Okay so I bought a Driverless webcam on ebay and it looks like its one of those cheapyish kind of webcams. I can't install it on my laptops both Win 7 & Win XP. When I plug in the usb, nothing happens.
my driverless camera? Windows 7 detects and installs it but in My Computer it doesn't appear and also it doesn't work with the messengers. But in Win XP it works great
I recently built a new system and everything had been working fine but recently it won't recognize my camera/usb when it's connected. It had worked originally but now -- although it beeps when plugging/unpluggin the usb cable -- nothing shows up on the computer at all. My wife mentioned that she had canceled out of something once when she plugged it in and it wouldn't work after that.
System information: Windows 7 pro i5-2500k HD 6950 1tb spinpoint f3 8gb 1333 ram
The camera is a cannon powershot sx-130 is, if that matters. This is the same for every usb port on the computer. Other devices (ipod, for example) are able to use the same usb ports with no problems and the camera works just fine on other computers. Can you plug usb 2.0 devices into a 3.0 port?
i have an Lenovo g470 laptop with windows 7 Home Basic, Service pack 1, 64 bits and the webcam wont work. when i start up cyberlink youcam, it says: "Warning, No webcam detected. Try plugging in a webcam into your computer now. If you are using an integrated camera, make sure that it is turned on". It worked when i first got my computer for a few months, then it stopped.
The built in webcam on my Acer laptop stopped working. When I tried to use it, a message popped up that said I needed to update it. So I let the computer update. After that my computer wasn't able to detect my webcam. So I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it from the internet but it still doesn't. It installed but when I try to open it, it says "Camera not found".
I have an old HP Photosmart R607 digital camera. I just bought a new HP Pavilion Laptop dv6-6c48 and it says it is not compatible with Windows 7. Do I have to junk my camera?
I have to know something about computers to do accounting (please don't hold that against me).A few weeks ago, I upgraded my system to Windows 7 - for many reasons. I have an inexpensive Argus Bean "Sprout" camera, and the small CD that came with it did not have drivers for Windows 7 (it was not out yet). What a nightmare!!! www.drivermanager.com would not even let me search after visting their sight and wanted $30 for something I do not need, what's worse is that it took over 8 hours to figure out why Norton Symantec PC thing kept uploading itself and turning itself on.Am I the only person hit by this?Is there any way to get the driver for Windows 7 for this cute, little camera I really love?
I've updated my ASUS laptop (A52F Series) to Windows 7 Professional 64 bit SP1 and my camera has upside down image. The type of camera is "USB2.0 0.3M UVC WebCam" from Device Manager. I've tried to download the driver from ASUS support side but it didn't help. I searched online and it seems quite a few people had the same issue like me but I couldn't find any solution for it.
I want to setup my IP Camera, and of course I need to do it via ethernet cable. So, when I put the IP e.g. "192.168.1.102", my Laptop doesn't even load or kept loading. This case happens when I'm using Win 7 Home Basic, but with a Win XP laptop works great.
have the same problem with my Canon G2 / Windows 7 home premium 64 bitsCamera is not recognised.Have downloaded a new DC WIA driver and still not recognised.Camera does not show up in computer or anywhere else. Will show under hardware stating driver not installed.
