Forward Port To Virtual XP

I try to forward a port to my Virtual Windows XP. I have done that with VirtualBox in NAT mode, it was working well (using the VirtualBox service).
Now with the Virtual Windows XP, I didn't find anything to make the port forward working in NAT mode. So I tried the Microsoft loopback adapter. I installed it manually in the device manager, and I told Virtual XP to use this adapter.
After that, I saw it doesn't work at all, no IP, no connection. So I searched a little more and found this: Virtual PC Guy's WebLog : Configuring NAT via using the Microsoft Loopback Adapter and Internet Connection Sharing
It tells to share the internet with the loopback using the 'real' network adapter. I have done that but I still don't have any connection.

on my laptop (core2duo, Win7), the backspace key has started deleting not only the character to the left, but also one to the right. Yes, it deletes two characters every time! This happens in notepad, word, web email systems. I've tried rebooting, I've run symantec online scanner, Kaspersky 2011 av scan.

I just bought a new computer from a computer shop. It is custom built and has the following:Has 8GB RAM, 3.3ghz intel core i5-2500k, windows 7, Intel HD graphics so upto 1.7GB max video memory, 1 VGA slot, 1 DVI slot.Just to confirm I checked in person and my tower has a VGA port and a DVI-D dual link port.

I know this thread has been done before but unfortunately I have only just discovered the site. Like others previously I cannot forward images in emails. I have windows 7 and windows live mail and I know that one suggestion by 'DAVEHC' was to find 'options' 'compose' tab and convert messages to photo email. This doesn't work for me, in the main really because try as I might I cannot find "Options" to start off with.I am sorry to start the thread all over again but has anybody any other suggestions because I am desparate to sort this before it drives me entirely crazy!! I dont give up very easily but this has got me beaten. I wouldn't mind too much but it only occurs when one particular friend sends the jokes with pictures etc and she sends the best ones!! Sods law or what...

windows7 64 bit. My blue back and forward buttons dont work in My Documents. Remain greyed out. For example when I am in: Computer > d: > My Documents > photography > Nikon > D100 cant go back to My Documents with the back arrow. Have to use the red cross in top right of screen. After visiting several pages have to press this red cross maybe 20 times to get back to the start

Windows 7 professional on a Dell laptop. Gmail will not upload or send/forward email with any attachments. Receiving no problem. PC is plugged into ethernet, has Norton Internet Security 2011. Temp files and cookies have been cleared. Gmail works fine on home pc, same account. Interestingly enough, Hotmail works just fine on laptop.

I am using Windows 7 [x64] and Windows Live Mail. When I receive an email with pictures embedded in them I can read them fine, but when I go to forward I get this message:One or more of the pictures in this message could not be found. When you send this message these pictures will not be included. Are you sure you want to send this message?"I have already turned off firewalls and my anti-virus with no remedy. I also Live Mail Options/Mail/Compose and UNchecked the Photo emails box, closed WLM and opened it again, but still have the same problem.

I have a HP G62-225DX Notebook. My Notebook doesn't go forward after displaying ress esc key for startup menu". I press esc key but when I press f11, it doesn't run recovery which I have in e drive. All I see is a blinking curosr "-" and notebook doesn't go forward. Is there a way I can run recovery from e drive.

So anytime I set my date and time to the correct settings either manually, in the bois, or allowing to sync with internet time option, the date and time seem to adjust forward randomly but seems to be often 2-3 weeks. Not sure when it changes since I never catch real time but I've changed my time approximately 10 times now and it never sticks.

Logitech Performance Mouse MX, extra buttons for previous / next page. Since yesterday evening these buttons are useless, instead of bringing me to next or previous page they both cause browser to jump two pages.An example: I open Seven Forums home page, click News, click first thread in News. After reading it I press back button which should bring me back to News main page but instead browser jumps two pages back to SF home page. Same action when Forward / Next button is pressed, browser jumps two pages forward.All browsers, all sites. Logitech Setpoint drivers uninstalled and reinstalled, laptop rebooted. Issue remains

The font list in office programs is very lengthy. So, following instructions I used the HIDE option in the Font Control Panel to hide many of the fonts I do not use. I would have imagined that Microsoft divisions, like Office, would operate with the user's actions in the Control Panel. Apparently not.

I am running Mozilla Firefox and after recently updating Firefox and plug ins, noticed my email screen has strikethroughs on all the tabs at the top of the screen above the inbox: delete, reply,forward, move, spam, actions. In addition the check boxes next to each individual email (for fast check off and delete) is missingTo the left of the Inbox are my folders and they also have strikethroughs on the Check mail, New, and go tabs.The email is functional, but the entire screen looks like its unfinished.

Got a new Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit machine, found that it did not come with virtual PC. Downloaded the critical patch Windows6.1-KB958559-x64-RefreshPkg.msu and installed it. Windows Virtual PC shows up in my Start Menu. Good so far. I go through the steps to create a virtual machine and use the option to 'use an existing vhd file' and when I click 'Create' I get the above pop-up message "Cannot attach the virtual hard disk to the virtual machine. Check values and try again". A factual message but completely useless as with all error messages from Microsoft. I have tried the following:1. When I attach that vhd using Disk Management, it mounts in drive E:, I can see the files and browse the dirs in E:. In the Disk Management View, the drive shows up as 127 Gigs but 107 is unallocated space. The physical size of the vhd is only 25 Gigs2. Others in my company were able to create the virtual machine with the same vhd, checked the byte size and timing, so nothing is wrong with the vhd file itself.
3. Tried to create after shutting down all virus protection including the Micorsoft antimalware protection service. No luck4. Tried Vhd resize to resize the vhd to a smaller size (since it showed up in disk management as 127 Gigs, I thought maybe it was that size), but VHDResizer could not open the input file, gave an errors "Can only load fixed or dynamic drives"
