I have a router with one ethernet port and one usb port. but i don't use that usb port. I use a ethernet switch to connect my 2 computers and the router. I can share data between 2 PC without any problem. but the problem is i can't use broadband in both pc simultaneously, when one PC is using broadband then in other PC when I'm connecting broadband it says that the router is busy and then shows error 678. please help me to use broadband in those PC simultaneously.
If I want to record sound from PC I use Stereo Mixer and If I want to record sound from me I use Mic But can I do both at the same time?I've got Realtek HD?
I'd like to be able to use two Users simultaneously--that is, two Users on my PC, which has Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit. My hope is to not have to switch between Users (I use each User for different purposes). Can I keep both Users open AND SIMULTANEOUSLY Accessible--I mean, accessible at the same time?
I have a Windows 8 laptop. Earlier today I uninstalled AVG free. I declined to restart, deciding I'd restart later. I then installed Avast Antivirus - and when I tried to run Avast, everything froze, and I had to turn the laptop off. When I logged back in to windows, I'm met just the mouse on a black screen. If I log into safe mode, there's the outline of my desktop, and I can run some programs, but most files are inaccessible & I can't get online, the windows taskbar won't open etc, and after a while a blue screen with text appears and the computer restarts.I can't think of any cause other than the antivirus installation. My question is, can you think of any way to undo this without just wiping the computer? I've managed to burn some personal files to a DVD but would still prefer not to go back to square one.
i have a USB Internet Connection and a WI-FI connection. i want to use both of them simultaneously. i know i can't stack their download and upload speed, but atleast i can download 2 files at the same time without having one internet connection doing all the burden. i think it's called load balancing or whatsoever. and it's built into windows 7? but whenever i try to connect the USB internet connection, my WI-FI suddenly goes "No internet connection". but it is still connected.
Is it possible to use DHCP dynamic ip and static ip in one nic at the same time ? Like in xp via regedit ? Is it disabled to use them simultanously in Windows 7, one nic?
Google is full of "alternative config" suggestions, but they aren't what i'm looking for. (since it is for the "if DHCP isn't available" situation)
I have wifi connection of one service provider and Lan Connection of another service provider... Can i use both connection simultaneously on my laptop? having window 7. They both have automatic configuration of IPs
I have a bit of a canundrum. I have 2 mobile broadband connections, one for my computer and one for my iPhone. It's basically the same subscription over here. I live a bit off the grid so I can't get any DSL connection unfortunately. So they both have a limited download rate and my 10 gigs each month dries up pretty fast, and then I'm left with a 15kb/s connection on both devices. Now I've used my iPhone as a wifi router to access it and download through that connection on my pc, meanwhile the USB dongle 3g connection has been there and I've just assumed that they work together to bring me information, but obviously that doesn't happen. Now I realize this won't do a lot, but over here it's a doubling in bandwidth, and from 15 to 30 kb/s is quite a jump.
I am using windows 7 ultimate. I want to use the 3g internet and the ADSL connection together for better speeds. Is it possible? If yes, how do I do that?
I want to use Carbonite to create an online backup and Windows 7 Backup to create a system image on an external hard drive. Can I do both without causing problems?
I have LAN connection and according to my Gateway of 192.168.100.1, i can use any IP within the range of 192.168.100.1 - 192.168.102.255I want to host a VerliHub on my laptop at an IP 192.168.101.1For all other purposes like connecting to local CS or DOTA servers, connecting to my Hub which i will be hosting, connecting to Internet, I would like to use another IP say for example 192.168.101.2I m not concerned about the IP that i get from the Main router through the ISP while using internet access and neither am i concerned with what the DHCP provides the router. I am just concerned about the usage of 2 different IP addresses from the same laptop over LAN.If i can host the hub at 1 IP and access it from another IP through my laptop, then kindly let me know how to do it.
I have HP DV4 Pavillion core i3 with Windows7 operating system.I would like to know if we could use the inbuilt speakers and headphone simultaneously forexample...headphone for voice chat and inbuilt speakers for music playing.
I'm trying to record my cell phone messages onto my computer as mp3's. All the audio capture software i've found will do this but, not at the same time 'play' the line in audio (which i need to hear how to control my voice mail system).I can't use a splitter on the audio as it's a crappy old phone and the output is pretty low as-is.
I plugged at cable into my PC and connected the cable to the PC-In port on a TV. I can simultaneously display the same program on the PC and TV. I would like to run Open Office Writer on the PC and Google Chrome on the TV. How can this be done?
I want to save a file to multiple drives, simultaneously. RAID can join multiple drives, as far as I know, you can't have a temporary RAID setup, whereas, you have an external drive that is attached temporarily, how ever long temporarily is, save the file which is saved to the RAID, when you don't want the drive to be attached to a RAID you can stop the RAID, whenever, and it acts like a regular drive.
I have windows XP mode installed on Window 7 Enterprise and running Windows XP ofcorce. I need to connect my laptop to wired network and in some time to connect wireless for XP mode using. What I mean : I want to use wired internet for my Windows 7 and in same time wireless network for windows XP in XP mode that is running. This I need because those two windows need to be connected in different networks.
In win7 64 (desktop) I can't enable speakers and headphones to work simultaneously: it's one or the other (very annoying). (IDT Audio drivers ok) In Vista they worked perfectly together.
OK so I already wrote all this once so give me a break if this gets brief. I have AT&T DSL and at the most inconvenient times I get sent to an AT&T page that states " The Broadband Link is Currently Not Available" It has a reset button at the bottom but there is no need because I can wait a moment and refresh and it will say problem solved please close the browser. This has the ability to cause lost work.I have read alot of forums blaming everything from the wiring to the phone lines in the house to the hardware, anyhow everything on this house is Wifi so I don't know if this problem persist over hard line but I assume it does because others have complained of it.
I have noticed that some times my internet connection can get a download speed of 5mb/s for some time (from minutes to some hours) and then drop at 500kb/s-both wireless and lan.The speed might rise/fall at random points but it is also somehow related to me disconnecting and then reconnecting to the internet. Most of the time I will have the low speed unfortunately.
After installing a new Virgin Superhub and finding I had internet access I thought that everything was working fine but later on this morning I found out that my Home Network ie wifes pc and the broadband connection to my main television set was offline. After googling a while and finding an article at the Virgin Media site I found out that the Default setting when installing the virgin superhub was as a router which meant that it had blocked off my Buffalo Airstation router and hence the no internet on secondary PC and TV. I had to enter the admin pages of the Virgin superhub and re-install it as a cable modem and when I eventually rebooted my system, and after a couple of tweaks I finally had my home network up and running again. I use Comodo Dragon as my default browser and a couple of hours ago I noticed a slow up of my main Win7 OS PC broadband connection which shouldn't really be as I have upgraded from a 10Mb connection to a 30Mb connection and my internet has seldom hung like this. It seems to be an entry of svchost.exe that is causing the problem. I did a scan with Process Explorer screen shots below. The svchost entry with PID 1892 is linked to "Local System Network Restricted" and to the service Superfetch. On the Comodo CIS Summary screen at the same time I saw that even though Comodo Dragon is running it is not shown and again svchost is using 90+% of my bandwidth. And when checking the Firewall Events screen I saw that some of Comodo Dragons functions had been blocked.
I bought a computer with a Windows 7 OS and can't connect with my ISP. Windows 7 diagnostic says I need a user name and password from my ISP to establish a connection. My ISP offers no user name or password under it DHCP service. How do I get online??
I have a micromax funbook. It has a microusb port and I have a micro to USB adapter. In teh manual they are saying I can connect to net using a lan cable via a LAN to USB adaptor. So I bought a LAN to USB adapter (by ENTER, Costs 450/-* MRP) .. I checked it at the shop using their net connection, which was in PPPoe mode(Doesnot need a dialer). It was working and I could get kind of ok connection speed.
At my home I have Broadband in Bridged( I need to dial to get connected) mode. So I have to create a dialup connection dial to connect to net. So when I use the adapter at home cannot connect to net. How to get bridged to get working on a Tablet? I am using bridged because I can keep my modem on and can connect to net quickly when needed. If there is no other way I will switch to PPPoe mode. But don't advice to "buy a modem with wifi" etc..
I have recently moved to Sky Broadband and I am experiencing difficulties regarding my wireless connection.
The device in question is a Sony Vaio FW56E (Windows 7, home premium , 64 bit). I initially contacted Sky regarding the connection but as all my other wireless devices (Blu Ray, Ipod, Vista notebook) connect without any issues they could not help.Sky have confirmed that it is not a fault with the Router and that it must be a software/hardware issue with my Vaio.
My Vaio is connecting to the Sky network but I cannot actually access the internet. I have checked all the settings and checked my wireless password. I have also looked into my firewall settings and tried to connect with windows firewall disabled.
Listed below are all the steps I have taken to try and resolve this issue.
Reset the Rouer Removed the Sky network and reconnected again. Checked that the wireless is actually enabled. Changed the wireless channel several times. Updated the VAIO via windows update using the Ethernet. Reset the router.
If it is of any use the Rouer Sky provided is a Sagecom F@ST2504n.
Up until around two days ago, i have been using 3G broadband on my Windows 7 machines. This has worked as it says on the tin, until the software supplied with the devices did not want to connect anymore. Having tried all the tricks, like reinstalling drivers, using safe mode to do same, checking all my software is up-to-date etc. i still cannot get the devices to install correctly, as the "Modem" part (e.g. "ZTE Proprietary USB modem" on my ZTE MF626) fails to load it's drivers WITH ANY DEVICE WHICH USES A DIALUP-STYLE CONNECTION. The exact error I found in Device Manager is: "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"This happens if i plug in a USB dongle, or use bluetooth to link to my cell phone. Does anyone know how to force the drivers to load, and/or make this problem go away? I suspect there has been an update recently which has broken this.

I am trying to find out how to keep my Broadband connection active when I switch users. I have 4 accts. on my computer, one for each family member. Whenever I switch accts, my Broadband connection shuts down. You can start it up again after the switch with no problem. I would prefer, however, to have it stay connected during the switch, as this would just make my life easier. For instance all users connect to the same torrent software, and I have the files for it synced. So, no matter who is logged in, the torrent info is the same. When the connection drops, the torrent software has to reload all the DHT info. I have googled this, to no avail. I assume it is a matter of where the BB Modem Drivers are installed? Or maybe a Registry tweak.
Recently installed Dell vostro Laptop - Windows 7 Professional - Windows Live Mail.
using a Verizon USB Mobile Broadband adapter - works great on the Internet, but when I try to use Live Mail for Gmail account, the connection keeps dropping.
When using the Internet to get google Gmail - all works perfectly.
It is just when using Windows Live Mail that I drop the broadband conection?
We changed our provider today and are back with satellite instead of broadband. I have wireless for the computers but now I've lost my wireless printer. It's a Canon MP 560. I tried setting up the connection from the computer and from the printer.
