I bought Windows 7 Pro. 64bit and installed it on my PC just to find out that my old Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback Wheel isn't compatible. I've been searching for a Wheel that is Windows 7 Pro. 64bit. Compatible with not much luck. I really don't want to pay over $150 for a Win. 7 Pro. Compatible wheel.

I wrote last May asking about Office 2003 compatibility with Windows 7, and decided to install office 2003 after my Office 2007 trial version was up. Well, now it is up, only the install CD I have says "Microsoft Office XP Professional, version 2002." Not the same as MS Office 2003? So I'm wondering again, will this version be compatible with Windows 7? Also I was planning to remove Win 7 with "RipoutOffice2007".

Nobody can hear me and I've configured the the microphone and speakers to how they should be set in order for skype to work but no one can hear although I can hear every one just fine. I primarily used Chrome before, but browsing is practically impossible on it now. So now I use Firefox 4 since its been decent with me. Initially the windows installed a default driver which was working fine , but I Had to make my 5.1 speakers work. In order to do that I downloaded realtek latest drivers from your other threads which is still not helping me out. Now, All my sound system now are working fine but still the MIC is not working .
Finally got through my first day with Windows 7, must say it does get easier. I'm trying to get the programs onto my new system that I ran using XP. I've been using Nero 6 on my XP system, anything in the new Windows 7 that can burn CDs and DVDs or should I try and download Nero 6 if it works with a 64 bit system?

I have a D-Link DWA-547 PCI card, and this seems to be the culprit. If I am quick I can disable the card before it starts to connect to the internet. Once it connects, the computer freezes.
I have tried several drivers for the card without luck including:
1.40b06
1.60(E)b12
The default drivers that Windows 7 installed (7.0.0.84 I think...)
They all freeze the computer.
Has anyone run into this before, and found a solution?

Now, when a try to install any 64-bit programs it shows a message of incompatible version of the program with the running Windows, but my Windows 7 is 64 bits.
My computer got the BootMGR is missing problem, which I have had in the past which is not that big. I insert the Windows 7 64 Ultimate disk it starts up everything fine, press repair my computer and it finds the installation. But when I press on it and next it has an error pop up saying "This version of system recovery options is not conpattble with the version of windows you are trying to repair. Try using a recovery disc that i compatible with this version of Windows." If I dont select anything but press next it allows me to look at the screen Im supposed to, but if I go to command prompt or click autmatically repair nothing will be saved or changed. This is the same disc I installed Windows with and repaired it several times. But I did have to reset BIOS earlier so this may have affected something.
