my inbuilt microphone for Samsung RV510 laptop stopped working after I run new windows 7 ultimate on it. I believe it's the driver missing.

Fyi, the Speakers are working perfectly. Have checked the Laptop and found the Drivers all installed, but could not find any error. We have been using this Laptop for mostly skype calls and used extensively. It would be almost 3 months now. But just a couple of days back that the Mic did not start functioning.

View 3 Replies View RelatedRecently, I've got a Samsung SyncMaster 2043NWX monitor. It's an used one, but it did work. My computer is an Acer Aspire M3920 (desktop), a more complete configuration can be found in my profile.
My desktop PC connects to my main monitor, an Acer P196HQV via an HDMI to DVI connnector, and my desktop PC connects to my second monitor, the SyncMaster, via VGA.
The problem is, however, the second monitor doesn't work. Windows 7 does detect a monitor connected via VGA in Control Panel > Appearance and Personalisation > Display > Adjust Screen Resolution, it says in the display box: Code: 2. Display Device on: VGA. In the Device Manager it only detected my Acer monitor, but after I downloaded the SyncMaster driver from the official site of Samsung, it detects the SyncMaster instead of the Acer monitor! This isn't the case in Adjust Screen Resolution.
The SyncMaster shows nothing at all, the blue LED, where I can tell the monitor is turned on from, flickers all the time, but the screen doesn't show anything.
I have tried reinstalling the driver, restarting my computer, installing the newest updates for Windows 7, making the SyncMaster my main monitor, turning off the Acer monitor, but nothing works.
my New Samsung Laptop is running alot slower than before, it was running nice and fast then all of a sudden the next time I started it up it was ALOT slower

Let me know if you need any more info on the Specs.Anyway, I only installed a a small game and now its running slower, but i have installed games before and they didnt make much difference. I ran a Full Scan on Norton and there was no Viruses. Im so confused. Ive tried Cleaning Up my Computer too.
When I RDP to the machine, it will connect to my login screen. But when I type in my userID and password, it will come up with a certificate error message. It will ask whether i want to connect anyway. When I click yes, it will return to the IP address box and will not login.

Bought some pieces, assembled a new PC, installed Windows 7 Ultimate, then SP1, then several programs and everything seemed to be fine. But the next day, without changing anything, some programs won't start correctly, to be more precise: their processes seem to start (or at least they show up on Task Manager, but consuming only a few KB of ram and no CPU) but no program window appears whatsoever. Sometimes rebooting the PC will stop this from happening, but not always. Here I attach screenshots of CPU-Z and the customary files for debugging BSODs. Full system specs: [URL].
