I have my Dell N4010 Inspiron 14R laptop/notebook with the OS of windows 7 32bit Ultimate.
My bluetooth was previously working fine with the driver Dell wireless 365 Bluetooth Driver 6.2.1.100 A00 win 32/64bit R273580. I notice that this past days when i connect my N6120c phone via bluetooth, my laptop didn't have any reaction, when i see my system tray no bluetooth icon was presented, previously there it is. So i manually run the bluetooth through BTTray.exe from CProgram FilesWIDCOMMBluetooth Software, but my laptop didn't react to it. So i look at the device manager and there was no trace of bluetooth, previously there was a Peripheral Bluetooth. So i manually re-install the driver and then its stuck on this page, Activate Bluetooth using Wireless Switch, on the lower right it say Cancel Installation.
What would my back panel e-sata controller be listed as in device manager?
It's not controlled by the PCH on my P55 board. It's controlled by a J-Micron chip that also controls two of my other SATA ports on my motherboard. (I think) I may have 3 SATA controllers))
I am trying to find out which driver I have now so I can update it. Which one of these would it be? (if any)
I've had this computer for a few years now and have never had a problem using the bluetooth to connect to my phone until now.
When I tried to first open BTTray.exe I got an error and while trying to fix that I noticed that my bluetooth chip was no longer in my device manager, any ideas on how to fix this?

I installed windows 7 ultimate 64 bit in my HP pavilion dm4 notebook just now. I have installed all the drivers except for two called "Bluetooth peripheral device". I tried update automatically from internet, but windows was unable to find driver. Then I tried "let me pick from list of drivers" , but in Bluetooth radio category, I was unable to find a driver for the company " Microsoft Corporation".
every time i press fn + f8 & choose the bluetooth option it doesn't respond , & when i choose enable bluetooth from the "right click on the taskbar bluetooth" button this message pops up:[ Power could not be supplied to the internal bluetooth module, Make sure that the wirless communication Switch is set ON. ]what's the "wirless communication Switch" is , & how to switch it on?
Have recently purchased a small usb inspection snake camera with led light and when testing it plugged it into two desktops computers (one xp pro not sure of the other as it was a network work computer) It automatically loaded the drivers and brought up a screen automatically with the realtime image.(no driver disc came with it). However plugging into my windows 7 64bit sony laptop it signals a connection beep, loaded drivers automatically but wouldn't open or show up on my computer disc manager as an external usb source to click on. It does however show up on device manager as a usb camera and when I unplug and replug in it disappears and reappears so I know I have the right camera (not the lap top webcam inbuilt one that shows USB 2 Camera). Have tried updating drivers automatically and uninstalling it etc. Need it to work on the lap top so it can act as the movable screen for it?
I just bought a new ASUS computer with Windows 7. I have a Macbook Pro and would like to transfer my photos and music onto my new computer. I have 2 external hard drives that work perfectly fine on my mac as well as other PCs. When I plug either of my external hard drives in they are recognized in device manager and say they are working properly but are not recognized in disk manager or under my computer...

Oh and is it appropriate for me to use this topic to ask another question regarding explorer.exe as while i am inside a folder i delete (by choosing delete from the context menu in the tree view) while inside that folder on this particular laptop PC explorer. always crashes, collect information, sends it and restarts explorer. I have not experienced this problem on any other pc running any version of windows 7, oh and the same happened with build 7264 x32 and the current install of build 7600 x64.

When I disable the network controller in Device Manager, the controller is disabled but nothing changes in Device Manager to identify the device as being disabled. When I used to do the same thing in Windows XP, the device icon turned yellow. Is there some setting to identify disabled devices in Win 7's Device Manager?

I am unable to locate Realtek HD Audio Manager on Windows 7. I have the latest drivers installed, and I can access the Realtek soundcard properties through the control panel, but I cannot seem to find the Realtek HD Audio Manager program anywhere.

There was a typical long list until recently, and now they're all gone. I was looking for my scanner which isn't being recognised, although the printer (it's an all-in-one HP photosmart 8180) is recognised and will print. I've run driver updates, registry cleanups, and system restore but with no effect.
My win 7 system was up and running without any problems. I don't recall making any changes in hardware, however several S/W updates have been installed.
Suddenly my CD/DVD did not show up in the devices screen (and did not work). It does show up in the bios and the device manager.
If I uninstall it, it comes back into the device manager but it still doesn't show up in the devices with removable storage screen

Windows 7 64 Bit, does not detect ANY network adapters. We installed windows in August and it has been fine, now for some reason it simply doesn't detect any adapters at all and does not display a Network Adapters heading in the device manager folder treeThe hardware in question is an onboard LAN card on a ASUS Sabertooth X58 motherboard, the lan card is listed in the bios as a RTL8110SCLANI have checked to be sure that the device is enabled in the BIOS, as well as disabling other on board devices in case there was some kind of conflict.
