When i start run and type any drive letter e.g: D, then all the recently opened items from that drive are listed. How do I clear this list? The exact problem is described in this thread as well and I've tried the solution mentioned here:[URL]

This used to work before, but now when my mouse pointer is over the little triangle (see 1st pic, where "Blocco note" is "Notepad") nothing happens, and cannot understand why. Other apps are fine (e.g. Microsoft Office Excel 2007, Beyond Compare 3, see 2nd pic) What can I try?
I work on a file in Word, I saved it. Then I want to email it to someone or upload to a website. When I open Explorer it just gives me an option called Recent Places which is a list of folders I have recently accessed. Then I have to remember (Word doesn't make that easy as it doesnt say at the top of every file the folder it is in like Word perfect wonderfully does) which folder I saved the file in. Is there anyway that I can set up Explorer so that a list of recently saved files, not just folders they are in? That would make things wonderfully easier and I wont have to go back and forth through a bunch of folders to find my file to email or upload.

Now, for some reason, Recent Items on the Start Menu only seems to display links to documents and saved web pages. It will not store the mp3 I use or any piece of music for that matter. I don't know if it was that way before it was sent out or not, but it's definitely closer to the max than i would like it to be. I was able to clear about 30gb of space so now there's about 45gb worth of free space out of 143gb total. I have absolutely NO clue what is taking up so much space. Any help to get that number down would be great. We don't have an exorbitant amount of movies, pictures or music files on the computer either. So i'm really lost as to where it could be coming from.

I click on clear list to get rid of the ones I don't want, or I clear the whole file. The list does clear. But the next time I open the browser and go to view downloads, the same items are still there. How do I clear them so they don't reappear? Do I need to go into the registry editor?
