an Asus U56E which has an Intel Centrino 6150 Wireless N + Wimax network adapter on it. This card ran fine the first few months I had it. Then I installed Ubuntu 12.04 with my windows install and ran it dual boot. The card worked fine on Windows but I had to make some configuration changes on Ubuntu for it to run. I did that and it worked fine still. Then, naively, I installed a registry cleaner (wise registry cleaner to be exact), and some time after installing it and running it regularly (usually 2-3 times a week) something went wrong and I started getting this issue with my card. What happens is the wireless will be functioning for some time, perfectly normal, and then it will just lose internet connection. I will have to disable and re-enable the adapter through device manager to get it to work but that only works sometimes, most of the time the device just won't start again and I will get the device can not start error in device manager. Also, when this happens I usually restart my computer and sometimes when I do that (or even when I just turn my laptop on or come back from putting it to sleep) the adapter is not recognized at all, doesn't even show up in device manager. What's most odd about that is that the Wimax still shows up on the list of network adapters but the wireless doesn't show up.The steps I have taken to try and remedy this issue are, re-install the drivers (by uninstalling them first) from both the asus and intel websites, do a fresh install of Windows (didn't fix the problem but made it occur a little less) and open my laptop casing and unplug and replug the network adapter.I'm not sure what to do from here, I'm assuming its the card itself at this point that is messed up and my speculations with the registry cleaner causing the issue were just a time coincidence. However, I want to be certain that is the case instead of going out and spending time and money getting a new network adapter when the problem lies elsewhere.

I have a liquid cooling setup and the fans on my radiator as they are right now simply aren't cutting it. I have them hooked up to the motherboard in hopes of finding something to just boost their speed via software, but SpeedFan is the only thing I could find and it simply sucks for that purpose.

My WEI with 4 GB RAM was 6.6 and after upgrading to 8 GB of Crucial RAM it was 6.6. I knew the difference from 4 to 8 would be negligible but I thought I would see a better score. The system does see 8 GB RAM by the way.

Well, Windows 7 starter came pre-installed. One fine day, I was trying Linux and accidentally deleted my Windows. Hidden partition was also deleted. So I downloaded Windows from Microsoft site and deleted the ef.cgi file so as to get all the Windows install option when I start thr install from USB. Everything is fine but the screen resolution is wrong.
My screen resolution is 1024X600 but in the Windows setting it is 800X600. I can't increase it. It's just set to 800X600.
Also drivers are not installed. I have to install them.

How to increase my dedicated video ram?
I googled around a bit about my i7 860 and what other kinds of O.C others had succeded with and during some of these reads they mention that they increase PCH to get a stable system and one used as high as 1.25 and only 1.18 vcore to achieve 3.8 ghz I belive it was, while I read other guides and peoples toughts and they never touch PCH or PPL, so im a bit confused so to say. I run these settings now and I ran prime95 for 1 hour and 12 min with 0 error.
