My PC is connected wirelessly to the network. The Xbox is connected via ethernet. I have Windows Firewall completely off and no other firewall installed. In the network map, I can see the Xbox 360. I can see my Xbox and it can see my PC. But they will not link together completely.
I can use get it to work if I have my computer wired to the router. The only problem is trying to go wireless. I go through the setup to get to add extender and get the 8 digit code. I put it in and it goes to the "configuring computer settings" and then times out saying "cannot setup extender". When I go to the online section it only tells me to enable UPnP setting which is already enabled.
how to setup this, i want to setup this to people that have access to my virtual wifi will have bandwidth limit in order not have all my internet bandwidth consumes and cannot have access to certain website (eg like Internet, facebook ,my adsl modem web configure page).

The main difference is the lack of ability to tinker with services (LISTSVC / ENABLE / DISABLE commands). A missed opportunity is the lack of registry tweaking, considering that REGEDIT can be run, but I think it only allows you to look at the registry for the recovery console rather than the main Windows installation, which doesn't help much (though I haven't tried to import/mount the registry file from the main Windows installation).
Is there any way to use 2 XBOX 360 Controllers for Windows and 2 XBOX 360 Wired headsets at the same time in a game on the same PC? I have tried and both headsets are working properly independently but was just hoping to get them both outputting sound primarily with both microphones recording as the secondary priority.

I have a liquid cooling setup and the fans on my radiator as they are right now simply aren't cutting it. I have them hooked up to the motherboard in hopes of finding something to just boost their speed via software, but SpeedFan is the only thing I could find and it simply sucks for that purpose.

I am hosting a minecraft server, and am trying to use a windows scheduled task to start a .bat file that calls on java and shows input on the cmd.exe console. When I manually start the .bat file the console shows, but when I start it with the windows scheduler its hidden. When I start the run.bat with a scheduled task on computer start up. The server will start and function correctly, but I don't know how to open the cmd console to type things in.

I've been getting bsod for a few months now so I'm pretty frustrated with it, i've tried everything I can think of/found. (I updated ALL of my drivers)My CPU gets bsod after playing only certain games, for example: when I play "World of Warcraft", after I shut down "WoW", about 2-5 mins later I'll get bsod.I've run a ton of file scanners (CCleaner, register easy, ect.) They haven't done anything, I also have updated all my drivers with some other devices.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have Bridged Networking set up in my XP Mode, and have set it to my primary network adapter (a Rosewill WiFi adapter, if it matters), and I need to be able to connect to it with Remote Desktop from another computer, either on the same network or on the outside world.
I have a static IP set as 192.168.3.249, and the RDP port is the default (3389).
I can not access the VM from the host computer, a computer on the network, or the outside world. (I do have port 3389 forwarded to the VM (192.168.3.249) from my router/firewall).
I can not seem to get it connected.
I tried installing a second VM with XP Pro (not the XP Mode, but still in MSVPC), and set up similar settings (except different IP and a custom RDP port), and can connect to it fine from the host, the network, and the outside world.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've installed Windows 7 Build 7057 on a partition where I previously had Windows XP. I wanted this installation to wipe out the XP, but instead it created a Windows.old folder. I've deleted that folder, but now when the system starts up a black screen with three options shows up:
1. Previous Windows
2. Windows 7
3. Windows Recovery Console
This Recovery Console was installed when I had the XP, I have no idea why it's still there.
I would like to remove any traces of XP and this console so that the system can boot 7 right away.
Also, a tiny thing: for like 2 seconds a black screen with all drives attached shows up, I'd like to remove that one, too.
Could you tell me how to do it?
I'm looking for a good permanent/persistent RDP Remote Desktop setup to the Windows 7 machine I'm mostly using as HTPC and file service. It would be ideal if the setup also included the ability to wake the HTPC from sleep. I would like to RDP with Windows 7/8 'console', plus iPAD and Android handsets/tabs.What's the best application to use for this? the ones I know of offhand all require intervention on both ends, which is not what I'm after. View 1 Replies View RelatedWindows 7 Ultimate 64-bit Full Retail The hardware is maybe about a year old at this point.I've only installed the OS once.s a side note, this occurrence isn't consistent. Meaning that the system will run perfectly fine for days ( and even a week in some cases ) before restarting itself. The only thing I've been able to pin point is that it'll happen while I'm playing World of Warcraft most often.My video card drivers seem to be up to date ( Catalyst 11.10 ). I've re-installed the drivers a few times using the control panel ( Add / Remove ), and then manually deleting folders and registry information that happened to be remaining.As another side note, I should also mention that I've come across one other problem that I'm able to fix after booting up. I don't believe this issue is at all related to what's been happening lately, but every time the computer is booted up for the first time it will eventually lock up when ever I move the mouse or stroke a key.I'm able to fix this by using the hardware troubleshooting that Windows 7 has. Once I run that the problem is resolved indefinitely until the computer is restarted

I have tried a few fixes like starting up in compatability mode and changing the sound to 44100 and 48k but they dont work. Occasionally when I play around enough it will work but next time I try to play it is back to crashing.
