Before a week i upgrade my hdd from 300Gb to a newer at 500Gb and i add a 4 GB RAM , now totally i have 6GB Ram I install Windows 7 Ultimate x64bit I install all drivers properly but i have a problem , when i download files after some minutes the internet connection stop , windows responds slowly , and when i press the restart button from windows start menu takes much time to logout from logon page

Windows says I'm still connected and can't find any errors, and when I try to connect to anything it gets timed-out.I did notice that there are quite a few things in the device manager under "Network Adapters," though not sure if there's anything in there that could be causing a problem.My laptop is the only computer in the house that has this issue, and it's had it on both of the connections I've tried using.

ATT has been eliminated as the issue, and I am now pretty sure it is a Windows 7 issue.The device works for a while and then suddenly stops, and then I get a code that says it can perform better in a different port, or it says that USB device is not recognized, or I get the Code 43, Windows has disabled the device.I "tricked" it by trying to use a different flash drive device and it worked, I was then able to activate the Globetrotter and it worked for a little while, then stopped again.

Anyway, the problem is that while playing some games (for example Borderlands, Civ 5) the sound will be fine but after a while playing the sound will cut off completely. It seems to occur when I am playing a game for more than an hour although I can't be very specific. If I exit the game and try to play an MP3 etc in WMP then the program just behaves like it's trying to do something in the background and won't actually play the file. There are no system sounds or any other sound at all.
This doesn't happen in all games, for example, when I play Audiosurf then the sound plays as normal no matter how long I play. This is why I think it may be a Windows issue thinking my sound card is idle and then turning it off because when I play Audiosurf, the game plays my MP3 files and so presumably Windows knows my sound card is in use but when I play any other game that just uses the game's own sound files/effects, then Windows isn't recognising this and after a certain period of time is then disabling my sound card.
Does anyone know of a solution for this or has come across something similar? I have an external sound card that is connected via USB (Line 6 Toneport UX2). Let me know if you require any more system specs, oh I'm using Win 7 HP 64bit btw.

Please can someone help me with this as it's driving me mad and when gaming online and chatting to my friend through Skype, the sound will suddenly just go off. While he can still hear me talking into the mic, I can't hear him or the game's sounds/music and he has to resort to typing me messages in-game.
I have a problem with downloading a file above roughly 80MB it just stops I tried chrome,firefox and opera and nothing works. On Firefox and Chrome the download just stops on Opera the speed changes to unknown and it stops downloading.I don't have a wireless connection I use modem and my net connection should be okay since on my old comp with same net it worked without problem.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have Asus eee PC since 2010 with Win 7 and never had any problem. I was working on my laptop without any problem. But for last couple of hours I am not able to connect to my wireless network. It doesn't show any network. It only shows the message "Not connected. No connections available". I have internet service through out the house. Wireless is also working on my IPod, IPad and IPhone. I have desktop connected with network wire and internet is working just fine. When I connect my EEE with network cable, everything is working as expected. Only wireless is not working.
I already tried the following:
1. Restarted my eee pc
2. Restarted wireless router (doing this before, would remove any problem but not this time)
3. Tried clicking Fn + F2 buttons
Also, few minutes back my machine was updated with automatic update of Win 7 SP1. Nothing is working.. I don't know what happened. It is so frustrating to see things stop working without any valid reason.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am using a nokia E66 to connect to the internet at home. My pc at home is running windows 7 home premium 64 bit. I am currently using nokia pc suite 7.1.40.1. All the software installed without any problems. The problem that I am having is that after I connect to the internet, I can only roughly download / upload about 5MB of data and the connection will time out. I do not get any error messages that is did timeout. The only way I know this is that I stop seeing data being transferred in Network properties.
I then open my e-mail client to see If I can connect with a POP account and then I get an error saying it could not connect to the e-mail account. I then have to disconnect and reconnect and try again. This does not seem to affect web browsing though, only when I am downloading files. Like Steam will start update and stop, windows updates will start download and stop and so on.
I initially thought it was a problem with the network operator, but when I boot back in xp (my pc is set up to dual boot between xp and 7) every thing works fine. No download time outs. Is it the nokia software that is not supporting 7 100% yet or am I missing something else?
I could be on my computer for hours at a time and after approximately 6 hours of being logged in, my internet browser just stops working. When I try going to a web page, it doesn't even try to load. It gives a very quick blink to the icon on the tab but that's it. I'm not receiving any windows errors. The way that I've been working around this problem has been to log off(or shut it down) then log back on, then I have a few more hours before it does it again. When the browser stops working, "bittorrent" still runs (a program that needs internet access). This isn't a recent problem that I'm having. It freezes randomdly when watching internet video from any source (all the way from Netflix, to you tube or private sites). When freezed it doies not respond to anything! Monitoring shows CPU with zero activity. Sometimes I can only move the mouse, but it does not respond to any click. I freezes anywhere from a couple of seconds to a couple of minutes (while having crazy sound) but then it continues running normally, excuting the clicks done while frozen. It happens very often.It does not happend when playing video fron hard drive, nor whith any other situation; only when playing streaming video. Video is well buffered.

I am connected to a wireless WEP network using a TrendNet wireless adapter running Win 7. The Internet will stop working for some unknown reason only on my PC that uses this wireless adapter, but just web browsing stops working. Skype and Torrent still works. On my MacBook the Internet will still work during these periods.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had windows 7 for months now on my new computer, but one day programs just seemed to stop working on the internet. First it was chrome, then it was a few games. Occasionally when I restart my computer everything can connect again. But it's starting to be more frequent that I can't. However, skype has managed to connect 100% of the time. I also noticed that it takes quite awhile for the computer to connect to the internet.
So far I've tried making new user accounts, renewing my ip, and uninstalling some new programs, but no luck at all. My antivirus picked up an infection but cleaned it, it's nod32 AV5.
edit: Ran windows 7 help and it found that it can't connect to the DNS server.

View 1 Replies View Relatedmy internet stops working for ~30 seconds multiple times a day. I am using Time Warner Cable with a Motorla SBG6580 modem and Asus RTN56U router and a wired connection. When it drops the internet access icon in the bottom right doesn't change (no yellow exclamation point) and sometimes when I run the troubleshoot internet connections it will come back with "the DNS server isn't responding. The other computers in my house don't seem to have the problem. My computer uses a wired connection and am running Windows 7.
