"FATAL ERROR: Failed To Locate Necessary Table(s) To Make Adjustments. Press Any Key To Continue Booting"
Jan 27, 2012
I decided to install Windows7 Home Premium on my HP dc5000 SFF. it installed fine but every time it reboots, I get an error that says..."FATAL ERROR: Failed to locate necessary table(s) to make adjustments. Press any key to continue booting"This only happens when using the "restart" mode. if I use "shut down" and let the computer turn completely off, it will start with no errors!
During my usual morning start-up, I got a dos screen with a message and to press F1 to continue. Everything booted fine after that. I ran malwarebytes, backed up my data files on a flash drive and looked into the event logs to see what might have happened.Unfortunately, I didn't even know where to look in the event logs except the administrative events which showed nothing critical.
When my pc trys to reboot it tries to install a windows update but it sits and you think its installing but its not. If the pc need to reboot it fails at the bios screen and you have to power off. Then you get a windows saying that windows could not restart and to press F1 to continue but the reason for the reboot has not been done.
so I got a new laptop and can't figure out one of the tweaks I installed on my old laptop... to copy it to the new one. What it is: Windows 7 would start up to the Login screen, but would continue booting to the desktop (in the background), essentially turning the Login screen into a Lockscreen.Since there seems to be no icon for it (or I can't find it at the moment)... I don't remember what it's called or where it's loaded, how to find/download it again, etc. I've tried googling a couple times... It was just nice to start the computer, walk away... then come back and log in...right to a fully loaded desktop...without waiting for everything to load up.
I have a Dell E6410 running 32-bit Windows 7. When I boot the machine with an USB thumb drive attached I get an Invalid Partition Table error. I hold the power button down, remove the thumb drive and then power the machine up. It then boots with no problem.
and this is the log that came up if it tried virtually everything, another problem was installing Net. Framework 4 which was needed by the programme I'm trying to run, kept coming up with a fatal error, but I got round this by installing the 4.5 developer preview version instead,[CODE]
So I have a laptop here and the previous HD failed. I bought a new HD and I also bought a new Windows 7 Home Edition OEM copy. As I started the Windows 7 installer and it gets to the Windows 7 splash screen, the fatal error appears.
HP laptop-10 days old with an error message from the 3rd day when I start-up the computer reading:
Mom.exe fatal error; CLR error:80004005, "The program will now terminate". I then click the ok button.
I went to the ATI website and downloaded the latest driver for the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 with no luck. Also ran a system file check showing no integrity violations.
Tech support at HP recommends to run the recovery program which will eliminate all the information and programs that I have on the system bringing it to the new condition when I purchased it.
Windows 7 Home; 64 bit. Before I run the recovery program I'm searching for a solution. Also I'm not confident the recovery program will fix the problem.
A few weeks ago my computer turned off unexpectedly while I was using it. When I tried to start it up again, I got a black screen with a blinking cursor. I tried going into BIOS and changing the startup order to no avail. It's now back on default. I also ran the system diagnostic and it said nothing is wrong.I got a Windows 7 repair disk and attempted to use that. I ran the startup diagonosis and restarted-- again a black screen with a blinking cursor. I restored it to an earlier point and restarted-- black screen with blinking cursor. I then attempted to restore it to other points but got an error message (0x8000ffff) each time. Finally, I tried command prompt and did "bootsect /nt60 ALL" which did nothing. So I tried "bootsect /nt52 ALL" which did nothing. I did both of those again with "/force" (which I'm now guessing was a stupid move, but I was desperate to try anything) and now when I restart I get a black screen with "Invalid partition table". When I try to go to system restore now it tells me there are no restore points.
My computer randomly decided to turn off and I figured it was updates, now when it restarts it goes to "device mapping table" I was running windows 7. Anyone know why it might do this and how to fix it?

I Installed steam then Just Cause, took about 2 hours. It said it was ready to play so I clicked played, A black screen comes up, flashes a few times, the a box comes up.

Trying to reinstall a HP 5250 Printer/scanner. Downloaded the update package from the HP site, but it will not install and gives this error: MS VC90.MFC version 9.0.21022.8 public key token "1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b" Fatal Error MSI.netdevicemanager40 I downloaded the HP problem solver but it didn't help after many tries and reboots. I found on the web a reference to "go t microsoft and download the windows installer cleanup utility. you can click this link: www.support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 " When I go to the Microsoft link it refers only to Office - but yet other web references also point to this cleanup tool for installer.
Here is a copy of what pops up on my desktop over and over. I think it's a problem with Pogo and Java. There is more to the error message, A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime.
my 6 weeks old acer aspire laptop, win7 - 64bit, has started showing the message "fatal error no language file was found".i cannot get into I/E8 in either normal mode or safe mode. safe mode is good in all other aspects, normal mode is hopeless.the message appears in the middle of the page at the same time desktop opens.
As you've probably heard countless of times before this error has come up on my HP Paillion G6 laptop. I have tried the recovery disk to repair startup but nothing happened. I don't have a Windows 7 disk either...I need this repaired by Sunday as this is the only time I have other PCs to use in case I need to download/burn anything.
EDIT: I also forgot to mention I have no system restore points and I cannot boot last known configuration or boot into Safe Mode?
I have problem with my graphic driver. Alright, so I recently got Photoshop CS4 using Windows Vista, but I just want to try the Windows & Ultimate so i format may laptop change my OS to Windows 7. Not sure why, but I got the screen to accept or decline the user end license agreement, when I clicked to accept it, it just went away and nothing happened. So I uninstalled it, and tried reinstalling it, now every time I try, it gets right to the end, where it's installing Adobe Bridge CS4 and it comes up with an error saying it had problems installing photoshop CS4 and then asks me if I want to continue with the installation, I click continue, and it finishes, but I get an error message at the end again. When I click more information I get this:
Adobe Photoshop CS4 Error: Error 1603. Fatal error during installation. Adobe Photoshop CS4 Error: Error 1603. Fatal error during installation. Adobe Bridge CS4 Error: Error 1603. Fatal error during installation. Adobe Device Central CS4 Error: Error 1603. Fatal error during installation.
