I am now using Mozilla Thunderbird on my Dell Win7 laptop, but I am unable to open hyperlinks inside website email messages, either by left-clicking or right-clicking to open the link in browser. That email account is not used very often, but I believe the "open-link" function did work once upon a time.

I expected after the transfer that the data would be in the right places - like my favorites would be in Firefox in the bookmarks - nope they are not there. I knew it sounded too easyso what do I do now? I have backup of the important data like my favorites, my email folders, Word documents and I did the transfer by windows easy transfer. How do I get the data in the right software? I really hate sounding stupid but why didn't it put it in the right places or when I open my email how do I move the data into Thunderbird?

I am trying to piggy back my address book and messages from Outlook Express on my old WinXP PC to Thunderbird 64bit on my new Windows7 PC. I have imported the address book and messages from Outlook Express on my old PC into a 32 bit version of Thunderbird on the old PC but cannot get any further.
I have Windows 7 on my computer. With IE8 as the default browser. I use AOL for my E-mail provider. For the past two days, the hyperliniks in my e-mail don't work when I click on them. I have the e-mail settings set to allow hyperlinks to work. IE8 is set to the default browser. I do have firefox also on the computer. But, removed it to see if that was maybe causing issues. No change.I re-installed the software for my mouse. Thinking maybe it became corrupted.

First I have to download them, which is a royal pain. No matter what I use to read them I get the html looking stuff. Gmail is working fine as long as the messages are not from Thunderbird. Everything else on my puter seems to be working ok.

It may have been other things that I installed which led me to have to re-install Firefox, but I just need to be able to get the links to work again.

They opened in Photo Gallery when clicked.Now, on 7, they always open in MSIE8, even though default program for pictures is set to Live Photo Gallery. I just purchases a new DELL desktop system that runs Windows 7 and the newest version of Windows mail. My ISP is Comcast. Since using this Windows mail, people with email accounts on verizon.net and optonline.net do not receive my email messages when sent thru Windows mail. If I send these people the same message thru Comcast webmail the message is received by these people. Email accounts on yahoo, gmail, and various other servers can receive the messages. This leads me to conclude that there is something that Windows mail is doing to the outgoing message that is causing it to be rejected by certain servers
