I hate that the menu bar has been replaced by ribbons in Windows Live Mail. The only way I know how to change the font size of the messages in my Inbox home screen is to go to Tools > Options, which I cannot do because I don't know how to access the Tools menu without a menu bar.
Is there a way to change font size when printing text from a website ? I like to try other recipes but they print out too small for my old eyes to read.
I have a netbook with a 10.1 inch screen, and a 22inch LCD display panel. When I connect my netbook to the display, the words seem too small at 1920x1080 resolution. If I set the font size to 125% or 150%, then it would be too big once i unplug my external LCD and use the netbook's 10.1 screen. Setting the 22 LCD to a lower resolution makes the text look very blurred, so that's not an option.
Is there anyway/script/program to automatically change the font size when I connect/disconnect the LCD screen?
I deleted a few fonts from my font folder the other day and it seems that a few OS fonts were deleted in the process. Usually Ive got a message saying something along the lines of "this is a OS font" or "in use".Question:I noticed that my default calculator font is missing and was curious if anyone knows what font the calculator uses. I got a substituted font from the deleted one, but it looks terrible. If nobody knows the above.I went into a font deletion frenzy because I had some non-OS fonts that made my font list bulky and it took a while to scroll to the more used fonts. So I deleted some to combat this. Photoshop loads a lot faster as well due to less fonts(my little takeaway tip from all this)

If nobody knows the above. Then would anyone happen to know how to change the calculator font?

I've found that since recently starting with Win7 the font/point size in nearly every program I use is 'thin' or 'weak'. Even Firefox. It's all very pretty and neat and I can see it alright, but I'd like to be able to change it to suit me. No problem doing this in Word etc.I'm using a full-HD TV/monitor at full resolution. All I can see to do is change 'display image'. I note this can range from the default 125%>150>200.However, this brings up a window pointing out there may be problems encountered doing this. All I really want to do is change the font to BOLD as I've just done! Is that so difficult?I'm assuming that all the other programs are taking their cue from font settings within Win7. As a Win7 newbie, am I right in thinking this and is there any way I can easily change to the bold font I'd prefer? Or am I missing something basic here?
I have windows 7, Hotmail, Internet Explorer. When typing in a new email message on say font size 12, after typing the 3rd or 4th lines, the next line font size decreases to 10. How can I stop this happening.
my font size is too large, to the point where i have to move the bottom bar on my screen to be able to read the entire page. went into tools and reduced the font size, but was unable to lock it in.

I will be using my laptop in a variety of settings (Word, FB, IE browsing etc.) when suddenly the font will change size and become very small or the screen will become quite large and my scroll bars will completely disappear. I use the mouse pad and do not use a mouse. Is there a setting to change or am I doing something specific.
So, I got a Benq G2400WD and a 32 inch LCD TV connected to my computer, to my ati 4890 graphic card, and i wonder if i could set a different font size/dpi on my LCD TV than whats on the Benq?
I have connected my laptop to a 40" LCD TV using HDMI cable and everything works fine. Since the desktop icons/fonts on the TV shows default (small) size from the laptop, in order for me to see it from the distance I have to change the desktop icons/fonts to a larger size. Here is my question; Is there a way to set up a different desktop icon/fonts size to match the TV and the laptop? (perhaps different profile settings???) Meaning, when I disconnect the HDMI cable from the TV, I want the size of the icons/fonts go back to default/small size icons and vice versa
There must be a simple keystroke or two that helps increase or decrease the font size of everything displayed on the computer, right? I am on the internet or other software programs and cannot access dropdown options etc. because the font size is too large.
Running windows 7 home premium. The other day I was messing around with printer settings trying to enlarge what I was printing. Now my browser experience has taking a turn for the worse. My font seems out of whack from web page to web page. Giant bold headers on some and overlapping links on others. I am constantly having to use CTRL -or+ to adjust it depending on what I am looking at. Not sure if I accidentally changed a setting that affects my everyday browsing while I was messing with the printer settings.
I've discovered how to increase the font size used for desktop icons, titlebars, menus etc via the advanced display preferences under Win7, but Outlook still uses a teensy font to render the names of my folders in the folders & favourites panels.
Does anyone know how to increase the fonts size there other than the Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Display option? I don't want to increase the icon size and other font sizes, nor do I want to use the Set custom text size (DPI) tweak.

I have my computer plugged into my TV. I use HDMI connection. I find my system font a little small on my TV but i want to keep the current font size, while my desktop is switched over to my computer monitor. is there a way i can quickly and easily change windows font size? i have a feeling this will require at least a logoffI know there are settings to change size of most things, including font, but that's too much trouble every time i switch back and forth. whatg would be really cool, would be if windows recognized my preference automatically
